+「 part one. first meeetings are always nice 」ahn yoonjo is a very optimistic and outoing girl. she treats every thing positively which many people like her a lot because of this.  since young she was taught with this theory that, you are to live on no matter you're happy or sad, so why bother being all frustrated? just like a human sunshine, she's always a bright and happy girl, jumping all the way there, not seem to be bothered by anything. she could also get excited with the tiniest subject you could every imagined, like buying a cup of juice - that's all it takes to make this girl 'oh-yeah'ing. despite being a cheerful and hyper girl, she could never get involved with the word 'graceful'. she is extremely noisy and loud. she never sits properly and likes stretching her leg all their way to the wall. yes, especially while watching tv. she basically turned her whole body upside down. she is almost considered as a boy except her gender- boyish enough. she never cared about her image anyway. when taking photos, she likes putting on funny and ugly faces. why? no reason she just likes it. normal girls always try to show their best faces but this is totally another thing when it comes to yoonjo, she enjoys being her realest self instead. well, guess like she's those abnormal girls? she has never been shy in front of strangers. in fact, she is outgoing and all passionate to everyone- even strangers- and sometimes people wer often found surprised by her enthusiasm. yoonjo's always the one starting a conversation or starting a topic. she's not afraid of being awkward, with her words that would be, 'we use our mouths to talk and eat, so why shut your mouth up?'

+「 part two. reasons why she's always the bully 」yoonjo sometimes could be very funny. sometimes purposely sometimes unintentionally. with her not caring about her reputation, she's often found cracking tons of jokes with either her creative minds or her face or maybe her body jokes. she's actually very proud of how she could skillfully uglify someone. yes, no matter miss korea or just some random passers-by, she could always imitate them in the ugliest way. she doesn't mind being all ugly and riduculous, she's not the fixed class clown without a reason. on the other hand, she hates people asking question that don't even needed to be answered. let's say, when she's eating beef and someone ask her whether she is eating beef, she'll answer something like this: no, i'm drinking water-  just to be sarcastic. that's one of her significant trait though. basically everyone knows not to mess with ahn yoonjo's mood otherwise her words would only end up embarassing someone. she likes making fun of her close friends, note that, only close friends. even though she always call her friends fatty, fool, she actually cares about them very much. she's not the kind of people that will always say 'oh dear you know how much i care about and love you right?' she shows others her affection towards them with her acts. the more she calls you with names and literally bullies you with actions and words, the more important you are in her heart. she sometimes appear quite violent, especially when someone said something she doesn't like and she'll like slap you cheek (in a playful manner, of couse) or your and glare at you then you'll eventually surrender and go like 'okay fine treat it as nothing'. but if you're more of the rebellous and headstrong type, be prepared to welcome ahn yoonjo's fists. though she was always bullying her friend and suppressing them, her friends all know yoonjo's real personalities, so none of friends would be bothered with the bully side of yoonjo.

+「 part three. the dark and ugly side of ahn yoonjo 」yoonjo is heavily spoiled as she has a pair of spoiling parents. when she wants something, she needs to have it within three days. but maybe five days later she just throw that thing away since she thinks it's useless. and then she'll fall in love with something else. this often happens, people around her tried to correct her, but since we're talking about the mighty ahn yoonjo, it's a bit hard to make her stop being a brat. she's often found complaining how people do things she hates and being annoyed, but she never knew she actually does the same thing too. such a hypocrite. let's say she always complained about how her brother always not turning off the ventilation fan and lights after finish using the washroom yet she herself was always found not turning off the lights, making the washroom a total mess and often not turning off the ventilation fan as well. she never realize this for sure, being her usual self, but when someone tells her about this, she just shrugg it off and kept doing the same thing, not listening to anyone talking about her bad habits, or rather, spoiled side. she's not stubborn in fact, she's more of a go-with-the-flow girl, it's just that she doesn't like people pick on her bad side, she always thinks herself as someone pretty perfect, 'the real ahn yoonjo is the perfect-est', a perfect example of what a conceited girl is. she might praise herself in a half-joking way, but sometimes she really finds everyone around her with tons of flaws and shortcomings, secretly whining in her heart, but still finds herself the best among them.

