If I can't find it, Why not make it?

So first off, I've spent about a few weeks trying to find the right Roleplay that can fit my needs a bit. It seems that when I find a pretty good roleplay with potential, it turns out that the person I'm looking for is taken or the owner isn't responding to people who sign up. Which, I've been in many rps that haven't suited my needs and or other people's needs. All I'm getting to is that maybe I should take the time out, since I can't be content with joining one, to make my own Roleplay. Now I do have experience in holding a group and being consistant to check what needs need to be met.

My whole delimma is that if I do make an RP, will people be curious to join it, what kind of theme should it be off of (if it should have one), and what can I do to attract other people. I'm just looking for suggestions and tips that could start me off. (Even a co-admin eue)

Well that's all I wanted to say. Any thoughts?

Making an rp is hard! Haha. You know. I own one. Sometimes themes draw people in, other times it doesn't. I think advertising is really the key. And making it interesting. More people seem to join facebook or twitter based rps. And if the rp is open to all groups, girls and boys, they seem to gain more attention.

But running an rp is hard too and making it interesting is a bit difficult to. But since you have previous experience, maybe you won't have much trouble?
