A Year With Got7.

The blasting music from the booming speakers pounded against your ears, blending loudly with the frantic fangirl screams coming from almost all directions. The colorful lights flickered wildly as it shook along with the trembling floor.

You glanced nervously at your surroundings, your eyes quickly darted to your best friend, who was now on her knees screaming along with the others.

You couldn't help but roll your eyes at how childish she was acting, although it wasn't much of a surprise for someone like her. Her name is Suhee. She had been your best friend for who-knows-how-long, staying by your side ever since you two met in middle school. She was the one person you kept in contact as you traveled from the states and back. Suhee, also happened to be the person you're sharing an apartment with, her being your best friend and everything.

Why did I agree on getting into this mess? you pondered, your head shaking regretfully as you eyed your screaming best friend.

Suhee, was the average, cheery girl, and being an average, cheery girl, she had many common interests with the rest; including her excessive amount of love for an idol group, which in her case was Got7.

Got7 is a popular idol group, consisting of 7 members, hence the name Got7.

You had promised your best friend that you'd take her anywhere in celebration of her 19th birthday, so to fulfill her birthday wishes, you had taken her to one of their concerts. Although you had always had a thing against such music, it was her birthday; and it'd only be once a year anyways. She was holding to the flare of hope of her birthday wish coming true, whom in her case, was to be the winner of the ticket shuffling, the prize being a year spent with Got7. Her desire was so large, she had bought over 50 tickets, scribbling her name over it, hoping that it'd be the one chosen.

She had also bought you 50 tickets, but of course, she had done it without your acknowledgment. She had always thought you'd love the boys if you ever gave them a chance. She also had in mind what it would be like if you were with one of the members. You'd be perfect with Mark! But, JB wouldn't be a bad match either.

"Oh God! Why is there so much screaming?" you shouted through the noises, your quavering voice directed at your friend. You clamped your ears tightly as you tried to make out her answer.

"What do you expect? We're looking at Got7! Like real human self Got7! Not through the screens!" she exclaimed as she threw her hands in the air excitedly.

You let out a small laugh and shook your head in disbelief. Suhee is so childish, you couldn't believe she's actually turning 19 tonight.

"I can't wait for the ticket shuffling! It'll be so awesome if one of us wins!" she shouted and flashed you a goofy smile.

"What do you mean one of us?" you raised your eyebrows in suspicion.

"Well," she started to say, "I kinda bought tickets for you too!"

"What?!" your voice was unable to restrain its regular tone. "What if my ticket is picked? You know I don't like them!" you shot her disapproving looks.

"I promise, you'll love them! Just give them a chance, after a year, they'd surely be your best friends!" she flashed you another one of her goofy smiles.

"No! I don't want to spend a year with them! I know nothing about them!" you shouted back at her, your voice unfaltering as you furrowed your eyebrows in disappointment. "W-what if they make me take one of those trivia thingy that you used to take?" you continued.

"I told you about them before!" she looked you dead in the eyes.

"You knew I wasn't listening!"

"Well, that's your fault! Now you'll get to know them better!" she laughed and reverted her attention back to the stage.

True, Suhee had told you plenty of stories about them, and she would go on and on for hours. She had discussed almost everything about them, like their personal interests, dislikes, and all things along those lines, but you'd usually just nod reluctantly and agreed to whatever she had said.

There are million of tickets, chances of mine being picked is way too low, you lied to yourself.

"They're starting! The ticket shuffling is starting!" Suhee's voice snapped you back to reality. She pulled on your wrist frantically and pushed the both of you through the crowd to enter up front.

"Oh! They're getting the ticket!" she screamed and you replied sarcastically. You felt your stomach bubble up in nervousness. Please, not my name. Please, not my name. Not my name. Not my name, you repeated frantically in your mind and clamped your eyes shut.

You felt your cheeks radiated with heat while sweat dripped from your forehead. Your eyes locked on their hands as they pulled out the strip of paper. You swore, your heart was pounding so loud it'd blast away the music. Your mind was screaming and your fingers fidgeted nervously. Please, not my name, you prayed and you looked up at the 7 charming men.