+「 part four. my flaws make me special 」ahn yoonjo is really a blunt girl. she doesn't like rephrasing her true opinion with all kinds of sugarcoats, she likes talking straightforwardly to others instead. with yoonjo's words again, 'adding five pounds of sugar to every single word you say is so not healthy, not healthy okay.' what yoonjo really thinks is that she's worried that people don't get exactly what she's trying to say and this brought up her blunt self- not just talking sharply to others, she doesn't even care much about how others would feel when those hurting words come out from . if she's being around sensitive people, look like she's going to being hated more. oh well, it's not like she cared about it anyway. other than being a blunt girl, yoonjo is totally a ert. i mean, she could be more erted than some innocent boys and you would never want to start the grand topic of with her. she likes talking about y things without blushing a bit, even with boys. she could link a simple object to something about y stuffs, even just a random sentence. like when she sees some abalones, she could actually relate them to girls' chests. and don't even make me start talking about cucumbers. she'll probably brag about these for the all day. and people could just roll their eyes whenever yoonjo is being her erted nature. once she accidentally asked baekhyun how long a normal is and at last, she got slapped. she's curious about everything related to and she's never too shy to ask about it, like what is the normal rhythm of , how do boys stuck their length into tight pants etc. and did i mention she has a weird habit, or rather, hobby, while walking along the streets and taking trains? that is, she likes observing men's lower body part to see whether they're protruding or not. no special reason, she just likes it. and she's never too embarassed to admit this.

+「 part five. girls are not meant to be soft-spoken and weak 」yoonjo likes pranking others and never realizes she had been over mischievous. she could always get all the weirdest ideas of pranks in her mind, from hiding her purse, to pouring water into people's shoes, to parting ways with one of her friends and quickly ran away with the rest. these are barely acceptable, but sometimes like putting scaring notes in people's bag, or hiding people's bags in the lockers, that was actually too much but the girl would never realize that and keep being a prankster that couldn't thought of her victims. she's the usual mischievous immature little brat. people were really helpless in front of ahn yoonjo, but thinking about she's such a conceited girl as she is, she won't even give a if you try talking to her about this problem. yoonjo is quite of a sharp-tongued girl, too. she's so good at arguing and debating that you wouldn't even want to start an argument with her because you always know who the winner would be at last. her comeback lines aren't really amazing or funny but she could always shut your mouth up with her tongue- no, don't get the wrong idea she won't just kiss some random guy. she's not really good at debating, it's just that she could easily find loopholes in your sentence then she could quickly fight back focusing on that loophole of yours. and again, she never thinks she's too rude to argues with others with her rather sharp tougue, and she rarely even think how others feel since she had barely ever lose in a quarrel.

+「 part six. i'm still an ordinary girl, anyhows 」yoonjo is a clumsy and forgetful girl. if there's one day she didn't lost her things, she has to be abnormal, probably had gone through something big. the first thing yoonjo will say when she finds that she lost something is 'everybody stop! ' and everyone eventually had to help yoonjo out to find her things. stuffs she could lost varies from her phone, the most common one in fact, to her water bottle, to her jacket, and even to her contact lens. she always lost her books and calculator and even rubber when she was at junior high and senior high, actually. she has a special way to find her lost things, that is 'yoonjo's history replay'. she walks to the place she last saw her lost object, and replay what she had do after then and magically, this does work on her, only her, to be honest as for now. one more thing is yoonjo always forgets to bring something out. everytime befores she leaves the apartment she puts all the thing she needs to take on the sofa. but right after she finished putting on her shoes she'll totally forget about what she needs to bring and leave the dorm like nothing happened. then after she went on the car, she realizes she forget to bring the things she needs to bring- oh yeah great.

 

BACKGROUND: 

