APPEARANCE
standing 168 centimeter and weighing 56kg, seowoon would say that's got the health portion of her life all under control. her long black wavy hair that comes down to the base of her spine has never been cut since she started graduate school when she vowed to never cut until she finish her dissertation. and just like most of her family members, she has a great number of moles dotting her face and neck - her chin has three of them, one in her right ear (which makes people ask why she only has one earring in her ear) and then two in her right neck; even her hands are not spared, having a couple in her fingers. If there's one thing that seowoon likes the best from her features, though, it would be her eyes that are naturally light brown in color. she doesn't have any extra piercings or tattoos in her body because of her fear of needles, although she would very much want to have (two more in her right ear and one in her left for peircings and a star shaped tattoo in her wrist). 

FASHION STYLE
for seowoon, casuality and comfort is the key. she never is one to wear something that would hinder her to be able to do what she wants and needs to do, which is why more often than not she would be seen wearing jeans, tee shirts, sweaters and polos (for a, erm, professional aura) over dresses and skirts - much to her friends' chargin. instead of bangles or any other accessories, seowoon would only have a rosary bracelet, a hair tie, and a watch (all of those in her collection were from her mom and which she wears in her right wrist) as accessories. looking at the girl's wardrobe, you would find that most of her clothes are monochromatic in color, occasional autumn colors (rowns, oranges and reds) would be seen and a drawer (okay, maybe two drawers) of snapbacks and beanies would also be there. CAREERS
taking up her master's degree in east asian studies in SKK, seowoon is also basking in her second love, coffee, as she works in their family-owned coffee shop--bookstore (books & beans) located near the Hongdae subway station. although offered to manage the shop by her grandparents, she decided to stick to what she knows she does best, making coffee for coffee addicts just like herself as head barista, and relinquished the stressful business ordeals to her younger cousin instead.

one thing that you should know about this girl is that she's terrible at first encounters, or seconds, or even thirds. an awkward turtle at her best, seowoon is the type of lady that would give you an air of aloofness and 'iness' at first glance, mainly because of her terrible social skills and her logic of not talking to you first if you don't do it to her. rough, gruff, and manly, that's how seowoon is; she's the type to be strict when needed, the type to bottle up her feelings and words to not stress others, she's the type to be all cold and seemed to not give you a damn but will give you all her love if you give her time to show it to you. beyond that first shell of defense though, she's the type of a friend that would just go with all your whims and would give you all the care and protectiveness that you need. she loves it when people depend on her but never the other way around, for her it would be better to just give and give help than receive as to not disrupt others. 

all her life though, seowoon has always been laid back and easygoing, so laid back even that she would often receive playful jabs from her family for being too lazy (which is totally true, i mean, who wouldn't want to just lazy around right? lol). imaginative and perspective, this girl would often been seen staring out in to space thinking about god-knows-what and being so out of it that it that she would just sometimes blurt out random words making the people around think of her in question. 

BACKGROUND
being the elder child in the family of four and the second oldest of the nine cousins, seowoon was forced to be the more mature and more adult-like child in their family in an early age that had most likely contributed to her being all doting to her friends and little cousins till now. growing up in an old household did not help in that aspect either. but despite all those seowoon is not one to complaint, she actually loved giving and living the simple life that they had. sure there would be times when the expectations would weigh her down, especially with her very overachieving older cousin and smart alecks as younger cousins, but she's not one to scumber give in to the stress and would just let it pass through with a laugh and a smile in her face.

although rather close to her cousins and brother, her relationship with her father isn't really that great. they love all the same kinds of stuff and have almost the same personality (excpet his father was more talkative than her) but it seemed like it's what makes them clash more, they would debate about things and disagree with seowoon's choices more commonly than not. not to mention his over overprotectiveness (especially after losing his wife just two years ago) that it was such a surprise to everyone around her that he actually relented and let her live on her own after she graduated from university (granted that her apartment is at the same building as their coffee shop).

