BACKGROUND +

" I'm Madison Wayne, Madison Wayne is me..."

Madison Helena Wayne's life had never been that easy since she's born and raised in Gotham City. (Nobody's safe in Gotham City). Even though her father is a well-known eccentric yet kind of cocky and used to be a playboy billionaire philanthropist, the prince of Gotham as so what the Gotham citizens would call her father, she still have problems on the streets or at school. Hell, even their Wayne Manor. She grew up having to deal with bullies at school who used to call her "Rich " and boys that actually wants to get in her pants. (She still have best friends though). She's oblivious of her own beauty, having inherited both her parents perfect genes, and her own inexhaustible wealth, which she would inherit from her family's huge company. She doesn't really know why her father had always been so protective over her all the time ever since she was a little girl. She thought that it having no freedom over her father's over protectiveness.

" Dad is Batman? "

One day, she stumbled upon the Batcave. She had always listened to people talking about Batman on the streets. Heck, she doesn't even gave a damn about superheroes before and sometimes would make fun of them. A guy who dresses up as a bat clearly has issues. But never in her mind thought that her own father, Bruce Wayne is actually Batman.

She was terrified at the findings because she knows what superheroes would go through everyday, having to patrol the streets, fighting those bad guys and all. And that is exactly what her father had dealt with everyday. For a few months, she doesn't really want to talk to Bruce about it until later, her mother talked her out. She slowly learned to accept the fact that her father is the vigilante with bat ears and a black cape that had been almost everyone's hero. The Caped Crusader, the Dark Knight is really her father.

" Losing someone you love the most totally hurts like hell "

After a year of finding out the Dark Knight's secret, at the age of 15, her mother was murdered by the Clown Prince of Crime, The Joker. As a result of the incident, she shuts everyone out of her world. Even her father can't do anything, he was devastated at the lost too. Alfred Pennyworth and Chase Kent were the ones who was always there to help her out on whatever she needs. "There must've been something I could do", Madison once said to her father after three weeks of Elaine's death. "No, there wasn't anything you could've done to stop what happened but there is something you can do now, you can be strong. Be strong, I promise you I will find the man who did this", he replied, recalling the words that Commisioner Jim Gordon once said to him on his parents's tragic death.

" There's nothing I do better than revenge "

After a month and a half of grieving and mourning, an idea dawned on her mind. She wanted to avenge the loss of her mother. That's when she met Grayson, Boy Wonder a.k.a the first Robin, Batman's faithful sidekick, the present Nightwing (who was actually supposed to be her adopted brother because Bruce adopted him long time ago when was still Robin and long before Bruce was even married yet but Madison never had the chance to meet him since he's in Bludhaven, guarding it) and Barbara Gordon, the Batgirl, the daughter of Commisioner Gordon. She convinced them to actually train her everyday after school. And so, they did without Bruce knowing. She created her own superhero suit and called herself "Dark Demon" just to give the feel of something powerful to it. Plus, she's quite demonic herself and she doesn't want to be the Batgirl 2.0 because it feels like she's just her dad's sidekick if she ever used the name. At the first night of being a vigilante, she actually stumbled upon Batman but she ran away. Afraid of her father finding out the truth, Grayson and Barbara Gordon might get a nice scolding from Bruce if he ever knew.

" Dad, unfortunately, it's the truth... "

After awhile, she slowly left clues to her father that it was her, the Dark Demon. Her father found out and he had loathed the idea. He grounded her, he even actually asked for extra securities for her. She hated it, obviously. She lost her freedom. But on that night, she got kidnapped by none other, The Joker himself. The Joker managed to sucessfully breakthrough the extra securities Bruce had put on Madison's room. Batman came to her rescue and saved her. From that day on, Bruce gave her the green light to be Dark Demon if it means she can train to be stronger and protect herself in the future. But to him, even if she's all grown up, she's still his little baby girl.

