APPEARANCE ✖ hayate is a scary individual at first glance. it's like he has this permnant scowl on his face 24/7. his honey brown eyes practically stare into your soul. his face his flawless except for one mole on the bridge of his nose. there is a faint scar going diagonally around the middle area of his his left collarbone. both of his ears are pierced multiple times, but he usually only keeps in his 1/2" gauges. despite his ears, hayate does have two piercings elsewhere: his tongue (which is only seen if his sticks his tongue out) and his navel (in which he really admires, but pretends that he was dared to get it). has two tattoos: right bicep and lower abdomen. his hair is actually quite soft, hayate has never dyed it (well, that will be changed soon, right? /shot.). he keeps the same hairstyle all the time, where he slightly curls the top so it looks bouncy and light. his hair is naturally curly. he doesn't look much with clothes on, but with a shirt off, you can see all his hidden muscles easily.

☇ hayate is a fatherly figure despite his punky and scary appearance. he's actually really patient and easy to talk to (because his scowl is just for show really). he is the perfect person to go to when stressed because he'll listen and give you the right advice to get you back on your feet. he is very time oriented, despising whenever someone holds him back or is late.trust him to be the first one to wake up every morning. he is not afraid to slap someone awake if they make him late.
☇ do you hear that? that was the sound of you scared for your life. if you end up pissing hayate off, you are in for a world of hurt. he doesn't have muscles just for showing off, it's for bashing people's face in. it might sound like he has some major anger issues, but people need to stop being so stupid. he is very protective of anybody he deems close to him (mostly reserved to his family and michael, but soon the group). say one insult towards any of them and make sure to kiss yourself goodbye.
☇ here is the real hayate that will for sure ruin his punk image forever (he's ruining it right now). under all his muscles and his scowl, he is just a little child that is scared of bugs and like sappy romance novels. his dorky side is loveable and cuddable. people are either stuck between laughing at him or running away from him. he acts weak in front of the members, but they all know it's an act because he hates it when people are scared of him.

☇ hayate's parents met each other in their first year of university. linda was in an exhange student program in tokyo while tadashi was simply a regular student that helped with the exchange students. you could say he fell head over heels towards her. she was beautiful: long blond hair and sparkling blue eyes. though it took a lot of effort on tadashi's part because linda's sister yolanda came with her (for reason he still doesn't know). yolanda was like the creepy little sister who wanted her big sister's attention all the time. but in the end, yolanda saw the love between her sister and tadashi. so she finally gave tadashi the right to marry linda.
☇ a year after they both graduated university, linda became pregnant with hayate. hayate was literally the life of everyone. he always had everyone wanting to hold him or just to see him. he was a smart child, learning to crawl, walk, and talk much earlier than much kids. his little family lived in japan until the age of seven. tadashi could see that linda really missed her relatives back in america and he still had yet to visit the country. so within a month, tadashi surprised the family with passports and tickets. hayate was confused and upset at first because all his friends were here. in america, he would be outcasted (since his mother was american, he was taught english along with japanese, but he was a stubborn child). linda assured her child that it would be alright.
☇ and she was right. they moved to a little city called falls church in ia. the place was close by to where linda's relatives were living at. it was like the missing piece to their family puzzle. hayate's first day of school was frightening, but he got over it when he noticed that most of his school were asian like him. then he met michael who led him around the whole school. hayate fell in love with ia within a couple of days. years later, little aiko was born (linda insisted with a japanese name and plus that was tadashi's mother's name). she became the center of hayate's universe...besides michael and rapping. rapping. how did that happen? sadly he was obsessed with american rap in his middle school years (he still shudders at the thought of middle school), but soon enough, michael got him into kpop. at first he was like what? why kpop? they were japanese for crying out loud! tadashi surprised hayate by saying that he had a lot of korean friends back in japan and he used to listen to their music all the time. it was then hayate definitely wanted to do in life. he wanted to be a kpop idol.
☇ ...okay in all honesty, he would rather be called kpop rap god, but idol is easier to say, right?
☇ high school and college were a blur to hayate as he studied enough to have good grades, but still be able to practice his rapping skills. other than his family, michael is hayate's biggest supporter. he even helped him out with auditions and everything. so when hayate got accepted by chrome, he totally didn't cry like a baby (p.s. he actually did for like 3 hours straight). he didn't want to burden his family with having all of them move to south korea, so yolanda and michael came with him for support instead.