she was quite well known to the people in their school as the 'library lodger', someone who would most likely be in the library buried in some books for fun, or 'the girl who has books as hands' because of the likeliness of you seeing her with a book in her hands is as similar as seeing the sun shine every morning.  of course she wasn't anti-social, but neither was she a social butterfly so it was kind of hard for her to make friends when she got into high school other than her friends from way back in elementary school but it had all eliviated when she got close to the yeoshins through sujae. although different in terms of their personalities, sujae was able to help out the girl come out of her shell and the other yeoshins strengthened it by making it a point to make her go out more every month as a dare whenever they would play games (that she would somehow always lose because besides computer games and sports, she seriously is the worst with any novelty games).

absolutely thankful for all the practices that the yeoshins made her do for dares, seowoon sailed through university (majoring in korean history in sungkyungkwan university) with an ease (and also the help of an old friend from grade school). sure high school was all bits of fun but it was in the university where seowoon really came out and made herself. surrounded by people who all loves the same things that you do and who enjoys those things like you do, the university helped her be more sure of herself; and that although her innate awkwarness and innocence is still there, she's far more sociable and open than she was before.

despite loving her singlehood and individuality, to seowoon, there really isn't anything wrong with falling in love and all that stuff. she's seen people falling in love, drowning in love, and being parted from their love to know that there isn't anything wrong with love per se. if anything, she actually loves the idea of falling in love. she's surrounded by cousins and classmates alike katalking the love of their lives on get togethers, a father and grandmother who are very much in love with their other halves even after they lost them, and now even her inha eonnie's marrying her dream guy and if these people doesn't make you want love to come your way then i don't think anything would.

when sujae asked the gang to be bridesmaids to the wedding she didn't hesitate to say yes, partially because she absolutely adores weddings but mostly because there'll surely be an infinite pool of dessert there! lol just joking (or was she? hehe). she's always adored inha and jaeho's relationship, especially since she's seen how love sick inha was with the boy throughout high school and even after all these years, and then added with the idea of seeing her high school friends gathered together and her inability to say no to people, she's never one to pass out to the occasion.

TRIVIAS

• SNS - both using the ur @sseoioch her twitter and instagram are basically the only active sns that she has, given that both are mainly dedicated to checking up on her beloved suju oppars
• SEEN-ZONED - just like in rl, seowoon's just like a shadow lurking at the background of her other sns pages (kakao, line, fb) and just reads through stuff afterwards and the only clue that she's there with you in the conversation is when you see the seen icon somewhere there
• #FOODIE - she will eat literally anything that you put in front of her, except livers (and by default soondae) bc eugh
• LIKE MULAN, BUT KOREAN - karate, wushu, taekwondo, judo, hapkido! just say what martial arts it is and she has probably went to learn it.
• YEAH, NO - if there's one thing that seowoon hates (after lizards and frogs, that is), it would be the color pink and all those cutesy stuff. she's just... no.
• ROUGH LOVE - to seowoon, the measurement of whether she's close to a person is when she freely can just smack him/her in the arm or just attack the person in any way. you know when she likes you when she can ignore whatever the hell you're doing to her and when you have the biggest bruise in your arm courtesy of this girl.
• 'ARE YOU A DJ?' - her music selection is just too diverse that when you try to peak at her phone and see her music app, there'll be a bunch of mandarin there, some japanese, english, pop, hip-hop, and even metal rock
• CUSS - for whatever reason there is, seowoon cannot just let a cuss be uttered by and the nearest that she can say are 'shoot!' and 'fudge!'. and no, of course that's not a bad thing, but just, sometimes there are those moments where words cannot express your emotions and you want to just let it out with a cuss... and she couldn't. she just could not.
• ZZZZZZZ~ - as much as she loves her family and her friends, her bed will always be ranked number one in her heart that she gets really really sad whenever she needs to get up from it and would in turn make her late more often than not to her appointments.
• 'GAH, MY STOMACH!' - a foodie and a coffee addict through and through, there's one thing that stops her from going all out with eating and drinking though, she suffers from hyperacidity and gastritis whenever she goes over her limit with eating and drinking caffainated drinks (and also why she never drinks carbonated drinks)
• 'SCOOOORE!!' - aside from the physical martiat arts, she also love ball sports. basketball and soccer are her favorites.
• POTTERHEAD - being friend with her would make you know how horribly scarce her tears are, but if there's one thing that makes her cry more than anything then it is undoubtedly harry potter. once during lunch back in high school she just suddenly burst into tears, not knowing why initially, the yeoshins freaked out because it was their first time seeing her cry. it wasn't until one of them saw her clutching the closed book in her lap that they all laughed at her silliness.