" Who is she?  "

Even so, she was actually not the real daughter of Elaine Wayne. Bruce Wayne's may be her biological father but Elaine wasn't her real mother. Elaine married Bruce when Madison was only 2 years of age. That's why she doesn't really know it. Bruce married Elaine because he wanted to fill the emptiness in his heart (for his lover who would never come back). Having to lose his parents, Thomas and Martha Wayne, at such a young age in a murder incident, he knows what it feels to have no parents to take care of him, to love him, to watch him grow and that he knows Madison needs someone to be called "mother" and to be her 'best friend'. Bruce had a lover once, right before Elaine, her name is Selina Kyle (a.k.a Catwoman). He had actually slept with Selina Kyle once or twice before. She was Bruce's lover. Selina went missing after knowing she was pregnant, leaving Bruce broken-hearted for awhile until he met Elaine Clifford, his new personal assistant in Wayne Enterprises.

Madison was left on the doorstep of Wayne Manor right after she was born in Selina's apartment in one of Gotham City's worst neighbourhoods which is Old Town, and left Bruce clueless of whose the infant was. Bruce actually took her in because he doesn't feel like sending her to the orphanage and brought her up, naming her Madison Helena Wayne which he got the names from a few researchs of the meaning behind them with the help of Alfred, some books and the internet, so that Madison would live up to her name. Like, Madison meant "son of a mighty warrior" (although she's a girl) and "mighty in battle" while Helena is a classic bland name and it sounded more like Selina. Never in his mind would thought that Selina is Madison's mother. He did research over the years and found out about Selina as Madison's real mother and he had talked her out of it once but she refuses to admit it to Madison. Selina made a promise that she can only say she's a friend of Bruce and that's the only way she will ever get to get close to Madison althogh she's still longing for him. Bruce gave in and accepted the promise. Selina left her to Bruce because she knows she can't be a good mother, since she calls herself a criminal by stealing jewels as the feline fatale Catwoman and she thought she won't be a nice idol for Madison to look up to although she walks a fine line between hero and villain. She thought that leaving Madison to Bruce would always be the right and the best choice she had ever made. She thought that one day, when the right time comes, she'd tell Madison, herself.

Since then on, she watches Madison grew up from afar and she sometimes does visit the Wayne Manor but only as Bruce's close friend which Bruce usually gets heart broken over it. Madison loves talking to Selina about lots of things like boy problems, school, Chase Kent but she feels like Selina is trying to get Bruce to fall for her when Madison knew Bruce loves Elaine and honestly, Madison had no clues of Bruce's and Selina's past. She had the sense but she still hasn't had any evidence, so, she keeps it to herself. Madison grew up to believe that Elaine was her real mother, to really love her so much that she wanted to avenge her loss to The Joker. She had once or twice found a picture of Selina in her father's Batcave or laptop but she doesn't know who Selina was to Bruce. She had noticed the way her father used to look at the pictures, it's not the way how Bruce looks at Elaine. To this day, she still hasn't had any clues of her own biological mother. 

" Tata, back to school! "

After two years of dealing with bad guys and becoming a well-known vigilante, her father came up to her one night to tell her that she had to attend school again. She doesn't care much since she's kind of a book nerd but Bruce told her it wasn't an ordinary school, it is the Superhero Academy that had just opened up. Bruce wants her to attend the academy and train more. Madison agreed right away although she would miss Bruce, Alfred and Chase then. 

In the academy, she had always wanted to get close to Ophelia since Ophelia, too, has some kind of martial arts skills. She had always thought to approach her but was too shy because she could see that Ophelia is much more powerful and stronger than her. She wanted Ophelia to tutor her in unarmed combat skills. She, too, is very intelligent as she would mostly spends her time in the library to read up on informations and school stuffs.

