BACKGROUND + Jung Jihyun, the famous fashion designer and also the heir of JH Fashion Inc. was born in Seoul, South Korea. She was named after her grandmother who was the founder of JH. Being the one and only daughter in the family with two older brothers and one younger brother, she remains the apple of the eye within the family. She has been accompanying he mother on various business trips ever since she turned seven. Skipping several classes, she graduated college at the tender age of 17 with flying colours. Mind you, she is rather smart. She took up Fashion designing while she was in her first year of college and the rest of her school years. Being the frequent traveler she is she couldn’t stay rooted in one school. It was Korea for six months; Japan for the next, U.S follows. But most of her time was in Seoul. During her travels, she studied various languages, English, Chinese, and Japanese. She took some Italian and French classes also. It was sometimes a bit too much to handle for a child but she got through it. She was picked as the Best Newbie Designer in her college in Korea. She finished her college in Korea and that was the starting point to her designer career. She has showcased a number of lines in the fashion industry and is seen attending various award shows wearing her own designs. She decided to settle down in South Korea and runs the company along with her mother who is the current CEO. She still makes many trips abroad.

 

Relationship with family:

Her family is quite the extraordinary family. They live in a huge mansion just outside of Seoul, not too far, not too near either. Her mother is the current CEO of JH while her father works as a chef taking care of the many chains of restaurants the family owns. Her eldest brother Jinhyeong works at one of his family’s restaurants as the Head Manager and Chef. He is married with 2 adorable sons. Her second eldest brother Jaeho is a lawyer and is unmarried but has a fiancé. Their youngest son Junhoe is attending his senior year in high school (her brothers aren’t very significant). The atmosphere in the whole family is at its very best. The family never fails to join each other unless they have meetings or business trips. Not much flaws are present within the family and it is safe to say that they are a family worth all the jealousy in the world.

J.H Fashion Inc.

It was founded by Mrs. Jo Jihyun, Jihyun’s grandmother from her mother’s side who unfortunately died of old age. The company has a number of chains in Seoul alone and also outside of Seoul. For now, the company has its main headquarters in Myeongdong, Seoul and sub-headquarters in Tokyo, Japan; Beijing, China; Los Angeles, U.S.A., and in Paris, Italy. Jihyun works as Chief Designer as of now but in her grandmother’s will, it was written that the eldest daughter of each generation in the family will be the heir to the company. This means that Jihyun’s mother was also the eldest daughter in her line but let’s not go too far on that. It was also stated that that heir was to be married before the age of 25. Jihyun’s parents were unwilling of this but it was Jihyun who decided to go with the will. Trusting that she would not do anything to go against their will, they left the matter in Jihyun’s hands in the hopes that she will find a good person.

Jung Family Restaurants:

Run by her one and only father, Jung Minwoo, the Jung family Restaurant has five places in Seoul, including two family restaurants and two bakeries and a café. Mr. Jung mainly works in the two restaurants and manages the other three with the help of his eldest son. Jinhyeong also takes care of another two restaurants in Busan by visiting from time to time. The restaurants are famous for their fusion food including Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Indian. The café is most famous for its varieties of tea and coffee. The excellent wheat breads keep the bakeries going in full swing with an equal share of fame given to its exotic cupcakes.

Jihyun’s Fashion career:

As mentioned earlier, she studied fashion designing during her first year of college. She started gaining recognition when she participated in the “Design Wars” event in her college and got first place. Since then, she gained popularity not only among her peers but also outside of campus. She has designed a couple of lines for many celebrities and attends various shows to popularize her designs. She has even showcased her designs in the Paris Fashion week when she turned 20. She was only 18 when she finished college but became a prodigy when she turns 20 resulting in her getting more appreciation. Many have tried but failed to be in a position like her. Currently, till this year 2015, she has showcased 15 of her fashion lines and is yet to showcase more. Be prepared for her.

 

PERSONALITY +

Let’s talk about her negative side first, eh? Being born as the only daughter and only female in the family (excluding her mother), she is bound to be a little spoilt. She gets what she wants and nags her way to it. She is very short-tempered and tends to be quite aggressive. She has a habit of hitting people for no reason. She is extremely sarcastic when she wants, to the point that it might hurt other’s feelings. She likes to do things her own way but is rather obedient. She still complains and nags a lot but she follows what people ask her to do. She likes to nag her younger brother and bully him. She is stingy when it comes to using her own money. She doesn’t like sharing her food. She carries the words, “Food is my everything”. She never seems to gain weight. She likes being a sassy- who does what she wants, good or bad. The spoilt self in her leads her to being stubborn sometimes and annoying as hell. She overreacts on certain unimportant events within her family.

