+ personality : Soeun may not think so, but she inspires people around her. Just by listening to their problems and sometimes gives useful advice (and she tries). That's another trait that is positive, she is friendly towards people she knows and doesn't know. She'll always want to make new friends, but is doubtful with that trait with older adults. And she is hard working, after 8 years of long training she knows that hard work can get things done and still works hard.

+ background&life now : Soeun was born as Kwak Ah Young and raised in LA and the younger sister to NU'EST's Aron. She goes by Soeun both in the United States and South Korea. She didn't have much of a normal childhood since she moved to South Korea at a young age to train and hope to debut in Korea. She first trained at SM Entertainment and was promoised to debut with their upcoming group (which was f(x) ) in 2009. But got dropped towards the end, but she still decide to train there for 3 more years until she wanted to look for a new company.
The reason she wanted to look for a new company was because the staff at SM Entertainment for now looking like a visual and put her down until she cried in front of the trainees. They also for being a bad vocalist and trained her till her vocal cords couldn't talk anymore. She actually felt like going back to the U.S. and to finish her education there. But Aron went to visit her and to give her advice despite him debuting first and trained less then her. Thanks to Aron, Soeun is here in South Korea still and has a chance to debut with W.O.H.
When she graduates she wants to attend Hongik University to study fine arts.