WEAPON(S) + Her father (and with the help of Lucius Fox, chair president of Wayne Enterprises and inexhaustible wealth) provides her with many kinds of advanced technologies of weapons of her choice including, nunchucks, bo staff, kendo stick, caltrops, stun gun, flashbangs, her own kind of Batarangs and tear gas. That doesn't mean she can use killing guns, still. Her father hated killing. Remember, no guns, no kills. She had her own detective vision goggles if she ever had to fight during the night, just like Batman's. Her father even provides her with her own motorcycle that was almost the same as the Batpod and she totally thinks that it's the most badass thing she had.
 
ABILITIES + Darkness and shadows are her allies. Like the Caped Crusader himself, she gets in the dark to hide herself from the villains. Truly Bruce's daughter. She is an excellent athlete and marksman. She is good in gymnastics since she is quite flexible. She is also a master at martial arts and hand-to-hand combat, thanks to Boy Wonder and Batman. Plus, she could do all that in 5 inches high heels too which usually amazes Chase. She had brilliant deductive skills. She trained very hard everyday after school. Even if she was injured from training, she won't stop because she will never give up. She's stealthy as a ninja. She's good in breaking and entering when necessary. She doesn't have any superhuman abilities since both her parents are normal humans too.

Weaknesses? - She had weakness for animals, especially the cat since her biological mother is the Catwoman. She falls in love easily and if she ever likes someone, her guards against the world will go down. She is weak whenever anyone tries to brought the "mother" topic and she dislikes being rude to people even if that person was only a year older. Totally well-mannered but she can sass someone up if she wants to. She totally will feel guilty after doing something bad even if it's the right thing to do. That is one of her biggest weakness and she hates it. She wants to to be able to be a vigilante like her father but she doesn't want to feel guilty after beating up a thief or two. But one more, she hates when Rough Ryder tries to join her in any battle/fight. She loves comparing herself with her dad and may result in her failing to beat up bad guys. She's bad at making decisions.

PERSONALITY +

She is that extroverted girl in a room full of people. That's something she got from growing up around Elaine. Bruce won't be too extroverted of course. She does not adopt her father's cocky side though since she's pretty generous. She would always have a novel or two in her backpack, just so she could read anything when she's bored. She's the type to keep her problems all to herself, thinking that she'd be a burden if she does tell anyone so but she'll always 'explodes'. So, that means, she'll get angry for no apparent reasons at time and sometimes causing people arround her to be yelled at. She'll throw tantrums too. 

She had a tough time in trying to trust people because she was once been lied by her own cousin who actually wanted to get in her pants and how her father never told her about Batman and other stuffs. Anyone can betray anyone. She's a bit intimidating and a little hardcore. She's quite the rebellious troublemaker herself though. She's a confident young woman as committed to justice as her father. She's too intelligent for her age as she has very high IQ level just like Bruce Wayne's. She's quite unpredictable. To her, the world isn't all about black and white, she sees them in shades of gray. She's caring, loving and nurturing to those she actually care around her. She's a woman who doesn't take from anyone. Not afraid to slap a rude person or two. She can be a bit stubborn too at times. She's stoical. She's a feisty heroine who's more than just a pretty face. That's what she gets from being Bruce's and Selina's daughter, their good and bad traits. She's a lot like Selina that made Bruce would always thinks of her whenever he sees Madison.

She loves music with passion and had always wanted to be a singer when she's grown up although Bruce wants her to follow his footsteps in making Wayne Enterprises much better. She can play the guitar and the piano profesionally. Her father bought her an acoustic guitar when she was 12 and they had a grand piano back at the Manor. Music soothes her always whenever she's upset. She would always bring along her earphones and iPod wherever she goes. The iPod was the last gift she had from her mother, Elaine and she totally cherishes it. She'll get too emotional when someone mentions Elaine. She's very anxious and she would often worry about even the smallest things. Despite that, she's charismatic and could attract people's attentions on her, although she can be a bit y at times. She's good in solving problems that involve crimes, she gets it from her father.

