So I am absolutely in love with Starship's new rookie group, MONSTA X. I watched NO.MERCY and was so excited when all of my favorites were made members of the group. I'm incredibly pleased with how quickly they debuted (unlike YG who still has yet to debut iKON) and the fact that they're debut mini album is really well done!

Now let's talk about the members...

Jooheon, the fierce rapper with an adorable eye smile. Shownu, the slightly dorky but handsome leader. Kihyun, the sweet vocalist. Minhyuk, the seemingly non-stop ball of energy. Wonho, the man with great abs and an attractive voice. Hyungwon, the quiet and slightly awkward guy with a warm smile. And last is my favorite of all... I.M, the deep-voiced maknae who is an absolute cutie.

All of them are adorable dorks and I absolutely love each and every one of them. I.M is still my favorite though because he was the one who really stole my heart during NO.MERCY. For the first bit of his time on NM he was so alone because the others felt so frustrated and angry about the circumstances around his entrance to the show... I was so sad when they showed the interviews with the other members, all of them saying how they didn't even want to look at him let alone be friends with him or get to know him. I was so happy when Jooheon began to bridge the gap between them and allowed Changkyun to open up about his own feelings towards them and express his desire to grow closer to all of them. And now here we are, almost a week into their debut, and you can see just how much things have changed since then. All of the guys who claimed they'd never be friends with Changkyun now play around with him and treat him as a precious member of the team (I love his interactions with all of them, he's such a cuddler- especially with Hyungwon and Wonho from what I've seen).

In short I really look forward to watching them grow into the awesome force I think they'll be and see more of them in variety shows (I loved the first epiosde of Deokspatch X and can't wait for their Weekly Idol episode).
