Standing at 173cm for 61kg, Jaehyun has a healthy BMI. Not too fat, not too thin. He has a charming baby faced look which can make the girls' hearts melt in a split second. He can look y or cute, depending on what he wants. One thing that he lacks though, is his body figure. He's not one of those muscular guys like Ok Taecyeon or something. Not a single of his abs are visible. He also doesn't have any muscles in his arms. He's like one of those decent high school students. He may look like a wimp, but he's good in arm wrestling like EXO's Kim Minseok.
His hair is naturally black, but it's often dyed brown. Brown hair fits him better actually. His fringe always points to the left, he tries to flip it to the right but he always end up flipping to the left. Jaehyun doesn't let his hair grow until it reaches his whole neck, he will cut it before it covers half of it.
Jaehyun is not that manly. He's actually afraid of needles, so you wouldn't see a single pierce anywhere on his body. Basically, he really looks like a high school student. Whenever he smiles, a small dimple appears on his right cheek. It looks deeper when he laughs.

Any type of clothing fits Jaehyun. From casual clothes to suits, it all looks good on him. But, casual teenager clothes look best. He's fond of caps, so he usually wears a cap on top of his head. Jaehyun is often seen wearing those nerdy glasses. But, everyone knows that his lens has no degree.
Jaehyun wears a casual or childish coat on top on a casual shirt. Simple yet attractive. Backpacks are usually the type of bags that he own. He has a budding love towards Vans and Converse, so his shoes are from those shops. To sum it up, Jaehyun looks best in casual clothes like t shirts and denim pants.
If ever an important occasion comes up, Jaehyun wears a suit. A black one. It makes him look like a business man, as formal as ever. He also wears a tie instead of a bow tie.