+「 stage one. fact: i love my family 」so ahn yoonjo was born on july 23, 1990 in bucheon. she's the second and last child of ahn junho and baek eunhye. ahn seungjo, who is older than yoonjo by 5 years. ahn junho is a business man, head of finance department that is, working in a rather famous company, while baek eunhye is a housewife. eunhye used to work as a middle school teacher before borning seungjo, and now, she sometimes do help as substitue teacher in a middle school near their house. the family is slightly richer than average, with junho's high position and the background of the two adults. with this, junho and eunhye spoil their children with all they could, bringing up yoonjo as a spoiled brat. they don't really have to worry about their financial condition, since they're earning the enough amount of money to raise two kids. with a pair of spoiling parents, and a loving brother, yoonjo, no wonder, grew up as an optimistic and happy child. in her life, she didn't really have to worry for anything. she didn't meet anything shocking issue, it's not like she's the female lead of local dramas, so yoonjo sometimes do appear as someone carefree, and not to mention, always loud and energetic. people around her usually provide her the best, hence if yoonjo dislike something, it'd be rare occations. just a single whine, her parents would bring her the best they could get (which is really good), so yoonjo tends to always be complaining and whiny. she interacts with her family so casually that she became quite of a blunt, and sharp-tongued girl because she just have the ability to retort her families' words so easily. and she dares to. all in all, with the love shower of her parents they had been giving her all these years, and the charming jokester brother she luckily got, ahn yoonjo, undeniable, had a very happy childhood. yoonjo met her first friend she ever made when she was three, a boy named baekhyun. their first meeting wasn't really pleasant as it may seemed (will be included at love interest section), but they ended up becoming best friends anyway. though baekhyun is one year older than yoonjo, they always came to a tie whenever they start a fight. back then, they were practically unseperatable, though they kept bickering with each other, there's a very sincere bond between them after all these years of being best friends.

+「 stage two. i honestly thought she is some kind of foreigners 」yoonjo's childhood was ordinary, somehow ordinary. playing with neighbors' kids, pranking them with all yoonjo's might - yeah, yoonjo was rather terrifying when she was young. but there was one thing that stood out, yoonjo attended to international schools. you may ask why, and that's because yoonjo was a bit weak at korean since young, and no one knows why, they're all pure koreans so yoonjo was supposed to be able to speak korean fluently. while other kids were already able to speak some complete sentences, yoonjo was still struggling hard between the words the word 'oil 어유' and 'milk 우유' or 'mushroom 버섯' and 'gemstone 보석'. but that's when seungjo suggested sending yoonjo to international schools because he always saw yoonjo sitting on the sofa, watching english channels instead of korean channels. so junho and eunhye sent yoonjo to international schools since then. the blondies loved yoonjo, well, they're all still young back then, so yoonjo was all safe and sound in international schools. plus, there were indeed koreans so yoonjo had a rather happy time in international schools. that was when junho due to company promotion, got the chance to move to seoul. when yoonjo was about to enter high school, junho and eunhye insisted on making yoonjo enter some sort of nobles schools but yoonjo hated those fake wealthy rich kids that don't even know that apples got red skin and yoonjo ended up entering jungwon high school, following baekhyun, and yes, yoonjo's korean did improve and were able to catch up her friends that share the same age with her, finally. her high school life, let's just say, she did not technically belong to the popular and queenka group but she would, hang out with them. her group of friends are more of the down-to-earth type, that share similar personalities with yoonjo. yoonjo got her erted and prankster sides from her friends back then. still, she had her great times in high school.

+「 stage three. because yoonjo needs to earn money too 」after graduating from jungwon high school, yoonjo moved to seoul to attend university. she was accepted into korea national university of arts as a student of department of broadcasting. since baekhyun and her left bucheon to seoul one after another, they sort of lost contact after baekhyun graduated from jungwon high school as he moved away from bucheon as well. around a year after her graduation from korean national university of arts, she got the job of being a personal assistant of a broadcasting director slash general worker at a television station, and got promoted to an assistant television director after one and a half year, her current position. she's now living in an apartment with her best friend slash colleague in yonglim apartment which is quite near to her working place in yeouido. she didn't live with her brother because yoonjo thinks it's awkward living under the roof of you brother and sister-in-law like what if they started making a baby at night so yoonjo decided to live on her own and luckily, jiyul ahd her found a nice apartment near yoonjo's working place hence she chose there without hesistation. well, she could always rely on her parents if she's spending more than she could, right? (i'm not quite sure about this though as you didn't really list out the address but as i did some research, i'm sure the journey would not take more than thirty minutes)

ahn seungjo is somehow the replica of infinite lee sungyeol. a 30-year-old big old man (as how yoonjo addresses him affectionately) being a complete 'choding' except in front of girls. seungjo used to be a down-to-earth boy when he was young but look what now, ahn seungjo is one of the hottest guy in town. seungjo and yoonjo always bicker with each other when they were young. yoonjo though, might be a sharp-tongue girl, but seungjo is older than her by 4 years, often resulting a tie to be more accurate. but now, they two are very close, too close for usual siblings. yoonjo actually discussed about with seungjo and both of them are not afraid opening up this topic. yoonjo kept asking about his first time, and everything she wanted to know. seungjo is the typical brother er of every single relationship yoonjo had and he never approved of yoonjo's casual relationship with kiyong.

