Kai is the third prince of Alzea, his brother Suho is the first prince and Chen is the second prince. In the castle, Ksi likes to beat up almost everyone making his brothers impatient to him, but not his attendant, Kyungsoo, among all the people in the castle Kai only trusting Kyungsoo's loyalty to him.

"Promise, I'll only serve his highness." Kyungsoo said under the shining moon on the night of the declaration of the crowned prince, Suho.

Kai believed at him.

 

But one night, an unknown disease fell on to Kyungsoo, isolating him from everyone.

"Unfortunately, our kingdom doesn't have any medicine for this disease." the youngest yet the most credible doctor, Sehun said.

"So you can't help him!" Kai helplessly cried to him.

"I can..." Sehun said. "There is a procedure in my father's book telling about this disease but there are ingredients that can't be found in our kingdom and you must find it outside."

"No! I can't let my brother do that!"

"Then there is no..."

"I'm doing it." everyone on the room looked at Kai. "If that is the only way to help Kyungsoo then I must do it!"

"Good, then let me tell you the things you must get. First you need the tear of the lonely maiden in the Mountain of Seira, then the Pearl of Sumaton in the Sumaton and lastly, at least ten different herbal leaves in the Garden of Evergreen in Gain. The tear will help the liquidation of the medicine, while the pearl will enhance the early recovery of the patient  and the herbal leaves will help also. I already have the other ingredients. So it's up to you if you wanted to go on this journey"

"Fine. I'm going." Kai said. For Kyungsoo I must do it.

"Lonely aren't we?" Kai looked up to the owner of the voice and saw a young man sitting on the banch of the tree, Kai immediately went up and prepared himself.

"Who are you!" Kai noticed the Red lace on the neck of the young man. "A mercenary!"

The mercenary went down. "I see, you are a prince, perhaps the Third Prince of Alzea, Kai. I'm a mercenary and my name is Luhan."

"Why are you here!"

"I saw you are looking for something... I am also... mind if I join your journey?"

"What are you looking for."

"The one who killed my brother."

"A mercenary and a prince, what a combination." Kai and Luhan looked at the man sitting behind them. He is wearing a weird clothes, like he was a fortune teller or something.

"Who are you?"

"I'm Tao and I'm a fortune teller. Do you mind Third Prince if I join you?" Tao asked. "I'm running away from someone."

"Running awayfrom whom?"

"From the person whom I destroyed."

Kai and Luhan looked at each other.

"I must join you!" cried by the helpless man on Luhan. "I must join you or else, I will regret not helping the person who helped me."

"Fine, but Lay I am not the leader of this adventure." Luhan looked at Kai and Kai nodded an looked away, Luhan sighed. "Okay, he agreed."

"REALLY!!!" Due to happiness, Lay hugged Luhan and Kai walked away.

"Hey, Kai!!!" Tao said then he walked to Kai. "Are you jealous?"

"To whom?"

"To Lay, he immediately became Luhan's bestfriend."

"Don't joke with me." then Kai walked faster.

"but I guess, I'm not joking." As Tao looked back to Luhan.

Meanwhile in the palace, Suho was on his room to read about the papers around his territory when his attendant entered the room. "I guess you are not happy your Highness?"

"Why would I, tell me Kris? Why would I?" Suho said.

"Your Highness, even the Second Prince is worried about the Third Prince, but we must keep faith on him." Kris said.

"Faith? Do you think I still have those after being in this position, I don't know who to believe at." Suho was surprised when Kris knelt on front of him.

"Then, let me revive your faith on someone else, your Highness.My loyalty to you will live forever."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Then, how about kissing me?"

Chen wore his coat again and on his way to go out of the castle. "Master Chen, where you going this time!" Xuimin, Chen attendant asked.

"I'm going to that doctor, I want him to finish everything. Who knows what is happening to our Kai now because of his ridiculous request!" Chen said. "Just say to us that Kyungsoo have a Grim Reaper and he will die sooner or later!"

To Chen's surprise he received a slap from Xuimin. "I didn't know you are a selfish one, Master  Chen."

"What!"

"Master Kai is sacrifacing his life for his attendant and you are being insensitive about it!"

"What are you reading?" A tall guy entered Sehun's room. "Are you reading about the Grim Reaper Disease again?"

"Shut it, Chanyeol I'm busy."

"Why?" Chanyeol asked Baekhyun, Sehun's Brother.

"His beloved was the one got infected."

"What no way, the Third Prince's Attendant? Sehun's one and only love?" Chanyeol said. Sehun seems to not heard it because he didn't react.

"Yes, Kyungsoo is it."

"Why are you close to him?!" Kai asked one night. Luhan looked at him.

"To?"

"Lay..."

"I'm also close to Tao."

"Why not to me also?"

"Jealous?"

"I don't know such word." Kai said and turned away to Luhan.

"Too bad I did." Luhan said remembering the main reason why is Kai out there with them.

Both Kai and Luhan didn't know that in that journey they will discover more. Discovered who murdered Luhan's brother and the truth about Kyungsoo, and about the person Tao is running away from. From there Kai begun to see something something about Luhan that is pretty interesting and that is something he don't know, he don't know why his insides are flipping everytime he sees the mercenary, evethough is it supposed to be wha he feeling when is with Kyungsoo.
