My Asianfanfics Birthday: Thank You Asianfanfics!
It was an hour from midnight when I had just noticed that I had this small present icon by my username and I just had some time to write this thank you blog to Asianfanfics just in time just as Cinderella did!
First of all, I must say what a life saver asianfanfics is to me or rather it is a part of my life like a wedded partner. It started from me by just reading, because I was obsessed with Kpop and liked imagining to be with my favorite K-Pop Idols, but then it just got deeper.
The writers on here started to make me become indulged in their stories be it fluff, angst, or even comedy, but it was mostly the angst tag that was almost magnetic to me.
I've always been a sentimental and even an emotional person, because I suffered from indifference and loneliness. I had a questioning mind and people looked down on me because I questioned.
Somehow, I escaped from writing poetry to writing stories where my characters were able to understand the emotions I have within myself but even to a greater extent.
Asianfanfics gave me the key to unleashing those emotions and discovering things I would have never learned without it.
Even my literary improved over the three years I've been here and I saw the improvement in my grades that went from an C to an A. I even make the highest grades in my writing exams and I knew that it was my own talent that granted to me to have such grades, but I have to go up a step higher that it was this website that made me realize I had this talent and to perfect it.
Simply because of the emotions, skills and even the satisfaction of release I thank Asianfanfics and look forward to more years being here to write more fanfics!
