Have you ever felt like you invest your time into something and it doesn't really pay off? That's kind of how I feel with my stories right now...

As a writer you think that the response you get will be rewarding enough. But sometimes I feel like it's not. I don't feel like that all the time but sometimes I feel like I sink pretty low.

I don't know if my stories are good or not a lot of the times. Because on this site, people look for fluff and more than a good plot. It's hard to know if your work pays off when you barely hear from the subscribers. I used to be a silent reader but I have learned not to be because those comments and feedback are literally the only reward a writer gets. It's not like we are paid to keep cranking out chapters.

Do you Guys think it's just me being insecure?