[ I am a good boy ] — Jaehyun is one helpful kid. But that trait of his is selective. If he dislikes that person because that certain someone treated him badly, of course, he wouldn't want to help him. Anyway, if another trainee has trouble memorizing the dance steps or maybe just can't catch up, he would spend some time with him just to help him become as great as ever. Knowing that he isn't a god who is good in everything, he can't help every single trainee in every category. Jaehyun isn't good in rapping, so he can't possibly help them with that. One thing that his dorm mates like about him is his cleanliness. You will never see a speck of dust in his room. He is quite of a slacker sometimes, but his room never become dirty. All of his things are organized in its own specific place. Not only is his room neat, but he, himself, is neat as well. Jaehyun cares about hygiene a lot, so he doesn't go pick his nose or do something unhygienic in public. Jaehyun always gets s good first impression. The kid is polite, nice and formal. Whenever he meets someone superior to him or a simple stranger, he would treat them in the nicest way possible. To judges, he would show good image and would answer them in a polite way if ever they ask some questions.
[ Living the teenager life ] — Jaehyun may be 21 years of age, but his mental self stopped growing ever since he was 16 years young. He's the mood maker among the trainees in SYNTH. He can make others laugh without even saying a joke. Just by the way he talks can make other people laugh already. His replies are also funny. One special feature about Jaehyun is his laughter. It's contagious. Even if nothing is funny, if you hear him laugh, you'd laugh as well. Similar to a teenager boy, Jaehyun loves sports. He has amazing aiming, throwing and shooting skills, so he's pretty good with guns, darts and basketball. His favorite sport is basketball, so he plays that the most. His friends always want to be in his team whenever playing basketball because regardless of the distance between him and the scoring point, he would still be able to shoot inside the hoop. His fellow male friends would laugh whenever a girl asks him for help. Let's say... She'd ask him to ask what that guy's name. Instead of saying "What's your name?" to the boy, he'd say, "This girl asked for your name". It is indeed childish, but it also brings laughter to everyone.
[ Stupidity is his charm ] — Jaehyun isn't an honor student or something, so he's pretty much stupid. Since he trusts his friends a lot, he easily gets tricked by them. Especially when playing rock, paper, scissors. His friend once told him that the CEO would visit their dorm and he frantically cleaned the whole dorm. In the end, the CEO never arrived. He was dead tired to even get angry at his friend, so he just let it slide. Adding up to his stupidity is short temper. Jaehyun would accidentally raise his voice just because a random person disturbed him while listening to music, reading a book or practicing. If the person ends up being an elderly or a man in suit or something, he would end up apologizing non stop. I think this one is a common trait. Jaehyun is talkative whenever he's with his friends. They would talk about random stuff. Mostly about the training life and some stories about themselves. Sometimes, they talk about girls and he ends up teasing his friend. His talkative self makes people wonder if he ever gets embarrassed because he has the guts to walk up to a y girl and say hi. For his friend, or someone else.
Jaehyun was born as the oldest member in the family. He had a sister who was a year younger than him. Whenever people see them together, they always envy them for having such a good sibling relationship. Jaehyun was closest to his sister. The two of them were always teaming up against everyone else. One thing that differs the both of them is that Jaehyun was closer to his mom while his sister was closer to his dad. Nonetheless, the two's relationship remain the same.
In school, he was known to be the jokester or the class clown or the mood maker, whatever you call it. Simply hearing the way he talks can already make a person laugh even though he or she is in a very bad mood. He always has a bright aura and its a good thing because he influenced his school mates positively. Not only can he make his peers laugh, but his teachers also see him as a kid full of laughter and smiles.
Jaehyun grew up being a sporty guy. He was always in a sports CCA ( Co Curricular Activities ). He spent his whole school life taking basketball as his CCA. He wanted to become a basketball player in the future but it changed when he got recruited by a SYNTH Casting Staff ( Scouting would be elucidated later on ). Despite being a trainee in SYNTH under the singing category, his love for basketball never faded away. He would play with his sister and friends when he has free time ( Also because his sister loves basketball and is under the basketball CCA girls division ). But, that's rare since trainees are known to be always busy. Jaehyun wanted to finish his education, so he promised himself to go to university even if he debuts as an idol. Similar to his sister, he would be taking the medical course.
At such an age like his, he moved out of his parents' house along with his sister. The two of them live in the next district, near their parents. Reason is because their parents wanted to make sure that their children were independent when the time of their death comes.
When Jaehyun was just 20 years old, a casting staff from SYNTH already recruited him. He was walking home from school with his two brother-like friends. Best friends, if you call it. The three of them just finished their basketball training, but they weren't sweating a lot. While buying ddeokkbokki for some light snack, a SYNTH Casting staff approached them and started a conversation with Jaehyun. He didn't show interest at first because performing arts wasn't his path of interest. She gave him her business card just in case he would change his mind.
He spent a whole week thinking about that incident that happened. He told his family about it and they were urging him to audition. Not only did he tell his parents, but he also told his teachers. But they didn't believe him that easily because they never heard him sing before. Because of that, they challenged him to sing in front of his whole class. Much to their amazement, his voice was beyond their expectations. It was soothing, gentle and powerful at the same time. Since then, everyone urged him to audition for SYNTH.
Finally deciding to go for the audition, Jaehyun waited patiently to be called by one of the staff. It didn't take that long for his number to get called. Jaehyun stood from his seat, leaving all his nervousness behind, and walked into the audition room. It started with an interview like "What's your name?", "What school do you attend?" And some other which he doesn't remember. After the interview section, it was fun for him to sing. He blew the judges away when they heard his powerful voice. Of course, he was also ought to dance. Playing a random song, he had to dance freestyle. His skills were not that bad. Jaehyun did one or two b boy movements, but that's all be can do. Plus a few rhythm moves was the only things that he did.
The results weren't released until a week later. Nam Chaerin, SYNTH's CEO, sent him a message saying "Congratulations Mr Park Jaehyun, you have been scouted by SYNTH Entertainment and is now officially a trainee under the singing category. Training starts on 23rd April, please be punctual and well-dressed". His parents were overjoyed to hear the great news and they were very supportive of their son.
Jaehyun practices in the company building day and night. He wants to improve his dance skills and take his vocal skills to a higher level. It may look as if he's pushing himself, but it is actually a good pace for a trainee. Due to his friendly and social self, he knows plenty of trainees and they always come to him when they need help.
One interesting thing of Jaehyun is that he's close to their dance instructor, Gun Hoon. Somehow, they're like best friends because of their -not so big- . There are times when the two dance to a random song together spontaneously. Gun Hoon thinks that he has potential for not only singing, but dancing as well.
Since Jaehyun's house isn't that near to the SYNTH Building, he sleeps in a dorms with a few other trainees. All of them are boys. Those trainees actually practice as much as him as well. That means that they go back to the dorm the same time. So none of them actually feels alone when one finishes their training first. But there are times when they have a predebut activity with an idol, so it'll take up their time.

