As they walked up to the house the door creaked open. Against their better judgement they walked in. Inside the house the furniture was dusty and old; it looked like if they would touched it would crumble to dust before my eyes. There was a strong smell of damp. They reluctantly walked into the living room. On the walls was mould eating away at them. On the table, that looked like it was struggling to hold 2 pictures. They reached for them and the table collapsed under the weight of nothing, like something has kicked it over. The picture was a man and a woman. They heard the floorboard creaking from above them. They heard a noise that sounded like someone talking. They reminded themselves that it was just the pipes, and no one has lived here for centuries, also the house was unhabitable and no one could live here now. Then suddenly the floor caved in and they fell down inot the darkness of the basement. The basement was full of cobwebs and old trunks of clothes. It felt like there was something or someone down there in the shadows just waiting to grab or drag them back into the shadows with it.
