You've lived in Hawaii all your life, and it's always been a problem that there aren't enough adorable asian guys around.
You are you. Other people will call you Kay. Your friends are all so Hawaiin. They don't understand you or your love of asian culture. So when you see a cute Japanese guy hiding behind a clothes rack at the mall, you're just so excited that you don't even bother to wonder why he's there in the first place. This boy behind the coat rack makes you overcome your shyness. You come up behind him and smile when you see that he's clutching a brown suede coat over his body, but he's too tall for it to cover him. The chemistry between the two of you is buzzing, but he doesn't even see you yet.
Little do you know that this is Ryan Higa, the adorable, halirious top-subscribed youtuber. Not only is he famous, but he's still so down-to-earth and genuine.
But that's going to change very fast.
Foreword
"You gonna pay for that?" you whisper in his ear, "cause you're gonna tear the seam if you keep pulling it like that.". When did you become so outgoing? He doesn't appreciate your boldness. He jumps and looks in the eyes with a mixture of hate and fear that you know you don't deserve.
"What, you gonna take my picture?" He asks. How arrogant is this guy?
"No....." You say, suddenly feeling like you're missing something important, "why would I take a picture of a random guy in the mall?" These words seem to fix what was bothering him before. Before you can ask for an explanation, he wraps his arms around you in grateful hug. You take in a whiff of his sweet cologne on soft sweater, and you're just beginning to admire the outline of his abs when he pulls away and is sprinting in the other direction. You shrug in confusion and are about to turn away when you see him turn around to look at you. You see him drop a slip of paper on the ground, and then he smiles. There's something familiar about that smile, but you can't put your finger on it. So you walk over and pick up the paper, where a note has been scrawled in messing blue ink.
"It's been a while since I met a stranger. 555-234-6586" the note reads.
You smile and walk away, unaware that you've just shared the beginnings of beautiful story with Ryan Higa.
