APPEARANCE » Her signature brunette waves is pretty much the hairstyle she wears everyday, but if not, she styles it to impress (but most of the time, she's a brunette and never really liked dying her hair different colours). Her skin is quite pale with barely any signs of aging, almost no foundation or concealer on her face, only eyeliner and lipstick; proof that she is has very naturally flawless skin.

 

STYLE » When indoors, she dresses up casually infront of the members, unless she wants to show off her 'red carpet' looks as she calls them- since MinHye believes that she will be that famous that she will be posing on the red carpet- which is kind of cocky~! Bangles, bracelets and watches are part of her body because she can never take them off, especially ones with a slight edge to it- like a bracelet with spikes, she loves being the tiniest bit on the wild side~

PERSONALITY » 

Kim MinHye, is one of the biggest ball of sunshine that you have ever met in your entire life. She is a bundle of joy when you get to know her, but that doesn't mean when you first meet her, she is a sad cloud, Minhye is equally as happy and wonderful! But she is not so perfect, because she does certain things that are plain wierd or annoying. And speaking of annoying..

 

MinHye is annoying, simple as that. Never keep a secret from her because she will annoy you like crazy until you tell her what it is. She has many ways of annoying her fellow friends and members.

1. Crying loudly and imitating a baby's cry. She will literally snuggle as close as she can to you, then cry as loud as she can, annoying you until se get's what she wants.

2. Nagging you and poking your sides like crazy, which will also annoy you.

3. This is normally used for a last resort, but if she has to, MinHye will use her Killer Aegyo to look more innocent than she is and get what she wants. This killer aegyo works 99.999% of the time.

Aside all that, inside, MinHye is a very thoughtful person who is considerate for others and makes sure everyone she knows is happy like she is most of the time.

HOME IS WHERE YOUR HEART IS.

BACKGROUND » MinHye was born and raised in GyeongSangdo, Busan with her older brother and parents. On the outside, their family looked perfect. Very prim and proper, the two children were talented with different qualities and they had money and high standings. On the inside, things were the opposite of perfect and the family was gradually falling apart. Their father was having an affair and abusive to his children, their mother was on medication, they were falling into debt, MinHye's brother was rebelling against their parents and a divorce between the two was closing in. They did everything to keep up appearances, MinHye especially. She thought that if she pushed herself hard enough, that if she made herself the best that she could be, that somehow she could save her family. Things didnt fully fall apart until she was sixteen. 
 

MinHye was the one of the best singers in the whole of the country, she had the medals to prove it. She worked with her brother until she could also dance and rap, all for her father. Her mother was there for her the whole time, but she worked to hear only the words 'good job' from her father. She never got it, but that was her dream. She always had top grades and kept her self in pristine shape, she did everything she could to get attention from her father, and he ignored her. She never let the pain she was in show, she wore a mask all the time- explaining why she is usually in a happy mood. 
 

Once things finally fell apart, her mother packed up and went back to live with her own parents in Seoul. MinHye had the choice to go back or stay in Busan with her father. Her brother was leaving and, as much as it hurt, she left with him. In Seoul, she had to finish her schooling, but she didnt really earn very high on her TOEIC- well she failed on the exam. It was hard trying to learn English to pass her exam, but she did it- scoring 750 and passing after practicing pronunciation and spelling days on end. It was even harder making friends, since everyone in her school spoke fluently in English for some reason and they picked on her because she was 'dumb' to them. She didnt really do look for any friends. She had only two friends that were her two besties from Busan, and they were so close- their names were AeMi and Nichkhun. The two friends came with her to make sure she was happy and well. Those best friends were people who she sang with. He helped her with Korean and they got close. 
 

AeMi and NichKhun, her friends, had been 'training' so that they could audition for BigHit Entertainment. NichKhun's older sister was already in Bighit and he wanted to be like her. And AeMi just plainly wanted to be known througout the world.Seeing all this, MinHye wanted to try it too, not to see NichKhyun's sister but because she wanted to. The went together and spent the entire day waiting. When it was MinHye's turn, she was nervous and was sure she wasn't going to get in, but her confidence led her onto the stage as she faced some judges, and she bit her lip in anxiety. When the music started, MinHye's heart stopped. She had been a singer most of her life and now it was going to pay off. She sang her heart out before bowing and leaving. 

