「Your POV」

It was 8 in the evening, but I'm still hanging out in my favorite cafe savouring my favorite ice cream. Too lazy to go home. I know what I'll get if I got home late. But it doesn't affect me that much; lectured. For me, the funnier part is if parents actually locked you up in your room.

Counted myself lucky for having a not-so-protective parents. They will only lecture me if I was being too stubborn or thick-headed (I don't really see the difference.) And... if I got home late. I even started to feel that they got bored to bear with my not-so-healthy habit–ice cream. In fact, they should've just stock a few Baskin Robbins at home if they want me to get home early.

I've been stirring my ice cream for quite sometime now–and it doesn't look like it's edible anymore, but I like it that way, while my mind wander off somewhere. But suddenly, I heard some girls gossiping about something and decided to have my ear on it. They're talking about something that feels quite familiar to my ear. A website. I think their gossip would be interesting so I move my head forward for a bit.

"What kind of website is it?" One of the girl asked. She too seemed interested in discussing this matter. I looked at her face and I think she caked her face with a little too much powder. But what caught my eyes to look was actually the way she applied it. The tone of her face and neck was so different and it was truly visible for everyone to see by the first glance. Her lipstick was red and then grey shade for her eyes. Gee. Is she covering a bruise or something? She seriously needed a beauty class. When I look at their uniform, they came from the same school as me.

"Hacker. You've never heard of it? I'm sure you have. It was a hot topic in our groups." Now a girl with a shoulder-length hair next to her answered. She's pretty. But I don't compare people to the other. But to me instead. If you ask someone who's prettier between me and that girl. Me would definitely be the answer. Pardon my positive personality.

I smiled thinking about it. Mentally of course. Sane enough not to make people frown at me for smiling there on my seat while I was actually doing nothing with no one but stirring my ice crea– no scratch that. Water cream. Ha.

I was always satisfied with my looks. Knowing that I'm different from others; my way of thinking. I like it better alone. Only talk when asked, about school lessons only. I don't like to talk about trash topics–a.k.a gossip. Only move when needed. Never greet people nor initiate a chit-chat. I think it consumes too much of my energy. They greet me first. And talking about grades? I got flying colors every time.

My name was always on top of the list.

Enough zooming off I looked at the girls again. And back in track to their topic.

I think I've heard about that hacker thing before. I tried to recall but... ah I guess no.

"Aish! Just... can't we just talk about anything else but this? That website is a creepy thing you know." Another girl said. From the way she say it, it makes me even more interested. Creepy? What stupid website are they talking about now exactly?

"Yeah, I checked it out once. But never did I ever thought about creating an account. And I've deleted the application. And it's okay just to have a peek." The shoulder-length haired girl said as she shrugged her shoulder.

"I think I know that website. And I also heard that there are only twelve account holders? And they are called..." "Hacker. Of course." What? Only twelve? Why? They said it was a famous website but then they said that only twelve people owned an account. Ridiculous. I was too curious about this funny website and decided to just check it out myself.

I typed 'Hacker' on google and the very first result that showed was the website address itself, www.hacker.com. I hesitated at first because it gave me some weird eerie feeling. Thanks to their gossip. Nothing will happen right? I only want to see the darn site. Nothing scary will show up right? As long as I don't create an account. I was still thinking is this a safe thing to do but then my curiosity won over my hesitation.

Finally I clicked the address and then waited for it to load with my heart beating like a scared rabbit. I almost feel that my hand was shaking,
