appearance » Long brown hair, almost reaching her waist. Has a little bit of bangs, but they're long enough to be brushed with the rest of her hair. Most of her weight doesn't go to her stomach, but to her arms and thighs, but she works out enough that it looks slim and it's muscle mass. Sohye has a resting  face, but it's very flexible so she's able to make derp faces. 

style » Formal-Casual. Doesn't own many skin-tight articles other than leggings and skinny jeans, and a couple of blouses. Baggy sweaters, usually in darker colors or stripes, and shorts or skirts and leggings for the colder weathers. Knit cardigans and shorts for warmer weathers. Shorts, or sweatpants, and loose shirts, or tank tops for dance practices.

BACKGROUND »
Children see magic because they look for it; She grew up well with support from her parents. Their family is wealthy enough and wouldn't trade it for anything more. As a kid, she was always the quiet type, but mostly because she doesn't have much to say. She was a child who was curious about the world and took it on her own to learn new things by herself because she didn't like bothering other people if she knew they were busy, such as her parents. It was probably because she mentally grew up too fast that Sohye becomes a child when she's around people she's really close to.
Some people are like trees, they never grow up; In elementary school, she met her best friend, Hojoon, and the two were always together. Though their parents thought they'd make a good match when they would grow up, they never harboured any romantic type of feelings towards each other. The two got interested in the same things and would sing and dance together. Hojoon did better in dancing than Sohye did, so she mostly recorded him for improvement. She would sometimes dance together with him, but mostly did covers with him. When they were old enough, they went to audition together, although at different companies.

PERSONALITY »
First impressions are the most lasting; When you first see Sohye, you may get a cold impression from her because of her resting face as well as her tone of voice. Once you start talking to her, she'll smile and be polite, coming off as a scholar student or the ideal type of leader. Her body language is open and welcoming to talk to, and she seems like someone you'd go to talk about anything. However, if you are only able to work with her for a short time and it's rushed, Sohye might be really difficult to get along with because of her pickiness. She's very concise about things, and goes out of her way to make sure it's perfect. Sohye also will come off as professional because of her way of being able to change her emotions quickly and act accordingly, until you get to know her.

Sometimes you have to get to know someone well; Once you get to talk to Sohye some more, you'd get the feel that she's a very calm person, someone who analyzes the situation before taking an approach to it. She knows what she's doing, because she's had lots of time to think and experience it. She doesn't take crap from any haters or bullies, and she won't back off or hide from them either. Sohye will face the situation head on instead of letting rumours and haters ruin her or her friends lives. Though she may come across as y when making her blunt statements, she is nothing if not honest. If you were to live with her for a short while, she'll be glad to help around the house for maybe a couple of weeks, but after everything is settled down, Sohye will try to sneak away from her assigned tasks like a child.

Good friends are like stars; When you get all buddy-buddy with Sohye, she's probably the most sassiest person you've ever met. She's not afraid to say what she thinks, but can be a hypocrite at times. She's also becomes kind of a child, which also starts to show, so you know that you've reached the ultimate friendship level with her. Sohye would be really comfortable around you, and if people were to think she was the mother of the group, it would be totally reversed when you see Sohye around her closest friends. Sohye clings to people and pouts more often, usually grossing out or making the other person embarrassed for or of her.

Supportive, is open to many things that Sohye wants to do and supports her 110%. Stubborn, she believes everything can be done with just a bit of passion and hard work, nothing is impossible. | Always bugging Sohye to eat and sleep well, she's a very nagging mother. Invites Sohye to come to her restaurant to help out in the middle of the night, because her restaurant is actually busier in the night time. The restaurant is famous because it's located in an area where many dramas film, so once the crew is done filming, they go eat there.
- Father | Lee Gopyo | Alive | 48 | Video Editor | Confident, responsible, yet a bit cumbersome. He loves what he's doing and works at it to keep supporting his family from afar, but hasn't had much contact with them because he's always busy so he doesn't quite know how to communicate with them. | Often tells stories about idols or celebrities hes met to Sohye. Otherwise, the two are pretty awkward around each other because of their clashing personalities.

- Sweets. She has the biggest sweet tooth ever, and probably eats sweets and desserts more than actual food.

- Video games. Though she doesn't have time to play platform games, with all the training and all, she watches gameplays of them. She does play little games on her phone though.

- Cats. Loves felines, and wants to own one.

- Kimchi. Probably one of the things outside of sweets that she absolutely loves to eat.

- Lattes. Latte, latte, latte~

- Colored hair. Sohye really wants to try dying her hair a bunch of random colors when she debuts.

dislikes

- Alcohol. She just really hates the smell and taste of it. Responds to her friends like, "I don't need to drink, candy is my alcohol." Usually the one to take care of the drunk people, when she gets dragged to those places.