"Park Myung-Hee!" the 7 men announced and their eyes dashed through the crowd.

"Oh My God! Myung-Hee! You're picked!" Suhee shouted and ushered you to step onto the stage. You shot her a what-the-hell look as you proceeded up the flight of stairs.

You couldn't help but shudder at the chilly feeling of hundreds of eyes locked on you. You could hear a few groans and boos from the crowd as you stepped across the stage carefully. You were still caught in your daze when you noticed a guy proceeding towards you. Focus Myung-Hee, you're on a stage, you pondered as you looked up at the pair of hands in front of you. You could hear the millions of fans screaming loudly, their shrill voices coating the layers of the atmosphere. You swore, if you were one of those fangirls, you'd be suffering from a heart attack. You smiled back at him and accepted his hand. Your petite legs made its way over to the rest of the members.

They greeted you cheerfully, shaking your hand and pulling you into their embraces. You politely returned their smiles and introduced yourself. They were all really nice, except for that one guy with red hair. He was really cold and distant, only shaking your hands as he pronounced his name.

Mark.

You mumbled their names softly and looked for their exceptional differences.

To be a total obsessed fan, you'd have to know their names, right?
Bam Bam has pink hair, Yugyeom is baby-faced, Mark is the ignorant red-headed, Jackson has wild eyes, Junior is quite tall, exceptionally white, and JB has tiny eyes.

You reminded yourself before quickly dismissing the thoughts as one of the guys started talking to you.

He has a really cheery voice, just like Suhee, you noted and your eyes traveled to his colorful pink hair, usually you'd just roll your eyes and grunt, but honestly, it really suited him.

"We'll do a performance! Dedicated to Ms. Myung-Hee!" they announced before facing you once again.

"What song would you like to hear?" the pink-haired guy asked and flashed you a cheeky smile.

"Umm..." you trailed your voice slowly as you cranked your brain, surely, you must've remembered at least one song from all of Suhee's ranting.

"Uhh.. Just right?" you blurted out as you stared back at them with worried eyes. Please let that be a song. Please let that be a song, you prayed and tugged on your oversized sweater.

You felt your heart drop in relieve as the boys flashed you heart-warming smiles and proceeded towards the center of the stage.

"Okay, just right!" they announced and the crowd roared back. Screams filled the air.

You took a few steps back, your face attempting to scrunch up the biggest grin possible. Fans do this, you reminded yourself as you were determined to play a good role. Of course, it would take you some time since you couldn't possibly get why this was interesting, it wasn't anywhere near the music you'd usually listen to. You were never really the Korean type of person, and it didn't help that you had moved to Boston, just a few weeks after being born. After 15 years of living in the states, you had almost forgotten where you were really rooted. That was until your parents flew you back, along with your best friend Suhee. Now, you were living in the heart of the country, Seoul. But that doesn't make you anymore of a Korean girl then you already were. Sure, you had perfected the language, and occasionally ate Korean food, but the culture change was such a huge gap, you never managed to fully regain.

You snapped from your train of thoughts and reverted your attention back to the stage. You had to admit, they weren't so bad. They were good in sync, and their dance moves were pretty caught on, advanced, at least. Their voices weren't too bad either. I can see why they have so many fans, you thought and unconsciously clapped to the beat, smiling wildly, making you look like one of those seals in the zoo. But, it contributed to your play, so it was alright. Besides, you couldn't possibly get in front of the stage and spat at their faces saying that you weren't one of their fans, especially when there are hundred of crazy ones right below you.

Luckily, you were able to refuse singing along with them when they started to pull you towards the center. Since you were a fast learner, you were able to copy some moves, making it quite believable that you were a hardcore fan.

The performance soon ended, and before you knew it, the red curtains were already draping across the stage. You bid the crowd goodbye.

***

"Alright, let's go," the guy with the tiny eyes exclaimed as he gestured the members to exit the stage. You were just standing there, embarrassing yourself and growing flustered as your eyes locked on their movements. Luckily, the pink-haired guy came to the rescue. He naturally slipped his hand into yours and pulled you off the stage.

