TRAITS — Carefree, rebellious, talkative, and shameless

PERSONALITY — 

Taesung may have the bad boy touch, but he can be quite the gentle man who open doors for ladies, elders, and even take care of his own members as he sees fit. Though he can be carefree and active, Taesung can also be a nuisance to anyone who encounters him; by questioning everything or having the need to hear the reason worded differently. He can also be quite the rebellion if he's truly against an idea, thus also triggering the talkative side of him. He could argue on and on until his idea is taken into action. He may care about another's needs but he wouldn't even consider one's idea if he sees any flaw. 
On the other hand Taesung is also a very aggressive and competitive person. The word "lost" does not exist in his world.
When meeting new people, Taesung always has the urge to get closer to those who's more appealing to him in terms of status. But he also want to maintain his bad boy image, thus he can be quite the cold person when approaching them. 

BACKGROUND — Taesung's parents were a young couple who got married early because his mother was pregnant with his older brother. At only 16, they were trying to make a living with their newborn by living under father's parents. But Taesung's grandparents got tired and sick of raising his older brother alone, who was emotionally weak (his brother was a very sensitive baby and a light sleeper), so Taesung's parents had no choice but to have his mother's parents raise his older brother in the states. Thus, his parents first born was raised in the states and away from them. Though his parents had thought of moving to the states, they couldn't because of his father's parents, who needed their son's support. Three years later his parents gave birth to him in Seoul, South Korea. And it wasn't until he was four when he first met his older brother for the first time. Their father worked at the airport as a pilot while their mother worked as a manager in a well known mall in Seoul. 

LIKES — The color black, dogs/wolves, bitter beverages (black coffee for instance), gaming, and expensive vehicles. 

DISLIKES — Children (for some reason he can't understand and click with them), cats, cartoons (he claim them to be fake), balloons (he hates it when they pop), and grumpy people 

HOBBIES — Chewing on pens and cross out anything he doesn't like from a book/magazine with his chewed up pen, playing online games (MMORPG/PVP), and playing basketball.

- 2015 / during a world tour, Taesung was playing around in the back while one of were filming, and he was caught pretending to smoke a rolled paper 
- 2015 / he confessed to Suzy being his ideal type (since Mijoo and Suzy sort of resemble one another) and joked that if he was to debut earlier, she would have been his, causing many mixed feelings from Lee Minho's fans and fans who shipped Suzy and Minho. 
 

TRAINING DETAILS — Taesung was a backup dancer for Infinite in Woolliment for three years, but since Woollim had no plans to debut a boy group any time soon, he transferred over to Big Hit and trained for one year, in which he was to debut with Big Hit's "Apollo"
