They’re different.

Chanyeol is loud, he’s not. He likes to leave the light on when he drifts to sleep. Chanyeol doesn’t. Chanyeol likes meat medium well, he only has a bite when it’s burnt to perfection.

Kyungsoo doesn’t understand how they work.

It’s surprising because usually Kyungsoo knows a lot of things.

He knows that when Chanyeol is happy, his eyes are shimmering with delight. When he’s sad, he only calms down if Kyungsoo is there to hold him tight. And when Chanyeol whispers I love you, his heart answers by skipping a beat.

Maybe that skip is the answer.
