My Music Revolution

I dunno why, but I thought I would just rant a bit about music and everything.

I think it's strange how my love for music has developed, a long time ago, I used to HATE rapping, I detested it, I thought that it was just guys who would shout to the microphone, swearing and saying random stuff, with no talent. But now rapping is my favourite genre of music, I love rapping myself actually (especially in different languages) and learning a rap off a song, especially in a different language, is so fun and challanging and when I think how difficult it is to get the beat and rhythm right, I wonder how difficult it must've been to learn for the actual artists.

My biggest rap accomplishment is EXO's Two Moons (Chinese Ver, I preferred that version), I learnt the entire thing, including the English part keeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyy and that was fun.

Hmmm, I also learnt Chanyeol's rap in Growl, Kai's beggining rap in Call Me Baby and Kris's English rap in Star (asdfghl I love that song so much). I also learnt parts of B.A.P's 1004 (Angel) and Super Junior's Break Down (asdduwjegrnkdbowqlerdf this is one of my favourite songs ever, maybe on another post I'll put up the fanart I did for it). I want to try and learn Zelo's shocking rap in Warrior (yes the bit when all you hear is swaetsyrdtjyrkngbvd jansori XD) and also try to learn EXO's Tender Love, because I love singing along to the parts I know, so it would be even better if I could learn all of it. I do learn singing parts of k-pop too, like Angel and Break Down, I also learnt the Chorus of Overdose.

I also quite enjoy listening to English songs.

When it comes to English songs I don't listen to rap, with the exception of Hall Of Fame and Little Secrets (both amazing songs if you haven't already listened to them). I don't really listen to any particular bands, I listen to Coldplay once and a while and Take That, maybe some Lady Gaga, I dunno. Oh, I LOVE Jazz! There is an English (well. she's dutch, but she sings in English) Artist I love, and that's Caro Emerald. I love her Jazz songs and along with rap, Jazz is one of my favourite generes and one of the easiest for me to sing (I particularly like Jazz because it's not normally set to exceptionally high notes XD).

Then we go onto Japanese music. I don't really listen to J-pop (I'm sort of put off by the girl bands, there are so many and most of them are half in their MV's which I don't really like to watch, with the exception of SNSD) however I listen to a LOT of anime openings, everybody pray to the anime god for giving us Tokyo Ghouls 'Unravel'.

*prays*

Okay, done, also I listen to Vocaloid from time to time, although I'm more into the low singers like Gumi and Luka, I don't really like voices like Miku and Rin, although they have beautiful voices.

I am in my shcool choir, I play the steelpans and a bit of piano. XD

Ah. I find chanyeol's parts so hard to rap. And rapping in General is so hard. But I try to rap bits from here and there. One. Chanyeol's deep voice just kill me. Is it possible to have a crush on just someone's voice?
I like BTS. They do a lot of rap but my fav part from their songs are their choruses.
Anime openings (well, most of them) are really good. I love Unravel. And for some weird reason, I'm addicted to Naruto: The lady's opening song called "silhouette".
I wish I could participate in music events. I'm just secretly a singer wannabe and no one knows I can sing.
