PERSONALITY Aerin is quite a quiet girl. She doesn't like to talk that much and doesn't really approach anyone first. Though she's quiet, she loves to laugh and loves having fun. She is quite adventurous, wanting to try new things. Aerin has grown to be quite sneaky and rebellious, having a strict mom who wanted her to focus on acting. Though she tends to be rebellious, she still loves her mom truly and is still obedient to her mother. She never fails to do what her mother wants and would do anything not to disappoint her mother. She also finds pleasing her mom a way for her to do and explore other things. Aerin isn't the type to speak up for herself, and would often just stay quiet when someone has wronged her, and will only speak up when she's up to her limit. Aerin is quite patient, being able to stand things she doesn't like well. Aerin tends to be sensitive as she easily gets hurt with other people's word. When she gets hurt, she doesn't really speak out about it but gives the person a silent treatment. Aerin is quite good with words and is able to sweet talk her way out of trouble. She also has a hidden aegyo that she rarely use.

Aerin is quite prideful and doesn't like people thinking of her as weak. whenever she would cry, she would always run away or stop her tears. She rarely talks about her true feelings, and would only talk about it with her closest friends, not even with her mother. Unable to express her feelings well, Aerin usually shows it through her actions and loves doing skinship with those she's close to. Aerin tends to be very passionate in all things, trying her best in everything she does, even love. When she confessed to seungcheol, she gave him a hundred paper cranes which held how she felt about him. WHenever Aerin gets mad, she tends to show it through her actions and can be violent, though when she acts, she tries her best to control her actions. On camera she tends to be more friendly and cheerful, and easily expresses her "feelings".
BACKGROUND Aerin's mother was an aspiring actress, whose dreams were crushed with one pregnancy. aerin's mother had once received a lead role opportunity with a great and famous director. she had to travel to jeju for her audition. Aerin's mother had successfully impressed the directors and casters, but she lost all of it when she got pregnant. The director could not have a pregnant lead actress and she was instantly dropped. she met a handsome young entrepreneur, who was at the top of his game. She instantly fell in love, while he felt attracted to her. At the start, aerin's father was willing to take responsibility, but when Aerin was born, he tried to take aerin away from her mother and tried to give her money to return to seoul. Aerin's mother did not accept his money and ran away, going back to seoul. There, Aerin's mother raised Aerin with the help of her mother. Unable to achieve her dream, aerin's mother had hoped for her own daughter to become a top actress.
Growing up, Aerin attended drama classes and acting classes after school, and was even part of her school's drama club. Her mother brought her to auditions, but sadly she couldn't book any of them, except for one cf of a not-so-popular water brand. While she strived to become an actress, Aerin's schoolmates and friends were dreaming to become an idol. Aerin got curious at the idol life and auditioned for pledis behind her mother's back. She got accepted, surprised to have a talent in singing and dancing. There she met Seungcheol, whom she had a crush on afterwards. She also met Mingyu, whom she became good friends with, and a girl named juni whom she thought of as her bestfriend. A few months after being a trainee at pledis, and balancing her drama classes and training at pledis, Aerin confessed to Seungcheol but was rejected. A few days after, she found out that Seungcheol had asked Juni out, who knew about aerin's crush on seungcheol. Aerin was devastated, as seungcheol was the first guy she has ever liked. Whenever Aerin was around, Seungcheol would always show off his relationship with Juni, knowing Juni and Aerin were friends. Aerin felt betrayed and couldn't stand how she felt. She confronted Juni, which resulted in a big fight, causing both Juni and Aerin to be kicked out off pledis. Aerin's mom found about aerin's secret and was got furious at her daughter. at the age of 16, Aerin's mother had found Aerin a company, sidus HQ, which housed tons of successful actors, actresses, and models. Since then, Aerin has focused in her acting career, stopping herself from falling and getting distracted by guys.

He knew what happened to the two of them before and though he was optimistic, he couldn't help but worry. He wasn't sure on what to think either seeing that his leader and hiscrush friend was in a fake relationship. Mingyu did feel a bit jealous, though he stops himself thinking that he and aerin were just friends.