Now the positive side (which I totally ace in). Despite her spoilt, sarcastic, short-tempered, rude and everything bad about her behavior, she is easy to befriend. Once you get to know her, you can’t help but say, ‘How was I able to befriend this short-tempered dork?’. She has passion for her work. She does whatever you tell her to do but only after a round of nagging and complaining. She gives off charisma during her most concentrated hours. She is an extremely good cook, getting the genes from her father.

PERSONALITY + Baekhyun is a sweet goofy person who is able to entertain everyone with his talking skills and causes eruptions of laughter. He is scared of ghosts and makes everyone speechless with his bluff nonsense. In his acting career, he is quite the hot topic. Despite this outer appearance, he feels isolated on the inside. His family appears to be the perfect happy family but don’t judge a book by its cover goes the saying. Baekhyun has never received love from his parents because they were always there to dote on their favourite son Baekbeom, Baekhyun’s elder brother. He, unlike Baekhyun fulfilled his parents’ wishes by studying business management and taking care of their not too small company (let’s not go too far on that) and him marrying the perfect wife and polite daughter-in-law. Baekhyun has always felt left out in his family and yearns for their love. But nevertheless, the two brothers are very close and Baekbeom feels bad for Baekhyun in a lot of times.

Baekhyun wants to have his own family, a family with love and happiness in the air. He has thought of his perfect future. A future with his wife-to-be where they would be cooking together and their children would be running about in the house and sneaking up on them. He never shows this side of himself. The side filled by yearning for love and a family. He hides these feelings behind and remains the cheerful, talkative, lovable actor everyone adores. Looking deeply through him, you will see the gloominess and his heart waiting to feel loved. Therefore, to fill the missing piece in his life, he tends to the help of the great Bae Yena and is set on finding his other half.

RELATIONSHIP + Baekhyun found Jihyun beautiful. It was love at first sight for him. He ahd heard of her many times but hadn't actually seen her in person. He believed that she was THE ONE. But that wasn't what Jihyun thought of at first. She thought of him as the cocky handsome actor who was set on playing with girls. She knew that it wasn't good to judge him without knowing him first but she couldn't help it. She was now regretting the choice of following her grandmother's will. But Baekhyun surprised her with his gentle and caring attitude. It was the complete opposite of what she thought of him. The two got much closer after Baekhyun got sick when Jihyun stood him up on one date and he was waiting for her in the rain and Jihyun came to his houise to take care of him and she started to understand the situation within his family. Jihyun felt bad for behaving rudely towards and started being more friendly to him. 

The two started seeing each other more each day and Baekhyun was able to be his true self, so was Jihyun. They only became official after around the second month of dating.  

 

WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE MATCH-MADE? + LI'm not going to hide the truth. Guys have asked me out, like a lot....(getting cocky there...) but I'm not sure if I want to meet them. Jackson is there to prtend being my boyfriend. He likes being the centre of attention. I sometimes wonder if I should ask him out but then again, that would be . I need a little push in these things. A push that requires my cooperation without any other options. I'm undecisive, I know...heheh... I heard about your expertise in the matchmaking business and I was sure that you would be the perfect person to push me to that decision. Besides, I have to fulfil Grandma's wishes anyways. It's the least I can do for her.

I'm positive that you won't disappoint me and I need him fast. I want to at least know him before marrying him. he might only want money. Haha.. Anyway Mino says he will flip his underpants if he intended to do such things. Misaki says that she would become a serial killer if he does something unnecessary so I have nothing to worry about.

 

WHAT IS YOUR IDEAL MAN LIKE? + I'd like a guy who is confident in himself. Someone who is comfortable around me and someone whom I'm comfortable with. I like a guy with a sense of humour and who can lighten up my gloomiest days. A guy who can put up with my short-tempered self. i'd like the guy to be older than me or same age but a little older. I don't like the idea of noona-dongsaeng relationships. Not taht I'm criticising the people who are in this kind of relationship.  I'm okay even if we are the same height when I am wearing heels. But without heels, I'd like him to be taller. I have a few more conditions but they are not that important. and for the last time, I'd like the guy to be open about himself with me and we are open to each other.



WHAT IS YOUR PERFECT FIRST DATE? + On a first date, I'd like to go to the zoo or an aquarium. I like the idea of being around a lot of people but not too crowded. Just enough people where the guy would show his manners and not allowing me to be too far away from him while walking through the crowd. Keeping me in check by holding my hands, afraid that I would get lost. The whole morning would be time spent in the zoo. luch at a cafe and the guy pays, I don't want to step on hispride. The afternoon, maybe a walk around the city where we talk to each other about ourselves. Dinner would be on the street snack bars where they sell spicy rice cakes and blood sausages.The walk home would be the typical boy-drops-girl-at-her-house thing and he has the secency to say a little hello to my faily. they won't bite, I know they won't. So this is pretty much my idea of a first date.