haeyoung heard about yoonjo's personality way before she got married with seungjo but haeyoung and yoonjo, magically, got along with each other the first time seungjo brought haeyoung home for dinner. sharing similar personalities, the two girls annouce each other as close friends, much to everyone's surprise. isn't that most of the younger sisters dislike their sister-in-laws? but it's totally another thing when it comes to haeyoung and yoonjo. yoonjo sometimes even isolate her very own brother because she wanted to spend times with haeyoung. just like any other girls, the two love doing shoppings together, watching movies, eating beef, having sleepovers, everything possible. haeyoung is probably the opposite to seungjo when it comes to yoonjo's love life because comparing to seungjo, haeyoung is more of an open-minded woman.

they met simply because they entered the same department at the same university in the same year. both were accepted into the department of broadcasting, and became close friends soon afterwards. jiyul has been staying in seoul since her birth but yoonjo was from bucheon that jiyul suggested them renting an apartment together so yoonjo won't have to be the third wheel of her brother's couple. and then they became best friends for life. they argue and bicker like immature kids all day long but after a blink of time, they'd be linking arms, talking about what to eat for dinner. what's the real disaster is, both jiyul and yoonjo never tidy and are quite the messy type. in which yoonjo starts hoping for a new roommate that could at least help tidying the room- someone not like jiyul. nonetheless, jiyul and yoonjo cherishes each other a lot, to the point people call them to develop as couples already.

being jaehyun's direct hoobae, or junior, is probably the best reward yoonjo got in her life. one big reason why yoonjo likes her current job is mostly because she could always work with jaehyun, at the same set and studio. well, as much as jaehyun tried to avoid yoonjo's daring (half-joking) courtings at works, he couldn't deny the fact that they work off as good partners. yoonjo has been crushing on jaehyun since the second week she got her current job and almost of her colleaugues know her crush for jaehyun. but for some reasons, they never once imagine the two could really be an item.

kiyong entered the television station two months before (the start of the story) and is jaehyun and yoonjo's hoobae, or junior. since yoonjo's appointed to teach kiyong about their working environment and industry, the two grew close and yoonjo obviously has a bias towards this hoobae- well, because he never resists when yoonjo starts ordering him around. whilst at the same time, kiyong planted a secret crush on his unique senior. kiyong simply couldn't (and dared not) to say no when yoonjo wants him to finish some excessive tasks so he soon, became yoonjo's unofficial personal assistant, which jaehyun could only scoff at.

as yoonjo and giyoung live in the same building and apartment, they're tended to meet each other frequently. after a few meetings at the minimart, nearby restaurants and landry centre, yoonjo and giyoung started getting closer with each other and though they're at the same age, people would mistake yoonjo being younger than giyoung a few years with giyoung's vibe and her overall maturity. yoonjo sometimes goes to giyoung when she wants to seek for constructive advices and when she needs a listener. sure, they're not the closest out of all, but yoonjo does see giyoung as someone important and reliable.

+「 tip one. give him all the attention 」baekhyun is a sweet and caring boy. he cares about people around him a lot, to the point he sometimes put others before himself. he likes to joke around with people but while he's working, like working on projects or finishing his essays, baekhyun can be really serious. for some point you could see his determination when he's working. make it preparing the surgeries or handling the clients' history- he never finish work superficially. he does his best everytime, that no one is able to stop him even he's clearly overworking himself. in other words, baekhyun is just a typical boy but you'll just fall for his hidden charm unknowingly, with how he treat everyone with his always sincere heart.

+「 tip two. just let him be the hiphop king and whatso 」although baekhyun is a sweet and caring boy, baekhyun could be quite a mischievous boy. unlike yoonjo who's a prankster of acts, baekhyun is often found making fun or cracking jokes with his words, well sometimes his acts too but- chanyeol, jongdae and him, when gathering the three of them together, the room would always be full of laughters. this boy is good at lightening up the atmosphere, he's not the kind of cold and cool guy, he's more of the sunshine boy type, always hanging that smile, always making people around all laughing exaggeratedly. he's also a boy with great sense. he knows very well when to do something, when not to do something. when someone is in a good mood, he would act all idiot, being the usual self yet when someone is in a bad mood or upset, he knows how to do comforting part well. he sometimes would try all his best to cheer that person up, or maybe he would just shut up and sit there, it really depends on who that guy is.