She has a competitive side on her. She's very optimist but after the loss of her mother, she hated her optimistic self. She gets annoyed easily and would always stays quiet when she gets annoyed but her expressions won't hide. So, if she's suddenly so quiet, you'll know that you've annoyed her.  She might even give you the death glare. Her ego is as high as the Statue of Liberty and she won't back down from anything. She totally hates being forced into doing things that she doesn't want to do. She's strong-willed and would never easily give up if she ever failed on anything. She's really ambitious on where she would stand in the future or so. She has a very clear mindset in that. She's quite open-minded. She's loyal.

She knows when it is to be serious and when is the time they can joke around. She's the type to think before she talks. She's dependable because she keeps people's promises. She is also gregarious and tends to love meeting new people. She's hardworking and joyful. She's also reliable. She's a sympathetic and an upbeat person. She's a hopeless romantic, all those years of reading novels like "The Notebook", "A Walk To Remember" and "Dear John" made her so. She easily falls in love and that what makes her totally weak. She's a er for romantic love. When she's herself, she would try her best to never let her heart out on her sleeve. She's very sneaky and adaptable, thanks to her Catwoman mother. She's quite of a flirt too but only to Chase. Someone like Ophelia and Mary is one of her ideal type of a best friend though : )

PERSONALITY + his name is actually quite unique. Chase meant "huntsman" and Ryder meant "horsemen, rider". he's like a hunter, everyone could see that in him. he's the type of guy that Madison can never ever truly say "no" to. he's very observant and has a good sense of humor. he is well-mannered. he didn't really mind embarrassing himself in public although he felt like hiding in a cave sometimes. he's brash and outspoken. he's an uncontrollable frenzy which he can be crazy at times when he reaches his limits, like if someone pushes him too far, he could kill without remorse. only certain people can calm him down usually. if he uses too much of his powers, his body could go numb and that's when Ruff takes over while he slowly recovers. he loves music with passion as much as Madison loves it too. they would sometimes hang out in Madison's bedroom, just playing with Madison's guitar and piano. he can totally play the guitar profesionally. sometimes they even had a duet. he loves to tease Madison a lot. he's not as genius as Madison though and he was always forced by Clark to be tutored by Madison on Friday's. he's responsible in taking care of every one around him and very caring too. he is strict. he respects people around him especially the elders. despite that, his ego is totally high and he's a bit of a ert too. he also inherited his father's superhuman abilities like those heat vision he has and his renowned x-ray vision, flight ability, super-strength, super-speed, freeze breath, super-hearing,  near-invulnerability and healing factors. ooh! He even has a dog named, Ruff (I don't know how Clark gets it) given to him on his 5th birthday and it's no ordinary dog. it's a flying golden retriever and it's quite aggressive when it comes to fighting off crimes with Chase Kent. (since there's an applicant's love interest as Daniel Kent, Daniel can be Chase's older brother, just saying : ) ).

RELATIONSHIP + They aren't really fond of showing their affections for each other to the public. They are like cats and dogs sometimes because both of them have ego as high as the Empire State building. Both of them tries to be the dominant but Madison would always give in and be the submissive one. They fought over most of things, earning shouts from either Clark or Bruce sometimes that their father would think that Batman's daughter and Superman's son can never be together since Clark and Bruce themselves are that way. Bruce and his cockiness makes Clark annoyed of him and Bruce hated when Clark wants to lend him a hand. But, Madison and Chase proved them wrong. (Sort of if it's not for the slight little arguements they made). They didn't agree on anything much but despite their differences, they have one important thing in common; they are crazy about each other. 

HISTORY +

They met at 5-6 years old when Clark came to meet Bruce over some secret business which neither of those two knew. Chase was forced to spend time with Madison which he thought wasn't going to be that bad but oh hell no, she's scary!. He hates it. They fought alot that Bruce and Clark had to calm them down because even Alfred doesn't know what to do. Growing up, Chase had been getting used to the Wayne Manor because of his father's business with Bruce Wayne. Growing up meant that they had to be matured and they didn't fought as much as they used to do when they were kids. Chase had actually starting to like Madison. Bruce didn't really care much when Chase came to visit even without Clark with him since he, too, once had a child hood best friend, Rachel Dawes. But he kind of disagree a bit since Chase is Superman's son. (I mean, c'mon! Batman vs Superman!). 

