a letter to my favorite oppahayoung picked up the pen. she stared at the blank lined paper.
what should i write?
"what are you doing, hayoung-ah?" bomi asked the younger one
as she sat next to her.
"i'm a writing a letter to a special someone," hayoung answered.
"but i don't know what to write." she sighed and looked down.
"i know what you can write," bomi said. hayoung looked at her.
"you can write about how you feel about that person."
"thank you, unnie." hayoung said and began to write the letter.
bomi smiled and leaned closer to read what she was writing.
"unnie!" hayoung shouted. bomi chuckled and moved away.
"i'll be leaving now." bomi annouced and slipped out of her
room.
hayoung stopped for a while to think then wrote again. by the
afternoon, she was finished. she stared at the finished letter and
smiled.

elementary and part of middle school together. i was the little