 

Everyone- NichKhun, AeMi and MinHye- was accepted as trainees when they were both seventeen, but AeMi didnt last. MinHye was left wit only NichKhun and she worked with him with so much vigor. When she was twenty one, a rumor was going around that a new girl group was starting and she got very exited. She continued at her same schedule, she was already working herself to the brink, and when they announced names she was waiting. When they got to the fourth name and she wasnt called yet, she knew she wasnt in. She actually started walking away. Her name was called last and she was stunned. One of the other members standing next to her hugged her and MinHye couldn't even react correctly. She went straight home and told her grandparents, she even called her father's parents and told them. They called her father and he called MinHye . He congratulated her and he said 'good job' once more. Then was when she broke down and started to cry. 
Working with the other four girls was bothersome sometimes, but others it was like having another family. She grew to love them all.

PERSONALITY » Jimin's personality is not very sweet. He is a nice guy and all but not very nice, if you get what i mean. Nice anough to open a door for you, but not enough to buy you some food. Jimin doesn't really prefer hanging out with MinHye, but if she was the last person on Earth, he would..think about it and probably end up talking to her. He is quite a good looking guy and he kindly accepts 'small favours'. AeMi and Minhye are best friends as you already know, but sometimes AeMi tries too hard for Jimin to notice MinHye and it has become a slight burden for her. Every time the two walked past him in school, AeMi would boast about how pretty MinHye was or how popular she was and how lucky a man would be to go out with her, but Jimin simply ignored it and MinHye would be so embarassed because everyone would have heard. Nowadays, he simply ignores her.

 

LOVE STORY » 

When MinHye saw Jimin for the first time, she was shocked because he was the first guy that she was attracted to in a couple years. After the brief glance, she was convinced that he was 'the one' for her; her 'prince charming'. This caused her to become a stalker for this mystery man, she didn't even know what his name was but he overheard Jimin's friends and members talking to him, when she heard his name. 

She was caught sneaking up on him when Jimin went to one of the member's birthday party, and MinHye was pretty sure that he was confused why a girl that his group member didn't know was at his party. She flushed bright red when they had eye contact, her lips curving into a smile. "I-I'm MinHye! Kim MinHye!" She introduced herself and clapped happily at the thought that he knew who she was. But the think that was very dissapointing to her was that all Jimin did was made her leave the location of the party immediately, this made he extremely sad but that would also be what she herself would do if someone random (probably a creepy stalker) was at Nichkhun or AeMi's party. 

The next day, MinHye was confronted by Jimin at the school gate, which literally  made her die inside. "R-remember me?!" She asked excitedly, her question being answered by a nod of his head.

Her memory after that point is very faint, but she knew that Jimin did not really talk to her after that. It could have been because they had an argument or something, but he is not really like that was he? I hope not.

 

 

LOVE RIVAL » Jung Hoseok

PERSONALITY » Compared to Jimin, Hoseok is very different. He is also sweet, but even more caring. He is mature and Hoseok is determined and won't stop what he's doing until he gets it. He has really lame humor and comes up with the lamest jokes ever, pretty much everyone laughs at his jokes anyway so that he feels better about his bad sense of humour. He is generous and doesn't mind sharing or buying people something- especially food, which he often buys for MinHye. To her, he is just a very very very good friend, but honestly, she feels a slight spark and connection inside and loves Hoseok with all her heart and soul...as a friend.

 

LOVE STORY »  When Hoseok and Minhye see each other, there are two options on how it going to go down. Either it's going to go good or it's going to go awesome! There is absolutely never a dull moment in their meetings. When she sees him, she normally runs to him and gives him a big hug, unless she is not in her usual happy mode- if she is feeling a bit down, he would hug her instead- she thinks it's cute when he gets embarrassed from her hugs- and he really does.

 

When they're  both free, they like to go out and eat (probably MinHye's most favourite thing to do in the entire world) or go see a movie that will lead them to tears or scared the shaz out of the two. They both try to teach each other things they've learned. MinHye likes to teach Hoseok about how she sings and what she has learnt from the vocal lessons to increase the quality of your voice when singing and Hoseok tried to help her try and rap, but MinHye did not succeed since she likes rapping but she is not good at it.. When Hoseok's solo or group performances are about to start, Hoseok and MinHye exchange texts wishing each other 'good luck'.

 

They first met each other in school in Seoul- where most girls had boyfriends and MinHye was searching for a boyfriend as well with the help of Aemi, but she didn't seem to find one. Instead, while looking around and trying to flirt the best she could, she stumbled across Hoseok. They exchanged glances and started apoligizing to each other right after that. Soon they started talking more and more since they had found out that they were in the same class, and soon enough they became besties.
