I think Lay has a lot of confidence, especially when he's on stage and especially when he's on Chinese television. That sort of confidence makes him someone that doesn't care about what other people think. Lay also has a really y/sensual quality when he dances. That, plus his unchanging clueless expression made him the perfect candidate for my dog turned human character in "Stray".  I was thinking about Kai and Xiumin but Lay's dimple won me over lol
