(Childhood)

Reality is different to everyone. But everyone is unique. Park Shin Hye is a genius prodigy but due to being told her entire life by her peers (schoolmates and teachers) that she was useless, she doubted her own abilities. The only ones who accepted her was her best/only friend, Mum Julie and her family. Her hidden talents were deep within her; hidden in all her pain. Her past is a terrible one. A memory she wishes to forget. The father who was supposed to be her family's guiding light, leaves her mother and herself, at the age of 3 and a half. He took everything the family needed. He took her brother, the soul of her mother and the love the family had. That was marked the day the mother she knew, died. Every night, she would drink at a bar and when she came home, she was too drunk to notice she was abusing her own child; the only one she had left. Although it hurt Shin Hye, nothing could compare to the sight of her mother in so much pain. So, she let her mum beat her up. Shin Hye was a genius. She knew everything that went around her. After a couple of weeks living like that, her mother was sober enough one morning, to realise her mistakes. As quickly as she could, she sent Shin Hye to her brother, telling him to send her to a really close friend she had in Adelaide, Australia. Her close friend was 22 and had a kid. That reassured her enough to know she was able to take care of Shin Hye.

On the day her mother sent her to her uncle,  Kim Suk Yeun, she gave Shin Hye a wrapped box. But Shin Hye never had the heart to open it. She felt so dejected. Who wouldn't when their own parents abondened her. When she was 12 turning 13, she started grade 8 (high school). After half of first semester, she moved without her schoolmates and her best friend knowing. Mum Julie refused to reveal why, following the wishes of Park Shin Hye herself. At the end of the first semester, Min-Hyuk, along with his family, went back to Seoul, Korea.

(A/N: I decided to make Min-Hyuk the same age as her and why she left will be revealed in the story.)

Meanwhile, Jung Yong Hwa lived a normal life. He was happy. He had all he needed. His family, friends and his music. Yong Hwa is extremely talented in music. It soothes him when he's worried or upset. He shares his love for music with his best friend Lee Jong Hyun, the best kid guitarist in Busan. At the age of 10, his parents suddenly told him that they were moving to Seoul, due to his father's promotion. He was happy for his dad, but deep down, he didn't want to leave the only place he's ever known. Especially his relatives and friends. After 6 months, he lost contact with everyone in Busan. At the beginning of grade 7, Lee Jong Hyun transferred to Seoul, reuniting with his best friend, Jung Yong Hwa. He was now 13, first year of junior high. (Grade 8 - I don't know how it works there but where I live, it's like that) Towards the end of first semester, he, along with Lee Jong Hyun, made two new best friends, Kang Min-Hyuk and Lee Jung Shin. They were inseperable. 

(A/N: All will be revealed in the story. I only came up with this last night, so it's a bit messy. The message I'll be trying to portray is, 'Don't let anyone tell you the limitations of your abilities, you decide how far you want to go'. Please be patient with me. I'm still new at this. Thank you)
