ODD THOMAS
"I might see dead people..but then by God, I do something about it."

Just a simple movie that caught my interest.

I wouldn't have thought that this movie would be that nice since it started off so plain. It's about Odd Thomas, yes that's the name of the weird-looking guy, who can see and communicate with dead people in spite of them losing the capability to talk. With his peculiar skill, he can be able to solve crime mysteries. Until August 14 comes and a mysterious man shows up to town with a gluttonous craving to eat foods and what's more interesting about this man is that, a troop of scawny doglike monsters keep following him wherever he goes. These scawny doglike monsters will only follow someone who has a high possibility to commit something bad and this is the first time for Thomas to witness a gang of these creatures to mob someone. He followed the man and discovered that something terrible would happen at the following day. The only clue that led him to speculate this kind of thing comes from a missing page of August 15 from a typical calendar. This marked as the start of his journey with his childhood friend named Stormy. I shall stop right here now because I don't want to spoil furthermore. 

I had watched it with my cousin and it couldn't stop surprising us. I mean, there are some scenes that are 'gaspable' (dunno if this word does exist). The ending is ugh- a bit painful for me. You should watch it so you would know why I reacted like this. Ugh~ Just ugh. I didn't expect it coming.

This movie is worth a try to watch.

I am looking forward to read the novel so soon.
