○ at first look, jisoo is a cheerful girl. she always has everyone on their toes with her energy and bluntness. she doesn't like beating around the bush, jisoo will tell you like it is. what's the point in dancing around the subject? just say it whether is hurts someone's feelings for not. she likes to leave her mark on everyone she meets, usually with a witty comeback or blunt observation. even though jisoo is blunt and childish, she is the one to go to for any advice. she can help you get what you need by helping you with persuasion and enthusiasm, and she gives out good advice too. she can persuade and manipulate very well. jisoo very well judges a person by the way they treat her. this usually leads her to have wrong impressions of people and can cause problems in relationships. because of her judging ways, many people are quick to judge her too and they very much gets under jisoo's skin.

○ school wasn't much for jisoo. like above, she was practically a normal girl living a normal life. she had average grades, sometimes getting amazing or horrible grades once in a while. the most interesting part of her past is her friendship with byun baekhyun. they were practically inseparable since the day jisoo saved baekhyun from a bunch of punks. her friendship with baekhyun wasn't the only thing that was interesting. her family was always known to be really close with each other, even their outer family were close to them. that's why she had a close relationship with her cousin yijeong. yes, the same yijeong in the kpop group history. yijeong is like a second brother to jisoo, next to her own dorky brother.
○ when baekhyun entered sm entertainment, jisoo was lonely. someday she might not have baekhyun, so what should she possibly do? she thought about doing what baekhyun did, auditioning for sm the next year. she wasn't accepted and she knows why, she was nervous during her audition and she hadn't even have professional lessons. after the embarrassment, jisoo seeked out help from her cousin. yijeong and the rest of the members of history tutored jisoo whenever they could, soon finding her talent in singing. when they walked in on her singing by herself, they were definitely proud of her.
○ though she didn't audition for a long time. she just didn't feel like she was ready for it yet (that and it was pretty hard to find a company that her parents agreed with). when she got back in contact with baekhyun and getting his opinion on her skills, she finally felt ready to audition. stardust held a small audition in which she passed with flying colors, the judges enjoying her style of rapping immensely. for two slow years, jisoo learned new things, but it didn't deter her from her dream of being an idol just like baekhyun.

○ jisoo met baekhyun when they were younger. it was during her first hapido lesson when they first laid eyes on each other. baekhyun had started lessons a few months back so he was more advanced than the little girl that was jisoo. after one month, jisoo was already on the same level as baekhyun, maybe even better. their instructor noticed how the two always avoided each other or tease to the point of irritation. trying to get the two to be more friendly with each other, he planned a match against each other. baekhyun boasted that he was going to win. lets just say baekhyun didn't win. after losing to a girl that was smaller than him was embarrassing. the match only made things worse. it wasn't until a year passed and baekhyun was being bullied by a group of punks that wandered nearby. without thinking, jisoo used her hapkido knowledge and save baekhyun from the punks. from then on, baekhyun has always looked up to jisoo.
○ years have passed since jisoo saved baekhyun from those punks and they are still the best of friends. they stayed close and in touch, usually texting or hanging out at parks for fun. even when baekhyun entered sm, they were still friends. though their time together was halved, but they still tried to make do. then baekhyun debuted with exo. jisoo definitely remembers that day. for almost five months, they didn't say anything to each other because exo was so popular and baekhyun was too busy. during extended mama era, baekhyun and jisoo finally started to hang out again although less than before. then the whole dating scandal with taeyeon happened. jisoo hadn't been in contact with baekhyun during that time. she felt betrayed, jaelous, and angry. it was then when she realized her feelings towards him were more friendly than she thought. it was when kris' and luhan's departure did baekhyun contacted jisoo again. he was obviously devastated with the departures and not being close to jisoo as before. he apologized to jisoo for being an idiot for not contacting her. pretty much, he confessed about his feelings to jisoo. he actually had been crushing on jisoo since the time she saved him from those punks.
interactions ::
○ since they are busy most of the time, they are always chatting with each other through texting or snapchatting. they love to tease each other, much like how they used to act before they became friends. jisoo is always seen furiously texting baekhyun, annoyed about the littlest things and each of their members think they are so adorable. they argue about the stupidest things and send each other the most pointless pictures. they definitely understand each other.

trainee background :: her two years of training were slow. it was exciting and she learned many new things at first, but after the first year, it was actually really boring. jisoo was one of the few trainees that practiced the most and were the most polite with the instructors so she didn't get in much trouble and didn't have even trouble with anything. during the lull of her training, she was approved for many cf jobs. she had a pretty face that was made for cfs. then her major job of appearing in m&d's mv came around. baekhyun actually got her the job (he begged and pulled some strings with heechul hyung in letting her be the female lead for the mv). he reluctantly agreed and jisoo soon found herself on the set of the mv. jisoo and heechul instantly clicked starting with their obsession with cats. being the lead in the mv got her many job offers in which she declined because she was already doing so many cfs. her popularity rose from the mv and being noticed in the cfs, she was already a fan favorite before she was even considered for axa.
