personality ; She is born into a wealthy family of four. Her parent taught her to be obedient and a proper lady. She did what she is told and ended being the kind of girl that cannot stand up for herself and goes with the flow. Her childhood is centered around her parents' expectations and has always been like that throughout middle school. She is very quiet, especially at school and nobody notices her existence. Her older brother, Jin Woo, by a year always gets bullied by the other students. Never once has she ever helped him to stop the bullying. Due to her fear she felt scared to defend her brother and get hurt herself. Their parents had given up on her brother because he never got good grades and respected their parents. Her brother was neglected. At the beginning of high school her brother ran away and her parents did not bother to try and did him. Also at the beginning of high school, she fell in love with Dasoni's Goodbye. Through this song she realized her dream to become a K-Pop star and loved to sing and dance. She became more outgoing and bubbly; she also became more persistent in getting her parents to allow her to joing Yedang Entertainment. She made an agreement with her parents that if she does not debut in three years she will quit and do whatever they want. They agreed and she joined Yedang in her second year of high school after passing a private audition. Her second goal in becoming a K-Pop star is to find her missing brother.

life as a trainee ; After getting into Yedang she started to have more pressure, like schoolwork and competition in the company. At school there's a lot of intelligent students and she's one of them but she started to fall behind in her grades due to her hectic schedule. Being independent was new to her since she was born into a affluent family and had servants serve her. It troubled her to take care of herself. Every day after school she had to rush to the company so she could start training for the monthly evaluations. Since she wanted the CEO to recognize her abilities and debut her, she worked very hard until late hours. Almost every night she did not have enough sleep so it was often for her to fall asleep in class. Luckily, she had Jin Seo so she did not have to worry about not copying down the notes for tests and homework. However, the lack of sleep and stress began to make her very upset so she started to smoke. Smoking was her outlet and she started to lose hope in debuting within three years. Since she tends to keep things to herself and pretends to be strong, Jin Seo never knew about her smoking due to the pressure. However, she started to become more optimistic after meeting Dong Joon, who helped her through her depression.

first meeting & interactions ; It was 3:00 AM on a weekday and Elle was smoking in one of the dance practice rooms, in secret. Dong Joon was originally going to go home after finishing filming for a movie but then remembered that he forgot his phone in one of the company's bathrooms and returned to the comapny to get it. He knew that the company was closed so he snuck in through a secret open window and smelled something like smoke in one of the dance practice rooms'. Curious, he opened the door of where the smell came from and the lights. Shocked, he found Elle smoking and Elle, who was also very surprised immediately told him to get out. Dong Joon was a guy that had a father that smoked and did drugs, so he started to fight Elle for her pack of cigarettes. The fight went on for quite a while until they both became tired, and Dong Joon sat down beside Elle. After a long time Dong Joon finally broke the silence between them and started to tell Elle about his dad, who died from lung cancer. Dong Joon's testimony touched Elle's heart and she started to understand that she should not be doing this, she should be working hard and be positive about her future. She cannot die before achieving her dreams and so from that day on she stopped smoking once and for all, and became friends with Dong Joon, as well as fall for him.

future relationship ; They started dating a year after her debut but the media never found out even after seven years. They will get married after then both turned 28 (internationally) after dating for seven years and after she found her brother.
