A few people have been asking me why I was so sure Choi Minho, Mr. Flaming Charisma himself was possiby the most homoqueer member of Shinee.

Watch this exerpt from Pianist Minho had his first onscreen kiss in. I never thought much of Minho's acting, I didn't think it was terrible but it certainly was never anything to write home about. I watched the enitrety of To the Beautiful You and thought he got through it fine, however, this sheds a new light on things. He's kissing this girl, like he genuinely does not like her. Maybe it's a personal thing or maybe it's just because he's not comfortable, but he looks as if he doesn't really want to spend any more time pressing his lips to her in such an intimate manner than he already had to. 

To decide if It could just be a result of not knowing the actress very well or being close to her, I decided to look at a video From Ttby, one of him kissing his labelmate Sulli:

He doesn't look as uncomfortable before, but it's almost as if he's pressing his lips to a wall. He seems to have no emotional or personal stake in the kiss. Even if it is acting, he seems like he has no feelings to tether himself to the character whatsoever.

SOme things I also looked into is Shinee's dream girls and idela types. while nothing will quite compare to Key's mysterious answers that could honestly apply to any gender, Something about Minho's answers were also quite . .  vague? They wrote him off as having high standards so it wouldn't be directy adressed, but even when talking about girls he may like, his face seems to darken and his mood doesn't seem nearly as bright. I speculate that he may be kind of repulsed by the thought of being in a heteroual relationship honestly.

Noww, let's look at some instances of him leaning more torward homouality.

Now here we see him lean over playfully, like a joke with his lips puckered toward Jonghyun. Jong gives him a quick peck which causes Minho to stay in the same position a moment, touch his lips, turn with a huge smile and awkardly giggle while looking away. That's more emotion he's ever protrayed here than any acting role he's had or any fancam with girls he's had.

Also, I won't put in all the instances that first gave me inklings of this theory, but 2min is a very real indicator. 

Almost any shipper video out there shows just how real the bias Minho has for Taemin is. He almost reminds me of a Got7's Jackson because he is very considerate and affectionate, so it's easy to see him in roles where he takes care of people. However, the title he earned for himself, hyung shows that he also likes the feeling of being the younger or being watched out for by older men.

I'l end this for now, but just watch out for Choi Minho, watch his interactions with men and watch his interactions with women. Watch how he shows his preferances and don't rule anything out.
