THEY'RE NOT~!!

It's a component needed for the NFC feature, this feature is bundled with almost all of the recent Samsung devices to-date, some people can use it for Wireless Transaction (direct transaction from phone to ATM, or other compatible payment facilities), or for a much faster phone-to-phone data transfer (much like Bluetooth, but much faster)..

Do not remove it!

And, if Samsung ever dares to spy on us, they won't even have to attach anything physical, they can modify the Android software itself (for spying purposes, which is much more easier, much more hidden, and costs lesser)..

By the way, this is what those people spreading the fake rumor are talking about (which is actually the component used by the NFC technology)..

And, this is how a microchip looks like (they're wrongfully using the term "microchip" when referring to that NFC component)..

Yes, it's really small.. hence the name "microchip"..
