S.M. Entertainment’s latest boy group EXO is officially on hiatus. Ex-members Luhan and Kris have yet to fully conclude their lawsuits with the company after a year and with the addition of another member, Tao, leaving as well, S.M. has their hands full with court meetings and lawyers.

Today’s press conference aims to resolve the rumors of disbandment and officially address the status of the group. The ten-member group maintains a solemn expression throughout the conference, with no hint at what is to be expected.

“We keep getting thrown into discussions like these and are expected to provide answers to questions that even we do not fully understand. Four years ago, even one year ago, a scenario like this did not even exist in my mind, but now that it is a reality, it is something we all have to deal with on our own. From the bottom of my soul, I am praying that even with everything that is happening, EXO will still remain in the hearts  of all the fans as a group worth their love and support, and worth waiting for. We hope to show you a better and improved us in the near future. Thank you,” states EXO leader Suho at the press conference.

As the members walked off the stage, it seems neither the media audience, nor the fans know how this debacle will end. Seeing the seriousness written on the faces of the EXO members instead of their usual charismatic smiles, one must wonder which direction EXO will head towards?
