Do I Have To Subscribe??

Is it wrong of me not to want to subscribe to a story that states "Subscribers Only"

If it's because of mature content, why not just stick to "Members Only?"

Here's the deal...

IF I like a story, I then will subscribe and make that commitment.

IF, I like a story I will even Upvote it, but asking me to subscribe to something that I'm not sure if I'll even like...

Not going to happen.

BTW anyone know why stories that don't even have "trigger warnings" might ask for subscribers only?

Or is this a way for an author to get subscribers?

Personally, I made a story subscribers only because I thought it would help prevent mean comments. I think it can give an author a sense of security. I was also like you in your thoughts on the subject, but these days I don't care.

doesnt make a difference. i mean if its subscribers only, you subscribe and read it. if you dont like the fic then you can unsubscribe. not hard, ehh savvy? -____-