+「 the first start. i always knew you're the one of fault 」the two childhood friends' meeting was not as pleasant as everyone imagined, no he took my first kiss when i was 5, or we switched our text books and then we exchange our numbers no, none of the above, and it's pretty unromantic, which was involved with ahn yoonjo's forever lovemate, food. it was when they were only 4, and baekhyun's family moved next to yoonjo's house. one day when yoonjo was walking with her parents with an ice cream cone on her hand, and the running baekhyun couldn't stop in time and bumped into yoonjo and also her ice cream. yoonjo's face turned red, as baekhyun thought the girl would cry like any other girls, he just stuck his tougue out and left. but then yoonjo grabbed his shirt and punched hardly on baekhyun's shoulder. junho and eunhye saw this and quickly seperated the two kids, baekhyun's parents then caught up and witnessed the whole scene.

+「 the second start. are you my stalker? 」their so-called reunion at seoul would be when yoonjo visited yonglim apartment for the first time of talking about the contract around two and a half years ago. then as she left yoonjo caught an extremely familiar face walking by and it turned out to be baekhyun. yoonjo secretly stared at baekhyun as baekhyun caught someone glaring at him, he turned his head and saw someone he hadn't seen for eight years long. he quickly walked towards her and tried to act natural while starting a casual conversation with yoonjo. they exchanged phone numbers and baekhyun said he'll pay the cup of coffee for her. their reunion started off a bit awkward as they hadn't have any interactions or meetings through these eight years since they both changed their phone numbers and never attended any high schoolmates gatherings before.

 

RELATIONSHIP: 

+「 step one. it starts from good mornings 」well they started off awkward after the recent reunion at the apartment. their relationship is more of the 'yeah-i-know-his-existance' and that's it. nothing more. they do greet each other if they ever meet in the apartment or even outside of the apartment. sure, they missed the precious friendship they share in the past but acting all close and casual and intimate would be too much and too sudden for them now. yoonjo, who used to insult baekhyun with all her words and act all playful around him now acts more reserved isn't really something baekhyun could imagine before- but the fact is, that's the only way yoonjo could act to him. maybe time will helps, that's what they think as they hope to warm up to each other more.

+「 step two. and now the ramen buddies policy 」they'll eventually bump into each other more and more often and both will start to feel more comfortable around each other. they do shoulder pats instead of only gentle small nods and greetings towards each other. sometimes when baekhyun was back from a long surgery and the shooting was finally finished for yoonjo, the two would go out for a short walk and eat ramen at any convenient shops nearby. well, jiyul is there twenty four seven and it isn't that comfortable for them to talk in front of baekhyun, roommate, chanyeol. though they aren't bumping into each other with ice cream and then develop as playmates like the past, they do, start developing as comfortable and casual friends and would not be awkward as ever. yoonjo starts insulting baekhyun in a joking manner as usual too and baekhyun would act less gentleman around yoonjo- well, that's what you expect from really, really close friends, right? they act like that before they're even really, really close friends.

+「 step three. can't we watch the movies professionally? 」it didn't take long for the two to step in another level higher of friendship when yoonjo first accompanied baekhyun watching movies. sure, they're close friends but it's simply awkward for friends with different gender to do that- but it isn't really like that when it comes to baekhyun and yoonjo. whilst baekhyun appreciates yoonjo's attitude towards movies unlike most korean traditional girls, the fact that yoonjo keeps raising questions about those acts is quite the setback for baekhyun. okay, he did imagine about the fluffy scene of them watching movies together but yoonjo is acting way too casual around him. despite watching these moveis together from time to time, baekhyun started accompanying yoonjo to attend her idols' fanmeetings. since baekhyun is probably now the closest guy friend of yoonjo (yes, even suppressing kiyong), yoonjo finds it fair only if baekhyun accompanys her to those fanmeetings too. baekhyun originally isn't really into these stuffs, but do you think he could win over yoonjo's speech about the pros of meeting your idol? no.

