rant: society on body types and what ""s"" are.

// a rant that will soon be turned into a video on my channel. click here.

bodyshaming - aka as a negative statement towards a person, mainly about the other's weight or size.

i hate bodyshaming. i blame society for this. why?

the society paints this idea of "perfection" where we all have to be thin and have long, curly hair and we have to be tall, etc etc.

we all know that we are all different - skin, hair, face, height, weight, etc. - we aren't all the same. yet, society wants us to be this "model" that we see on the tv and also in the front pages of every //kinda// magazines out there.

because of this "idea", a lot of teenagers --mainly girls-- are insecure about their own body. it sometimes get to the point that they get disgusted of themself, to the point where they belittle theirself, to the point where they hate theirself, and to the point where they develop an eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, etc.

as i was saying, because of this "idea", some people have this thing in their head where they see a person who may be a little bit bigger or smaller than them and decide to bodyshame them. an example; "ugh, she's so fat why is she even wearing that?" "omg do you even eat? you're so skinny like wow!" "you're too fat, stop eating!" "you need to eat more, seriously you're like bones!" etc etc

why do people have the nerve to go and mention about others' weight? don't they think that we know that already? i think i know if i'm fat or not, right now i'm short and chubby. but that's alright, because i'm happy with how i am - all i just want to be is a little bit healthier.

what's even worse is that, they have the nerve to comment on others' weight on their social media. an example; trisha paytas, aka one of the most inspirational youtubers out there who gives me confidence. the other night i was watching one of her videos as i needed motivation since i will be wearing a bikini the next day. i went on the comments expecting people to comment good things, like "yes you go girl!" or "i'm proud of you!" but no, all i saw were hate comments. really? bringing down a girl who is telling others to be confident in their own body? wow, you're such a great human being. a big round of applause to you. i don't remember much, but one comment stuck to my head. "you're fat, you're ugly and your personality makes it worse" that's lovely of you, telling her your negative opinion about her weight, face and personality. she isn't fat, she is healthy! she isn't ugly, she's gorgeous! her personality is amazing, she's funny, weird and she tells others that it doesn't matter what others will think of you, because we are all beautiful - no matter what anyone says.

seeing negative comments about someone's height annoys the heck out of me. seriously, stop. i'm pretty sure we all know what our weight is. if they think they're beautiful, they are. don't bring them down for your own pleasure.

shaming - aka calling a person a because the person know that they've slept with many people, men or women.

this topic annoys me. please don't shame if you have no clue what a "" is.

according to google --

a woman who has many casual ual partners.

WOAH. REALLY? I THOUGHT IT MEANT SOMEONE WHO WEARS REVEALING CLOTHES WOW !!11!1!!

yo, please don't call anyone a if you don't even know what it means. you can't call someone a for the clothes they wear, how they dance and how they look like, basically. i guess, it's fine if you know how many ual partners they have but, hey. someone's ual life is none of your business. out.

you don't have the right to cal them a if they wear shorts, if they shake their when they dance, etc.

eg people called ariana grande and miley cyrus s for the clothes they wore in their performances, people called fifth harmony s for their dances.

sooo. what i dont get is, that those people called ariana and miley s but not beyonce when they basically wore similar clothing - just different people, and different body types?

that's all i want to say, tbh.
