I really don't get authors who threaten readers by saying, "If you don't comment, I'm not going to update and will discontinue this story."

Wtf? Seriously? Is that how desperate you are in trying to get comments and karma points? For goodness sake, it's up to the readers if they want to comment or not. Why the need to threaten them with "I will discontinue this story if you guys don't comment". I get that comments are a source of motivation for us writers to continue writing but I feel that it's unfair to force people to comment, subscribe or even upvote your story.

Just my opinions. Nothing much. Don't bash me lol.
