Chapter 2: Morning Kisses

The sun broke through the curtains, waking up Joon Jae from his peaceful sleep. Yet even though he peaceful sleep was disturbed, waking up to see Takuya sleeping next to him brought him even more peace.  He never wanted to leave this spot. The warmth of the sun and the warmth of Takuya's presence, comforted him as a blanket comforted a child.

He looked at the clock.

8:47

He should have gotten up a while ago, but being able to sleep again after countless nights of restlessness due to Takuya's absence was like a gift, because it meant that Takuya was once again by his side.  

To get up, or to not get up...

Getting up would mean he could make Takuya proud by searching for a job, making their life together easier, but it would also mean moving from his spot. Staying in bed would mean he could remain by Takuya's side a little longer, but he would hear more whining and complaining from Takuya about his laziness later on.

'One more hour,' he thought to himself. '...Takuya is cute when he pouts.'

Looking at Takuya one last time before once again shutting his eyes, he wraps his arm around his lover's waist and move closer to feel even more of his warmth.

The clock had just turned to 9:12 when Takuya woke up, Joon Jae’s body pressed against his. The distance between them was so small that Takuya could feel the warmth radiating off Joon Jae’s body. As Takuya tried to look at him he could only focus on one of Joon Jae’s features at a time because of their closeness, and he couldn’t help but admire each and every aspect of his lover’s sleeping face.

The light shining into the room created a halo effect around Joon Jae’ s figure, as he had turned his back to the window, and made his already beautiful features even more stunning. His messy, chaotic, morning hair seemed to be even more wild as the tangles fell over his forehead. His eyebrows, already thick and dark, seemed to be even more so as the sunlight made Joon Jae’s skin seem lighter making them stand out. Just like his eyebrows, his eyelashes also seemed darker, as well as the shadows they cast on his almost translucent skin, making Joon Jae seem like a porcelain doll.  In fact all of his features made Takuya want to be careful with him, as if he would break under the slightest pressure, as if Joon Jae would disappear if he made one wrong move.

...Well all of his features but his lips that is…

Takuya momentarily forgot to breath when looking at those lips. The slight way they were opened as Joon Jae slept, made them seem almost too kissable... too desirable... too tempting.  Gently Takuya ran his thumb along the edge of Joon Jae’s lips, half hoping the sleeping man would wake up to kiss him senseless and half hoping he would remain asleep so he could continue his private admirations.

The miniscule distance between them suddenly seemed too far, and Takuya closed the distance by snuggling into Joon Jae’s neck. But he automatically regretted it, as Joon Jae’s scent and warmth encased him even more and he found himself not able to resist any longer.

He started to place kisses along Joon Jae’s collar bone, and once he got bored there he moved up to the neck. As he moved up the neck, Joon Jae started to move beside him, and ended up turning to lay on his back. Takuya took advantage of this as he too shifted and moved. Now straddling Joon Jae, he once again started placing kisses at Joon Jae’s collar bone. As he moved upward, Joo Jae started to become aware of the sensations of Takuya on top of him, kissing him, and now whispering sweet nothings to try and get Joon Jae to wake up too. But Joon Jae was enjoying this peppering of kisses too much to give Takuya the satisfaction of waking him up and responding to his touch, so he pretended to remain asleep.

Takuya continued to move upward with his kisses, now kissing Joon Jae’s face everywhere but his lips. As his kisses traced over Joon Jae’s face they had the feather like lightness to them, as Takuya was afraid of breaking such a precious doll. But as it became obvious that he in fact would not break under slight pressure, the kisses became more passionate and less sensitive. Getting frustrated by Joon Jae continuing to sleep, and not knowing that he wasn’t actually asleep, he tried to coax Joon Jae awake by whispering in his ear.

“Joon Jae wake up, I am bored!”

...no response…

“Joon Jae, play with me!

...nothing…

“Joon Jae, wake up!”

…

“I will make you breakfast!”

…

Takuya’s cheerfulness is now gone as he looks at the unresponsive, sleeping figure below him, and he gets more frustrated with every failed attempt at waking him up.

“Wake up!”

…

“Fine! Wake up alone by yourself!” He pouted, “I am going to make myself breakfast, you lazy bastard!”

As Takuya started to move to get off of Joon Jae, Joon Jae suddenly flipped the two of them over, startling Takuya in the process, so that he was  now on top, smiling mischievously at the shocked Takuya. He leaned down and kissed Takuya still pouted lips, and then pulled back away to look at the man underneath him.

“I love it when you pout.” He states laughing, as Takuya realizes what just happened.

“You basta-!” He is cut off by Joon Jae’s lips on his, and he couldn’t help but to respond as he too moved his lips against Joon Jae’s with a force that would most definitely break a porcelain doll.