Jaehyun's father is similar to many typical fathers out there. Woohyun may be certify with his work, but if Jaehyun and his sister visits their home, he would postpone all his meetings or work activities just to spend time with them. Of course, as a father, he's very overprotective of his children. Especially Jihyun, since she's a girl.

A caring mother is she. She comes home as early as she can just to spend time with her children. Despite spending hours doing work, she still cooks for her family when she arrives home. But, if ever the time is short and she really cannot cook, they'd be eating in a restaurant or food court or something like that.

Jihyun is like a girl version of Jaehyun. The two of them may look like a couple at first, but they would look more like siblings when you get to know them better. Jaehyun teases her a lot. Especially when it comes to Aloysious. Reason is, she has a crush on Aloysious, his best friend. So, he teases her whenever. Despite their incoherent teases and insults towards each other, no matter how much they look as if they hate each other as siblings, that's just how they show their sibling love to each other.

The only person he knows who is not even a single bit interested in becoming a trainee. Since young, he's been wanting to be a basketball player, so that's what he wants to achieve. But because of his parents, he had to take university. Dun Can joins Jaehyun whenever Aloysious and Jihyun is around. He also knows about her crush towards Aloysious.

These two are like brothers. He often sleeps over at their house, in Jaehyun's room whenever he just feels like it. Jaehyun, being a loyal brother to his sister, didn't tell Aloysious about her feelings, so he is clueless about the teasing that Jihyun gets whenever he's around. He does find her fun to be with.

Gun Hoon and him are not as close as Jaehyun and Aloysious, but they look as if they're best friends whenever Jaehyun goes for Dance practice. Sometimes, those two makes their own choreography and dance together. Despite their friendship, he doesn't show favouritism when he's with the trainees.

- Ddeokkbokki — It's his favourite street food. He would always go and buy a stick whenever they pass by a ddeokkbokki stall.
- Basketball — Jaehyun is best at basketball. He often plays with his sister and friends. He does have a basketball background.

- Lamborghini — As a boy, Jaehyun shows lots of interest in cars. His favorite brand is Lamborghini. Jaehyun always dreamed to own and ride a Lamborghini Aventador J Unica.
- Lollipop — Ever since elementary school, Jaehyun was often seen with a lollipop in his mouth during breaks. Even until now, he does that often.
- Sunlight — It's simply hot. And blinding, sometimes.
- Construction noise —Those heavy drills just make his stomach vibrate nonstop.
- Street Parades — Similar to construction names, the loud bangs on the drums makes his stomach feel weid stuff that he doesn't feel usually.
- Siren — Obviously, Jaehyun is not a big fan of noise. So he hates it when the SYNTH Staff uses a siren to wake the trainees up.

