TRAINEE EXPERIENCE: Jei trained for a year in bighit entertainment, why would she leave after a year? the company signed her up for trainee exchange program, she was extremely talented but her rumors are getting out of hand. It wasn't because she was an ex-member of Girl's Day and people think that she's a traitor for leaving. Jei has a personality of easily getting bored, she dated so many guys people can no longer get a track of who they are. Those guys aren't just normal guys, they are idols. Her most recent relationship is 2AM's Jinwoon, he was the only one who isn't a dancer that she dated. It was a loss for Bighit Entertainment, but she didn't have the choice. It was better than to be kicked. She left Bighit entertainment, but not the people important to her. And left for another company.

In JYP Entertainment they made her audition again, it was a test whether or not she would fit to be a trainee. Not even her experience of being an idol for 2 years wasn't enough.  She rapped to Yoon Mirae's Pay Day, Park Jinyoung was impressed but since she used to be a main dancer for another group. They also heard that she was a ballerina. They were curious about her dancing skills, they asked her to dance. She knew that if she would show her skills, she would do her best. She hasn't danced to a difficult routine for a long time. Not minding her condition and went with her pride. She danced to a really difficult routine. She didn't even finish when she felt great pain on her body. Park Jinyoung complimented her, she was accepted into JYP. She didn't even get out of the JYP building when she passed out due to the pain. JB from got7 saw her and immediately helped her. After that incident she became close to the GOT7 member but she didn't allow herself to date anymore if she failed again to stop her "playgirl" self, she would never get the chance to debut anymore. She started training in 2012, 3 years later she finally gets to debut as the leader and main rapper of Melodie, it was quite a great paradox to her childhood convinction of doing anything opposite to what her brother is doing. She wants to help everyone and anyone who needs her help and will even put their needs first than her own needs. That's why she is the group's eomma, like a mother she likes to take care of her other members, she would even do household chores and cook for her members just as long as they are feeling comfortable.
She is also very affectionate, she would just hug and kiss people, and prove to them how much she loves you but often times these affections go to the wrong people so she ends up getting hurt. 

She is good in organizing things,she cannot sit still if she see things that are in a mess.but often times she has the tendancy to fix other people's lives than her own life, she wants to improve other people's life than her own. →She is Gdragon's younger sibling
→ She is a ballerina since 3 years old, she only stopped doing ballet after getting injured, after doing a pas de chat routine. She landed awkwardly,came down on her left leg, her quadriceps muscle shoved her kneecap out of place. She was only 12 years old that time, the therapy was long and she knew she won't fully heal. That injury eventually triggered to her suffering with Chronic Pain
→ She is a former member of Girl's Day with the stage name Jihae, she was the Main Dancer of the group, she left in 2012 because she could no longer fulfill her position after acquiring Chronic Pain. She feels episodic pain in her once injured leg every time she tries to exert effort. That involves having to dance too much.
→ She has masculine name, when asked how her parent's named her, it was because she was named after an older brother Jibeom that was never born into this world, he died in her mother's womb.

BACKGROUND:
She was compared all her life to a man people consider today as a rap genius and a gift to the korean music industry, Gdragon. That didn't stop her from loving rap music or music in general but there was something she was better at than him,she was better than him in was dancing, she couldn't remember the first time she moved to the rhythm of the music, but she could remember her mom telling her she's been dancing since 3, she was enrolled into ballet ever since then. If Kwon Jiyong used to train in SM Entertainment when he was little, the company too offered her a chance to become their trainee, but she decided to just focus on dancing. She hated being compared to him, so she'd rather not follow his footsteps too. This went on for the rest of her life, or so she believes. When she was 12 Years old while practicing for a routine Jiaebom did an awkward turn and landed on her foot, she instantly out because of the pain and woke up the next day with the doctor's words telling her that she might not be able to dance the same way again, the therapy was long and there was no assurance that she would fully heal. Since that injury she never got to dance as before but it didn't stop her from dancing, she stopped going to her ballet lessons and she eventually ventured out to other dances and started training in hiphop,urban,pop and lock. When she was 15 years old back in 2008 she was scouted into a small company Dream Tea Entertainment after a dance showcase of her dance school. Why would she join a small company away from her brother who's already GDRAGON of Bigbang, that's exactly the reason why. She wanted to be away from her brother.

After 2 Years of training in 2010 she debutted with 4 other girls to make up Girls Day, She went with the name Jiae and she was the main dancer of the group. Only 17 years old but she got to debut in a kpop group. She was one of the youngest to debut during her time and people didn't recognize her as GD's little sister,that was she was asking for. Everything that she asked for is finally getting realized.

 She was happy to debut with her unnies, but her injury in the past finally took a tool on her. Everytime she dances and pushes herself too hard she feels incredible pain that won't just stop for a few minutes. She went to the doctor and got diagnosed with chronic pain. She didn't want to be a burden to them. She left the company in 2011.

She thought that it was really the end of her,she roamed the streets of seoul. Contemplating what she would do now. Her feet took her to a place she would never imagine to be. An Underground hiphop club.

The people,their cheers,the beat and their lyrics. It was nauseating for her. People looked at her, but they didn't recognize her. The hosts were looking for someone to challenge one of the best rappers yet in the club. Yoongi. People were crowding and she was swept infront, thinking that she took on the challenge she was forced to be on stage and face Yoongi.

 

Instead  of backing down, she took the mic and for the first time in her life she did something that what her brother is good at. She rapped freestyle to Yoongi's suprise her lyrics were great and she was good for someone new.

Since that day, Jei hang out with Yoongi and Namjoon. They became good friends, the three of them rapped together as a team. They were also together when they were asked by someone from Bighit Entertainment to go into the company, without even auditioning. Was she even ready to go back into that kind of world again? Rapping healed her, dancing seemed to be like a memory to her anymore.

Yoongi is a person devoted to his art and work, he started from the bottom and experienced so many hardships in life, and now that he is slowly getting to the top he still remains the same humble Yoongi that he was before. INTERACTIONS: Yoongi is the ultimate romantic guy you would read in books, the cliched Prince Charming is real. Yoongi never judged her past of dating so many guys and leaving them once she gets bored, he never stereotyped her to be just like her brother Gdragon. In fact he symphatizes with her, he feels with her specially when she literally gets hurt when her chronic pain hits her. He tries his best to be there for her may it not be physically but he would call her and calm her down by singing to her music was always something that healed the both of them, that's why he ended up writing Let Me Know for her also because of how feels with her, well more like how he feels for her.