                                      

                                       

"OH, HEY, WE'RE MATCHING AGAIN!"
here's the thing, kim jongdae would probably be the best guy that you would ever meet. ever. he may not be the most handsome or the most cut-out-for-tv kind of guy out there but that's what makes him attractive and charming. his boy-next-door personality is the most charming thing ever, add to it his sense of humor and friendly disposition and any person that will be graced by his personality might just fall in love with this man, that is if you can put pass his troll-ness and loudness.

but that kind of is his biggest flaw too, being all too sociable like a social butterfly he is, jongdae is the type of person that may give you that 'too perfect!' buzz that you want to stay away from. when he's with his friends (who are as equally as sociable as he is), that's when his childishness comes out though as he'll be so loquacious and playful and would bring out his troll-like personality.


THE RED STRING OF THAT ABSTRACT THINGY I DO NOT BELIEVE IN
back track high school where all you deal with are a dang load of homeworks and calculus and feelings, seowoon might just have a teeny tiny crush on this guy who she shares most of her classes with, someone who we'll call by kim jongdae. like many other girl in the world, seowoon once upon a time got a taste of those fluffy feelings and butterfles on the stomach kind of thing, the bad news though is that it positively is a one-sided liking on her case. that's probably why she likes inha and jaeho's relationship very much, because what started out with inha having the biggest crush on jaeho turned out to be the very first wedding that she would go on other than her family's (and seowoon's probably, and subconsciously, is wishing for something like that too).

the first time seowoon met jongdae was when they were freshmen and he was assigned the seat behind her. sharing classes with jongdae and his friends aren't that bad, on the contrary, it's actually pretty enjoyable and fun. what the worst part of it all though is constantly being partnered up and cornered up to being desk partners with the kid and generally being all too near-yet-too-far kind of thing for her liking. that first year they were classmates, jongdae would constantly lean front to her and whisper questions and jokes to her ears that would startle the fudge out of seowoon and coat her cheeks with red.

fast forward to their last year in high school when they started having shared classes again and the yeoshins got the air of her liking towards the dude already and would constantly because of it, they had somewhat became more of a friend than just casual classmates and deskmates that even their teachers and other classmates would comment on their closeness. of course seowoon would adamantly say no to any claims knowing that jongdae has someone he shares a 'ssome' relationship with (that she low-key ships too because they were adorable together), and he would, in turn, just laugh and smile his way out of the questions. seowoon is never the one to just assume stuff, but even the very skeptical sujae would point out stuff like how jongdae would do stuff for her and have matching things with her ('HE EVEN ASKED YOU TO PROM INSTEAD OF THE GIRL!' sujae exclaimed that one time) that had kept seowoon guessing and guessing what the real score between them was.

and, well, it obviously was never answered and life just kept going. and then the wedding came where the two bumped with each other, and i meant literally bumped, when seowoon was rounding up the corner after checking on inhae and jongdae was on his way to pay visit to the bride herself. and, well, words passed on from each one (jongdae pushing his visit to the bride until the wedding reception) and they just conversed like they were still deskmates in their last year in high school ('well, minus the uniforms, of course. and, hey! we're matching again!' jongdae would say somewhere in their conversation pointing at his tie and her bridesmaid outfit, completely disregarding that all bridesmaids are wearing the ensemble). and then somewhere along the way, seowoon would greet jongdae for his birthday and jongdae would jokingly (or not) ask her for a date as a present in reply, making her blush red  while jongdae smiles at her with the tip of his lips going higher than it normally is. (and somewhere in the venue, the other yeoshins would definitely be snapping photos of their normally straight-faced, history loving, friend to use as a blackmail material.)