Chase clearly remembers it now still on Summer '10, he had fallen for the brunette beauty. He was in denial at first but as time passes, he really had fallen in love with her. Madison didn't know that. Chase had always been there for her when Alfred nor Bruce can't. He remembered sending her flowers everyday or he would bring them with him whenever he came to visit after Elaine's tragic death, to remind her that even if life had been difficult and she felt like dying, there are still beautiful reasons to live and that his reason was her. He would do anything to protect Madison. All Madison knew is that Chase Kent had been the first guy not from her family that had actually appreciate her and that she is in love with him.

"I had seen the way he looks at you, Miss Wayne and I know that it's no ordinary. His way of looking at you is the look of love and I've seen it in your father before too. I trust Chase and felt grateful that he helped you gain your strength again when both me and Master Wayne can't, Miss Wayne", Alfred had said to her the night before she and Chase had their first kiss and Madison remembers it clearly as if it was just yesterday. That was one of the few things that had kept Madison and Chase from straying and falling apart. One thing, they hid their vigilante alter ego from each other's knowledge. So, coming to the Superhero Academy, they both were quite shocked of each other. Madison hides herself from him often and he would always tries to convince her that it was alright, they both will be alright and that he loves her dearly whether she's Madison Wayne or Dark Demon.

OTHER +

Chase inherits his mother's eyes and hair color but his father's handsome looks. He inherits his father's abilities too, which is absorbing the Sun's power and turn it into his super-strength ability, super speed ability which is he is able to run as fast as he could (but less fast that The Flash of course), x-ray vision ability (like the one in Smallville), near-invulnerability, freeze breath, healing factors, superhuman hearing and also his eyes that can shoot out heat vision. He also inherits his father's flying abilities on which he still needs it to be taken control of and a lot of practice. His protectiveness is totally Clark's traits.

His weaknesses? Like Superman, kryptonite makes him weak. Madison makes him weak too. There's something in her that made him feel weak in the knees. He doesn't really like Madison at first when they met at 5-6 years old. But he doesn't actually know why but he had grown to fall for the coffee-coloured eyes brunette girl. Since he's an observant type of person, he observes Madison and he knew why she had been a tantrum mess. Ever since Elaine Wayne was murdered, Madison had shut herself from everyone and starting from that, she kept every problem to herself because the person she had always shared her problems with is now dead. That's why she would explode into her awful tantrums. Since then on, he and Alfred helped bringing her back to the outside world. That's when Madison knew she loves Chase, really loves him.

They didn't properly go out on dates or whatsoever but they don't really care of that. ln fact, they're crazy of each other. Even if they found each other quite annoying, but when they are farther apart, Madison can't help but to miss Chase so bad and Chase can't help but to miss Madison and that's why they fit each other like a puzzle piece, completing each other's empty spaces.

Some facts on these two:

+ Chase's and Madison's first kiss (the first time they confessed their love through the kiss) was when they were 16-17 under a mistletoe in the Wayne Manor during a Christmas party which Bruce didn't agree on putting it up but Madison made him to.

+ after the death of Elaine, Chase had always brings her flowers everytime he came to visit the Manor to remind her that even if life is difficult, there's still many beautiful reasons to live.

+ Chase actually begged Bruce to let him take Madison on a Ferris Wheel date which was their first proper date.

+ Madison would call him "a " or "a loser" whenever they fought but Chase can't bring himself to say anything usually even if Madison had to be that harsh.

+ They sometimes would take a ride on Chase's Harley Davidson motorbike whenever Madison had a tough time and that was just enough for her.

+ Ruff, Chase's dog, only likes certain people and lucky for Madison, Ruff is very tame around her.

+ he had played and sang to Parachute's "Kiss Me Slowly" using Madison's guitar in her room on her 17th birthday which earned him their second kiss.