+「 step four. it's either love or no feelings. there's no inbetween. 」soon, and easily, they developed romantic feelings for each other- of course, it's hard for two people to fall in love with each other at the same time and it's actually yoonjo who first falls for baekhyun. she didn't really show it because she herself didn't realize her feelings for him that soon. she only feels that she wants to stop everything from catching byun baekhyun's attention and he has to focus on her only. then after a deep talk with jiyul, she found that she's officially in love with baekhyun. that's when baekhyun started feeling weird around yoonjo, especially after the night kiyong sending the druken yoonjo back to her apartment after a end-project gathering among the staffs and casts. the feeling of wanting to claim ahn yoonjo as his grew stronger and he knew he too, is in love with yoonjo. yoonjo at first, didn't dare to confess to baekhyun because she's scared the cherished friendship would be ruined like that until jiyul pushed her a lot of several times to get yoonjo's agreement. and ahn yoonjo finally confessed to baekhyun. baekhyun was taken aback with yoonjo's aggression, in fact, but then it fits with yoonjo's image and personality anyways. baekhyun accepted yoonjo's confession and sort of did a confession back to her as well. and that's basically how they started dating each other.

hi but why are you asking- whoops sorry. hmm there isn't any morning shows to broadcast this morning so i sort of woke up at 11 this morning? (scracthes hair) usually, if it weren't a live broadcast, i can go to work after lunch so yeah. and today isn't the day for music shows so yup. oh no worries kiyong can keep the studio running. HOW'S LIFE? ARE YOU SATISFIED WITH THE CURRENT YOURS?

i think my life thus far is quite nice, isn't it? like, i've got the house, got my charming brother and pretty sister-in-law, and also my nice job! but of course, i haven't satisfied by my life right now. hmm, i hope i could seduce jaehyun sunbae find a nice boyfriend and buy a nice house for my parents perhaps? that'll be better.

oh i do i do you do too? i like phineas and ferb a lot and do you- ah, you mean princess, sorry. (chuckles) um as for princesses, i like aurora, the sleeping beauty a lot because isn't she just perfect? maybe it's because of her pink dress, i don't know? but i'm a fan of her since really, really young age. and does anna from frozen count? i like how she's so ungraceful and mannered- which is very similar to me, haha. (laughs)

 

WHAT COMES FIRST, THE CHICKEN OR THE EGG? WHY?

wait do you mean do i eat a chicken or an egg first or what- ah, okay i get you. i think it's the chicken? because i suppose god created us living creatures in the form of a grown-up? like adam and eva were adults, not baby if i may use them as references.

ANY QUESTION? COMMENT?: urgh i took like five centuries just to finish the love interest part because it's something new but oh well. i hope the application is okay and up to your standard and would not end up burning your eyes and hey i tried to keep everything short. oh and, just in case, i have a few things to clarify:

• in short, baekhyun and yoonjo used to be like best buddies but in year 2007 (baekhyu's 18 and yoonjo's 17) they sort of seperated and never contacted each other anymore.
• i put jiyul as yoonjo's colleague because when they first rented the apartment together, jiyul really worked at the tv station as well but later she quitted the job (or fired, whatever you like) so she's written as unemployed but work as a youtuber, advertising some products from time to time to earn her income.
• not really much people know about kiyong's secret crush towards yoonjo as he himself never speaks about it but as the night he sent yoonjo home maybe after some questioning from baekhyun he would admit it?
• if you're wondering who is yoonjo's first love, i didn't put him here because i feel that wouldn't really be relavent to the story but if you need his history with yoonjo, i'm always more than willing to put him here
• that's it for now, and i hope 26 isn't too young for an intern surgeon doctor

• baekhyun had a day-off and decided to visit yoonjo at her working place and caught yoonjo running around the studio with kiyong following and the two dorks are all happy and jumpy causing baekhyun being all jealous all of a sudden. plus seeing yoonjo acting like a highschooler in front of jaehyun isn't doing anything nice- even if yoonjo knows baekhyun is out there looking over her
• yoonjo and jiyul's out-of-the-blue pillow fight + deep talk night with chips and pizzas and popcorns because food is everything to yoonjo, jiyul and me wtf
• seungjo being the er of yoonjo and baekhyun as expected and as usual and yoonjo could only facepalm at her overprotective brother
