They were all kids and their summer vacation was over. It was time for Kris to go back to school but Tao was attached to Kris and didn’t want Kris to leave without him. So in the morning, Tao woke up and watched Kris get ready for school. He noticed how his clothes were different from his play time clothes. They were nice and ironed. Tao got out of bed and looked through all of his clothes to find nice clothes too. The only thing he had was his martial arts outfit so he quickly put on his clothes and rushed out of the room with Kris.

“Where are you going?” asked Kris’ father.

Tao didn’t speak to anyone but Kris at the time, so he just looked to the ground. Kris walked over to him.

“Hey…you wanna come to school with me?” said Kris with a smile.

Little Tao nod his head and continue to look at the ground. His mother smiled and told Kris to bring him to the car and she will register him so he can go to school too. Tao looked up at her and he had a huge smile on his face.

“You like hanging around Kris, don’t you?” he said as he pat his head.

He nodded and ran to the car after Kris.  They got in the car. To Tao, it felt like they drove like a billion miles from their home. He grew nervous and Kris could sense it. So Kris hugged Tao and told him that everything will be okay little brother.

“Little brother?” whispered Tao.

“Yeah…you’re my little brother right?”

“Yeah…” said Tao with a smile.

“So I will protect you and introduce you to my fwiends…” he said as he hugged little Tao tightly.

The car stopped and they got out. They were almost late. Everyone was already in class.

“Daddy~ We will go to class first! See ya~” said Kris as he grabbed Tao’s hand and they ran to the classroom.

Dong Eun went to the office. (Silly boys…)

To the classroom

They ran into class.

“Kris…slow down!” said the Teacher.

“Yes Mrs. Shelly” said Kris as he pouted.

Tao didn’t understand much but he never liked it when Kris was sad. So Tao turned around and threw something at the teacher.

“Oh MY!” she yelled and Kris turned around and stopped him.

“Stop…what are you doing?” said Kris.

“She made you mad…”

“Noo…I broke the rule…”

“That kid…where in the world is his parents!” yelled the teacher. The other students looked at the teacher with wide eyes.

“Sorry ma’am! He…doesn’t understand a lot. He’s my brother and I will show him the ropes…so please don’t get mad at him…”

“Brother? I wasn’t aware…” she said as she faded because of the knock she heard at the glass door. The principal signaled he to come out to the hallway and she nodded her head in order to acknowledge her boss.

“Umm…kids why don’t we finish packing up and prepare for breakfast. I will be right back. Kai, please watch the class.”

“Yes Mrs. Shelly” said a little boy sitting down near two empty desks, one was labeled Kris and the other was empty. The teacher walked out of the class.

Kris walked over to a long list and Tao followed.

“See…look…these are the rules of stuff we can’t do… whenever we do something on this list, we get into trouble. Okay?”

“Okay…” said Tao while pouting. Kris patted his head and smiled.

“Follow me…”

Tao followed Kris to his desk.

“Little brother, this is Kai. He’s my best friend…”

“Nice to meet you” said little Kai as he held out his hand to shake little Tao’s hand. When Tao didn’t respond, Kai grew sad.

“Kai…don’t take it the wrong way…he only talks to me and hangs around me…he’s new to people…so it takes time…” he said to cheer up Kai.

“Little brother…when people say nice to meet you…you shake their hand like this…” he said as he forced Kai to demonstrate.

“Nice to meet you” said Kai as he reached his hand out to Kris.

“It’s nice to meet you” said Kris as he shook his hand and smiled.

Tao just stared at them and then sat at the empty desk. Kris nudged Kai to redo his greeting to Tao.

“Umm…I’m Kai. It’s nice to meet you”

Tao looked at Kai and then to Kris and then back to Kai. {He seems like an okay person…}

“Nice..to meet you…” he whispered as he shyly shook his hand. Kai had a big smile and hugged Tao. He was debating if he should freak out or not….but he just stood still. Kris smiled and the teacher came back in.

“Alright lets get started…we have a new student boys and girls. Please introduce yourself to him…”

One by one they all stood up, besides Kai and Kris, he didn’t really pay attention to anyone except for three other students. One of the students was really loud and annoying. His name was Sehun. The next student had really curly hair and his name was Luhan. The other student was the complete opposite. He was quiet and had big pointy ears. Tao decided to gave him the nickname wolf boy.

“Wolf boy!” yelled Tao in the middle of his introduction and the class laughed except Kris and Kai.

“That is not nice…Apologize” said the teacher.

Tao said nothing and looked at the desk.

The little boy sat down sadly.

“It’s okay Chanyeol…I will talk to him later…okay…”

“Yes ma’am...”

As time passes on lunch time was closing in so they had to prepare.

Chanyeol, Sehun, and Kai sat next to each other and Kris wanted to join but they told them he can’t join because of what he said about Chanyeol. Kris was sad and sat with Tao.

“Why…your face…look like that kid…”

“I’m sad…”

“Why sad?”

“They won’t let me sit with them because you made him sad…”

“I did?”

“Yeah…you called him wolf boy and made him sad…”

“I didn’t mean too…He looked cute like a wolf….what do I do?”

“You apologize to him…we learned about it before summer came...”

“Apo..lo…gize?”

“Yeah…we say sorry to make him happy again…”

“Okay…” he said as he walks over to the wolf boy and this time Kris followed closely.

Chanyeol looked up at him with a pitiful face and Tao looked at the ground. {I can do it…}

Kai smiled and knew he was trying to apologize to make Chanyeol feel better. Sehun was upset and pushed Tao to the ground and it hurt. Tao teared up and Kai stopped Sehun.

“Stop it!” yelled Kai.

“Why yell at me…he’s mean…”

“No he’s not…” yelled Kris as he helped out Tao.

Chanyeol rushed to him and asked him if he was okay.

Tao looked at Chanyeol with teary eyes and whispered, “I’m sorry…I didn’t mean to make you sad…I thought you were cute like a wolf cuz your ears are cute…”

The kids looked at him and Chanyeol smiled.

“Thank you…” he shyly said and gave Tao a hug. {Why do they keep hugging me…its weird…but nice…}

Sehun felt bad and took out a cookie he already half eaten and offered it to Tao as an apology token. Tao looked at the wet cookie. He doesn’t want to eat it.

“I’m sorry,” said Sehun as he continued to offer the cookie.

“Thank you…” said Tao as he accepts the cookie. After staring at the wet cookie for a while, he walked over to the trash can and threw it away.

Sehun started to cry loudly. The teacher came over and talk to them about respecting others way of apologizing.

“Even if it’s nasty?” asked Tao and Sehun cried even more.

“What…why…why is he…crying more…” asked Tao.

{Oh lord…someone save me…}

The bell rang and she told everyone to line up.

{I don’t get these people…too weird…}
