Am i dead already? 

 

Everything around me was dark. There was no sign of life.

 

Am i dreaming? ... 

 

I feel like approaching darkness...

 

every second , it's getting closer...

 

and i can't resist...

 

I'm falling into a trap, a very dangerous one...

I opened my eyes to see myself alone, for some reason i was inside of an old apartment. The sun was setting and i don't

actually remember why i came here, or i do? I stood up and walked through the exit. Everything was dead silent.

What happened to the people? I almost panicked when i felt a hand on my shoulder.

 

" They all died. " The voice behind me said. " It was god... " He added. 

I turned back and suddenly all memories returned, it was that boy i've met in the church. What god was he talking about?

Am i crazy? There is no way people died.... My left eye caught a dead body far across the street, by the tree... 

" Do you still think i was lying? " The boy asked me calmly... But wait, if they actually died, then what is he? and why is

he still alive and why didn't i die along with them?

" What are you? " I asked with a trembling voice. 

" I'm the one who found you and protected you before the end of the world. God had planned this from the beggining.

We were his experiment, nothing of what you saw the last years were actually making sense. You were his puppet. " He

said. I could distinguish the darkness in his eyes but for what reason? Why did he save me?

" Is my family ok? " I asked. The boy was silent. 

" A-Are they alive..? " I added. I wasn't ready to accept such thing.

" You have to accept it , everyone you knew is no longer here... " He said and grabbed me from the wrist. 

" You are weak, but not dead. You can follow me and i'll make you one of us. " He added. 

" Or you'll die by any minute... " He said and without hesitation he took out a strange looking needle, i've never

seen such needle. Suddenly, he injected the needle in my wrist. 

" Close your eyes... it might hurt a bit... " He whispered as he leaned to my ear. The needle was too deep in my veins, i 

wanted to scream so loud. The pain was suffering. 

" A few seconds and it'll end... " The boy said injecting the needle even deeper. My head felt dizzy and my feet burned.

" Open your eyes.... " He said leaning closer to me. His eyes had a dark red colour, like the devil. 

" I told you'd be ok...! " He said, suddenly i fainted.....

" Mom! Dad! " My sister came out of the bedroom. " There's a spider! It's very big! " She added.

 

" You can't kill the spiders, sweetie. " Mom said. 

I could listen to the conversation and ran to her bedroom, my sister was very afraid of the spiders, though, my parents

had no clue. 

" Where's the spider? " I asked my sister who was hiding behind my back. She pointed behind the chair, i immedietely

rushed there to see a huge tarantula with red eyes standing there. Looking at me. without doing anything.

I steadilly placed my hand to catch the spider, for some reason it didn't bite me, i opened the window and placed it

outside . 

" Brother!!!! " I heard a blood curdling scream behind me, i turned to face the worst nightmare. Around 20 spiders of

the same size were landing on my sister, she was about to cry.

" Stand still... don't move... " I said, approaching her slowly, the spiders didn't react when i came to them and found the 

great opportunity to grab them. They were standing there like they were fake. 

As i slowly placed them outside my bedroom my sister came and hugged me. 

" I'm very scared, older brother. " She said crying. 

" Don't be, it's all over. " I said patting her back...

" Your life is full of unfortunate events and all you could think was how to solve each one, you didn't seek deeper into

that, to see that actually this was all god's play " A voice in my head said. Am i dead?

What is happening to me?