ANYTHING ELSE » You've got to agree, Jaehyun's looks can melt a girl's heart. He can look very cut and very y depending on what concept he wants to do. For variety, Jaehyun has a good sense of humor off camera. But when they're on air, someone else seem to always steal his spotlight. ( XD lol )
SHORT INTRODCUTION »
Xiumin is the daughter of Yang Hoyeon, SYNTH's Vocal and PR Instructor. She get scolded often by her mother because she's better in dance than in singing. Xiumin has a melodic voice, but it's nothing compared to her skills in dancing. She's a great dancer. Also, she loves to dance because she has a crush on their dance instructor, Gun Hoon. Xiumin was born to a Korean mother and Chinese father, so she's not a full Korean. Her dad actually left her mom when she was just 3 because he stated that Hoyeon was too immersed with work that she didn't spend much time with her family. Xiumin keeps contact with her father through messaging, but she tries her best not to get caught by her mother. She also grew up in Korea, but because of her father, she maintains her fluent Chinese speaking at home. Xiumin got close to Jaehyun because of his sister, the two of them are best friends. They also attend the same school.

[ The angelic good girl ] — Xiumin still attends University despite being a trainee in SYNTH Entertainment and having a mother who is definitely passionate about her daughter getting in the kpop industry. She is a very smart kid and she is very good in problem solving. Not only maths problem solving but real life situations too. Xiumin's knowledge knows best when it comes to medical since she's a medical student, along with Jaehyun's little sister. When training, Xiumin works very hard in both dancing and vocal. She doesn't want to get scolding from her mom in front of her crush, does she? Knowing that she's better in dancing than at singing, her mother encourages her to sing more, so that she could improve her vocal skills.
[ We're similar this way ] — Like Jaehyun, Xiumin is also humorous and sporty. Within her group of friends, she's the one who sets the mood. Whenever she's happy, the people around her is happy as well. Also because she loves to make people smile. But when she feels down, the aura surrounding her is really... saddening. It's quite weird that she could influence her friends just by her mood. Another trait of hers is being sporty. No one really knows wether she's better in basketball or in badminton. Well, since her school's basketball team doesn't have a girls division, she went for badminton. She's very good at it as well.
[ Wolf in sheep's clothing ] — Simply disturbing her while she's training or studying can already make the girls' voice raise. If she accidentally raises her voice at Gun Hoon or someone else important to her, she would apologize non stop. But if it's someone whom she doesn't really care about, she wouldn't bother apologizing. Xiumin may seem aggressive at times, especially when she's in a bad mood. Gun Hoon LOOKED scared once and she thought it was because of this trait of hers, so she really tries not to be aggressive any longer.

Training in the same building, the two of them always interact. However, Xiumin hates his presence. He hates it when Gun Hoon is in the same room as Xiumin because all her attention would be on him and not Jaehyun.The two of them act like those best friends who say that they hate each other but they like each other's company. Jaehyun would try to be sweet and Xiumin's heart would flutter. But most of the time, the two treat each other like best friends or frenemies, whatever you call it.
FIRST MEETING/HISTORY»
On the first day of training, Jaehyun met Xiumin in the vocal practice room. He was astonished to hear her voice because it was very nice. He was totally appalled when Yang Hoyeon said that it wasn't good enough. To him, it was beyond good. Yang Hoyeon called him and told him to sing in front of Xiumin because she knew that Jaehyun's voice was amazing. He did as he was told and Xiumin thought of him as a show off. But of course, he wasn't showing off. He was scared that if he didn't obey their vocal instructor, he would get scolded as well.
They often see each other in the dance practice room. With Gun Hoon. Unlike other girls who pretend to get hurt just to get Gun Hoon's attention, Xiumin dances her best to get his attention. Jaehyun got unknowingly jealous, for no exact reaosn. Gun Hoon noticed it hismelf, so when they discussed about the monthly evalutation test, he paired Jaehyun and Xiumin up to dance b boy. Their dance went well and it was definitely a dance you wouldn't want to miss.
After the first week of training, when Jaehyun was walking to Jihyun's school, he was wondering why Xiumin kept following him. She said that she was going to meet Jihyun, his sister. He didn't know that the two of them actually knew each other. Xiumin told him that hey were in the same class and that his sister always asks about Aloysious since she's close to him as well. It's a coincidence that the two of them never got to meet each other during the past despite their connections. Starting from there, the two of them became quite good friends. Jaehyun once bought her chocolate after she got a high score for her vocals. He realized that she loved chocolates as well, so he started buying her every now and then.
