WHAT LOVE REALLY IS

There's a slight difference between falling in love and failing in love..

"Why do you fight for us? For something that's impossible? Don't you know if it's a war that we've lost years ago?" her voice broke and at that moment I noticed the drips coming down her cheeks.

I looked away from her hurting eyes, afraid of the guilt.

I closed my eyes before saying,

"I don't know.." I shrugged a little and felt her brows scrunched a bit

I opened my mouth and hope words would come out but nothing came out.

I took a deep breath before trying again, 

"maybe..."

"maybe because it's not us that I fight for, it's you.."
