When I read this, I thought, why not? It's good and I thought the same too. I was kind of annoyed when I found a story who has many subscribers (like already passing 100+ subs) and upvotes (100+ votes) still on that blue thingy box.

Why do you need to ing advertise in that blue thingy box if you have that many subs and votes? I'm not saying that those stories are not worth for to get advertised.

Give a chance to others, who don't have too much KP like those crazy authors who have too many KP (30k+, something like that). There are beautiful gems hidden in AFF who are also good but yet, have small KP to advertise. 

I never even used that advertising system because my KP is small, unlike those popular authors who have massive KP like -_-

I'll get straight to the point.  I've been lurking around on AFFC a lot (that's affconfessions.tumblr.com)) and it suddenly gets to me how it IS sort of unfair of how the advertisement feature is mainly used by popular authors out there who really don't need to advertise anymore (but I do this too so HAHAHHAA).  That true purpose for that advertisement feature is to promote underrated stories that are buried under the load of, let's be honest here,CRAP ON ASIANFANFICS.  HAHA.  I said that.  I FINALLY SAID THAT AHHA it feel so good to be brutally honest HAHAA

If I'm going to be completely honest, I've actually one person in mind who I see almost every week on the Rated advertisement section who already has a gabajillion of adoring fans and readers and featured fanfiction.  I'm NOT PICKING HATE ON HER OR WHATEVER, I'm just saying that it must be sad for some people whose stories are really worth advertising, but because they can't win over the bid (because their stories are really underrated) they cant advertise it and bring it to light-- since that person must have a gabajillion ton of karmas which always wins the bid for her(she also gets featured a lot so). AGAIN, I AM NOTTTTTTTT saying that she shouldn't be advertising all the time or getting featured all the time or whatever, I'm just saying that others should also get the chance to advertise-- especially others whose stories are really worth reading and sadly haven't gotten the chance to let them shine.  It's a sad cycle-- they're not popular--> they can't advertise, because they don't have enough karma.  Not advertising-->  not popular, will not have enough karma--?  Cannot advertise-->  you see my point ehre/????There are many, many jewels out there-- you just have to pick through all the rock. 

Before I sound even more hypcritical-- YES, I HAVE USED THE ADVERTISING FEATURE BEFORE.  I'm guilty as charged.  It's only natural to want more and more attention.  But I'm gonna change that for now.  Also I am not saying that popular authors should not use the advertising ffeature.  I'm just sayng that the thousands of other underrated, undiscovered works on aff should be brought to light and the not so popular but having potential authors should also be given a chance.   So now, instead of keep on advertising my own story, I'm planning to do change another thing :  

I'll advertise others' stories with my karmas.  Other underrated stories which really deserve and which should be given a chance. I've actually been planning to advertise yet another story of mine (heehehehehehhe sowwy) but you know what?  I'm gonna do this while the idea is still glowing bright and hot in my head.  SO HERE'S THE PITCH: 

Comment down an underrated story you'd like to see be advertised, or you think deserves more attention.  Give me the link and don't say i forgot who wrote it but the story goes like kai accidentally turns into a girl blablabla NO YOU THINK I'M GONNA BE ABLE TO FIND IT WITH THAT ??  Also, just add like a simple comment on the story like balbalblabla why you liked it and blablabla.  If you want, you may also help me by sending in some karma.  you can also send some in if you support this idea of mine but don't have an underrated story you'd like to uncover. just say you'd like to help and mwah!   sorry.  I'm begging like this because once upon time, I had about 40k karma, I've advertised 3 stories and 1 of them for 2 days straight (1 day in the rated section and 1 day in the normal section) so I'm currently running so low like never before.  stupid as it seems  I'M SAD BOUT THIS ACTUALLY BUT I'M WILLING TO REPENT.  i think this is a great thing to do.  Afterall, this is what KARMA points should be used for right?  Do good and recieve good.  Now I'm not saying I'm doing this to recieve good stuff, but I'm just doing this to... do good.  sERIOUSLY.  THESE DO GOOD MOODS OF MINE ARE RARE.  help me and spread this blog okay???  I think it's time we really started helping those underrated authors.  

note:  fics will be judged upon my judgement and trust me, I've read a lot of books throughout my life.  I know what's lame and what's not, what's proper English and what's not (despite my crappy capitalization here on this blogpost *i swear it doesn't happen when i write*), and what's worth advertising and what's not.  I also know what's a lame storyline and what's not (even though I have been there on the lame side) 

And this is not me asking for karma.  I swear when I get enough and when there's a story worth advertising, I'll advertise it.  Questions or suggestions?  COMMENT!  Let's name this #theAProject!  i'm aware that this really isn't gonna be a fast process-- like I won't be advertising hidden gems every fortnight because I DON'T GET 50 KARMAS EVERYTIME I BLINK OK.  IT adds up slowly.  but maybe we can start a community for this or something, I don't know.  But this is just my starting idea.  PLEASE DROP YOUR THOUGHTS.  Comment down below to say something, or you can come around and talk to me on my ask.fm/triisshh