- When people boss her around. She knows there will always be someone higher up, but when they tell her to do something that is ridiculous or isn't correct but she has no choice but to follow it, she gets really heated up. She won't talk back, but will rant about it in private in her journal.

- Swearing. Sohye does has a tolerance for people who swear. She doesn't mind if they're in hip hop songs, fine, but she gets annoyed when it gets censored. She also knows that some people have a habit of swearing, but she just gets annoyed when they add in an unnecessary swear word in every sentence.

- Coconuts. She just doesn't like it.

habits

- Always has a lollipop in , or chewing gum, unless she has to move or talk a lot.

- Moving her head to the music, because she gets really into it.

- Fiddling with her candy wrappers and lollipop sticks; smacking her lips.

- Attempting to rap, but failing.

hobbies

- Baking. She learned how to bake her own sweets so she would waste less money buying them. But she wastes money buying ingredients anyway, oh well.

- Gaming. On her phone, because she's unable to play platform games.

- Sleeping. There is no place she loves more than her mattress. Or the car, wherever she can sleep in peace.

- Searching up other idol groups and learning their dances. Mostly just the chorus because it's easiest.

- Sohye is not very flexible.

- Though she likes learning dances and watching them, she is not that good. Sometimes when she's learning them, she will look like she's just flailing around a bit.

- Obsessed with the color teal. Most of her accessories are teal such as her phone case, her headphones, etc.

- Pretty bad at rapping, but loves listening to it. Currently obsessed with 'Unpretty Rapstar'. Doesn't hurt that San E is hosting it either because...

- Her favorite male rapper is San E, female rapper is Tymee.

- Sohye's a big fan of Mad Clown's voice, and she has all his songs on her phone.

- Sohye can cook, she just never feels like it.

- Actor Lee Pilmo is her uncle.

 

THE STORY.

THE PAST »
Believe you can, and you are halfway there; Sohye was ecstatic when she and Hojoon were accepted as trainees, and they both worked hard. Her manners and determination got her recognized by the company, and they always wanted to put her at the front of the lineup for a new group, but always got pushed back. Sohye never minded, she agreed that she still had much to work on. Though a couple years have passed, Sohye hasn't given up yet. She thinks giving up after staying and training under a company for so long, is kind of useless. She helps other trainees improve and gives them advice when they're feeling down.

THE REASON »
Nothing worth having comes easy; Given a second chance to debut, Sohye jumped right at the opportunity. Although she does think in the back of her mind that if she isn't able to debut with AVE, she might back down from being a trainee and become a producer or manager for Jellyfish instead.

personality » Eunkwang is caring and playful. He's very down to earth and doesn't like acting like someone he's not. His natural personality is caring about people younger than him, even if they're older in terms of experience (sunbae-hoobae kind of thing), and having fun with his friends. Eunkwang rarely gets stressed, because he knows that he can trust s to listen to him and help him through rough times. It's because of his naivety that he trusts newly met people too quickly.

 

FIRST MEETING » Their first meeting is later in the story when AVE debuted. The members of AVE were wandering backstage because they were amazed to physically be in the place where they see many idols on TV. As the leader, Sohye wanted to walk around and greet as many other idols as she could so she could build a relationship with them and AVE. When she ran into Eunkwang, him and 's seemed to be filming something, so she didn't want to disrupt him. Though not knowing how long BTOB would take, she was awkwardly waiting on the side, deciding whether to really wait it out, or to turn back around. They ended up finishing quickly, and because Eunkwang surfs the net often, he's aware of many new rookie groups and news, so he already recognized her. They formally introduced one another and got along very nicely because of Eunkwang's friendliness.

 

love story » After their encounter, they kept in contact through whatever means they could. Before AVE gets their cellphones back, they’ve met each other in their waiting rooms, or the hallways backstage of music shows. To prevent any possible rumors, Sohye has told one of the members she's closest to that she kind of has an interest in Eunkwang, and always asks her to tag along. Eunkwang as well, brings one of s with him every time he wants to see her. When AVE wins their first award, they get their phones and the two start chatting more often. Eventually the two become more bold, and start meeting outside secretly, alone, and they start dating.

 

RELATIONSHIP » Eunkwang and Sohye are interested in each other, Eunkwang more than Sohye because she wants to focus solely on working hard after being able to debut. He leaves cute little encouragements for Sohye, as a fan and a fellow leader, and Sohye appreciates them. When Sohye can't sleep or gets time to herself, she finds her thoughts often wandering to Eunkwang and how he's doing.
