OKay so this is sort of a rant but please bare with me.

My little brother got in a 'fight' with another kid from our sports club. It all started with him accidentally hitting Kid B in the face with a racket ball on accident.

My little brother didn't say "I'm sorry" or anything alsong the lines of that so Kid B got pissed and grabbed my little brother's hair and threw him on the ground. I had no clue this was going on and when I came out my little brother was sitting outside by the walk way crying. I asked nicely what was going on and he told me what happened. I pulled him into an empty room and asked for him to explain again. And I told him that Kid B did wrong but so did he. If he had said sorry he wouldn't have been grabbed by the hair and thrown onto the ground. I told me mom this and she freaked out. She said I have no right in being a sister to him. She said and I qoute, "YOU DON"T CARE FOR YOUR OWN LITTLE BROTHER?! AND YOU CALL YOURSELF A SISTER!" I understand that I should have asked him if he got hurt or if anything hurts but....really he is the only one I can say this to. I can't scold some kid that isn't my family member. I told my mom that I was at fault for not making sure he wasn't hurt but It wasn't like I yelled at him and humilliated him infront of everyone. Then she blames my little sister of not saying anything "warm" to my little brother. But the thing is she didn't know about this until we were half way home! Now she says she doesn't want to see our faces and that she finds us disgusting. Really?! Did I really do so much to get this kind of treatment? I go to college, commute, back and forth 1 hour drive everyday so we can save money and I drop them off at school and some times pick them up from school. I take them to practice. I buy them food. All I ask for them to do is not be rude to people and leave me alone when I'm in my room. I think my mom is over reacting. Am I mad that kid B grabbed my brother's and threw him on the ground? HELL YES!!!!! But can I yell at a kid who I don't know that well and don't even talk to after hearing one side of the story? That I wasn't so sure of....Did I do something so wrong? You tell me....
