As a mediocre student in a top school, Jung SooYeon has always been putting her studies first for the sake of her demanding mother. Walking home one day she crosses paths with a group of bizarre fashion design students who choose her to model in their upcoming fashion show. At first she is reluctant but as time passes she learns that there is more to life than studies and soon chooses a path far different from what her mother expects.

CHARACTERS:

Jung SooYeon (Jessica) as Yakari ‘Caroline’ Hayasaka

A high school senior who is studying dutifully for her university entrance exams. She is girl who cannot find any meaning in her life and finds that every day is mundane and repetitive.  Often referred to as Jessica by the  Parakiss crew. Through the story she discovers her ambitions and a new meaning to life.

Kim Heechul as George Koizumi

An eccentric and charismatic student at SM fashion school who has an uncommon gift for fashion design. Despite his cold personality, He has extraordinary  ideas on everything. He feels that Jessica does not take responsibility for her mistakes and that she blames everything on anything other than herself. He is a wealthy young bachelor living in a pent house. A son of a successful business man but his mother is just his mistress.

Tiffany Hwang as Miwako Sakurada

A unique student of SM fashion school who works with Heechul creating their own brand ‘ParaKiss’. Tends to act in a childlike manner. She is sweet and cute and is adored by many of the characters. Girlfriend of Lee Donghae.

Lee Donghae as Arashi Nagase

He is a student of SM fashion school who has a taste for punk rock style. He is the boyfriend of Tiffany Hwang and together they are childhood friends with Choi Siwon. He has a cynical sort of behaviour but cares deeply about those around him. He is a reasonable person and is also apart of creating the brand ‘ParaKiss’

Park Leeteuk as Isabella Yamamoto

The mother figure of Parakiss. She is very feminine and inspired one of Heechul’s first dresses. Leeteuk encourages Jessica when she needs it most. She is a transgender woman. Her  or shall I say his real name is Park JungSu.

Choi Siwon as Hiroyuki Tokumori

Jessica’s classmate who is handsome and intelligent. He is the boy of Jessica’s unrequited love at the beginning of the story. He was once in love with Tiffany. He is at the top of his class and aspires to become a physician. He eventually falls for Jessica.

Lee Sunny as Kaori Aso

A student attending SM fashion school. She is the rival of Heechul but the two are friends. She has romantic feelings for Heechul but knows he is not the one. Always tries to beat Heechul in fashion design.
