Honestly, this doesn't really bother me much. However, some days, it annoys me more than others.

 The thing about AFF is that unless you're writing about EXO, not even SHINee, DBSK, or BTS (although BTS is widely popular here nowadays), you're practically irrelavant. I'm overexaggerating a bit because I'm annoyed, but still. Like, every other day I see that one of the most upvoted or featured stories is an EXO fic, it's usually always an EXO fic. Which, that's fine. There's nothing wrong with that. Although, I can't tell you how many times I've seen the same plot and theme over and over again...

 The problem is that usually, the fic that is featured or most upvoted . I'm not just talking grammar or punctuation-wise either. I'm talking about plot-wise, too. Like, they are always stories that seem like zero energy was put into them. They're unrealistic. The layout in which they are typed is crap. I'm being a bit harsh right now, but it doesn't change the fact that it's true. 

 Don't get me wrong, I have seen some decent stories become featured or most upvoted. It's just that I haven't seen enough. Let's all be honest here, AFF is full of A LOT of trash. This website is notorious for it. There are good writers, but they are all hidden in the woodworks. You have to do a lot of searching around to find them, and usually, in my opinion, when you do, it's worth it. This site has a lot of pros and cons. Regardless, I enjoy it. I like how this website works, which is why I post my stories here, rather than somewhere else. 

 I'm not saying I'm like one of the best writers ever on here or anything like that. I'm most certainly not (Go take a look at my several unfinished fics, for instance. Haha, or even take a look at the first fic I ever published here). I don't want to sound vain, but I do honestly think that I am at least a decent writer. Not only that, but I take my writing seriously. Fanfiction  is just my guilty pleasure. I love writing this stuff, but I do write outside of this wonderful world. 

 I dunno. All of that has been really bugging me lately. The oppa oppa saranghae EXO- fangirls pretty much run this place. As do trash fics. One of these days, I hope to get featured and show people a different side of AFF. The perfect story. I'll write it one of these days! :).