"Ya! Why are you already holding her hands?!" one of the other members snapped as he jokingly tried to separate the two of you. You couldn't help but laugh along with him. Well, it was all for the act. You assumed he was Junior, the guy with a very white face and a tall figure. You flashed him a smile, making sure you were still playing a good role of a fan girl. He returned it almost immediately, and his hands reached your back, leading you through a small, narrow hallway.

"We'll have to get down on this, hold on tight!" Bam Bam exclaimed and pressed some sort of buttons on a panel by the side.

"Wait, wha-" you opened your mouth to speak, but you were instantly cut off when you felt a cold, shuddering embrace from the chilly wind. You spun your head around, realizing that there was a huge gap behind you, meaning that you could fall down through it any minute. You were about to fumble backward when the floor started to shake. You quickly realized your position, and your slow reacting brain was finally able to register what you were standing on. It was some sort of elevator panel that was supposed to transport you down to the other floor, of course without the walls wrapping around it. The sudden motion caught you off guard and you fell backward. The wind rinsed against your back and you clamped your eyes shut, ready to meet the cold, hard ground. That is, if you survived.

You heard voices calling out your name, but it all faded away as you felt a pair of arms wrapped around your waist, forcefully spinning you around. Unfortunately, your bad habit of reactions showed up, kicking your legs lightly, you made whatever that was holding onto you stumble as well, knocking the both of you onto the ground.

Your eyes instantly fluttered opened as you felt something soft against your lips. Opening your eyes, you realized that you were sprawling on top of the red-headed guy, Mark. Your eyes turned round and you stared back at him. Too shock to react, the both of you stayed frozen on the ground, with your lips still locking each other's. That was until the voices of reality snapped you back.

"Myung-Hee, are you okay?" the guy with the tiny eyes asked as he and the rest of the members rushed towards you. Despite your aching muscles, you instantly pulled away, kneeling on the ground as you got off of Mark. You shot him an apologetic look before reverting your attention back to the frantic members.

"Are you alright?" Youngjae screeched and he knelt down beside you, dramatically holding onto your arms as he examined you carefully. You let out a small, awkward laugh before nodding at him in reply.

"Mark, saved a lot of the hit," you explained and stood up from the ground, dusting off your jeans as you spoke.

"Good thing you're alright. We can't possibly injure our fan on the very first day," Jackson laughed. You unconsciously giggled as you returned his hilarious expression causing the rest of the members to burst out laughing as well. Well, except for Mark.

You finally had the courage to spin around, darting your eyes over him. You were about to apologize, but he instantly pushed past you. His hands shouldering Jackson's as he trudged across the floor, shooting you a cold glare before he stepped through the opening doors.

The other members didn't seem to notice this, so all they did was continued to joke as they led you out.

"So, Myung-Hee, tell us a little about yourself," Junior spoke up as we walked down the empty halls and into their dressing room.

"Uhh, well," you started, your voice was trailing slowly as you played with your fingers. Your mind was setting down what you wanted to say.

What do I tell them? Will they become suspicious if I don't say anything relating to K-Pop? you pondered as you slowly parted your lips to start.

"My Korean name is Park Myung-Hee, but I usually go by the name Adelyn," you spoke up, keeping your words clear as your eyes lingered on them.

"Oh, you're not Korean?" they asked, almost in sync as their eyebrows raised in confusion.

"Actually, I was born in Korea but I moved to the states a couple weeks afterward. I stayed there for about 15 years and came back to Korea when I was 16 years old," you clarified as you gave them a small awkward smile.

"Ahh!"

"Well, I'm turning 19 this year. I'm wrapping up my studies and I'm currently working part-time as a waitress, photographer, and a graphic designer," you paused, "I'm currently sharing an apartment with my best friend, Suhee, who's probably freaking out at the fact that my ticket was selected," you laughed, and nervously darted your eyes across their faces.

Please say I didn't screw up, you prayed as you watched their unreadable expressions.

"Woahh, you're not all like we expected!" Yugyeom suddenly blurted out, causing you to flinch slightly as the sudden noise.

"Yeah, we really thought you'd be one of those crazy, screaming fans. Are
