Onew POV

I sat in the waiting room with a quiet Minho, a trying-to-comfort-Key Taemin, a crying Key, and worried AND crying Soshi Sisters.

The nurse came out.

Nurse: Which two of you is Onew and Key?

Key looked up and Key and I walked with the nurse into the doctor's office.

Doctor: Hello Key and Onew. I'm doctor Leeteuk.

Leeteuk: I called you both in because both patient suffered of the same casualty so I didn't want to waste my breath.

Me: What happened to them?

Key held his breath.

Leeteuk: They both got shot by a Glock 19, a pistol, and are going to go though surgery to remove the bullet soon.

My heart skipped a beat.

Key: What would be the results..

He said it so softly, I could've sworn he wasn't event talking.

Dr. Leeteuk sighed.

Leetuk: Well, if they make it through surgery, they will have full recovery.. but if they don't,...they won't be able to use that leg ever again.

Key's eye grew as wide as Minho's. Maybe even bigger.

 

Key POV

The sound of JJong not being able to use his leg anymore scared me.

That would mean..no more SHINee...

I felt tears threatening to fall from my eyes but I held the back in.

Leetuk: Do you want to see them before the operation?

I nodded and he led us to their cubicle.

They lied there motionless but breathing.

I ran to Jongie's bed and started sobbing my heart out.

Me: Jongie! *cries* I'm so sorry. *cries more* I-If I hadn't start running, *sniffles* you wouldn't have gotten hurt. I'm *cries* so sorry.

He didn't reply. I sat there holding his hand and crying.

Onew was next to Jessica silent. He was crying but he didn't let it show.

Onew left Jessica's side and went to me.

He placed a comforting hand on my shoulder.

Onew: C'mon Key. Let's go. They have to get ready for operation.

I bursted at him.

Me: NO! I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE HIS SIDE. WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENED? I'M NOT GONNA BE THERE! AND IF I'M NOT THERE THEN THAT MAKES ME A HORRIBLE BOYFRIEND!!!

Onew: Shh..He knows that you love him. Don't worry. They will make it though the operation. I trust Dr. Leeteuk.

He didn't sound so sure himself...

 

Taemin POV

After Umma and Onew-hyung left, I turned to Minho-hyungiee.

Me: Minho-hyungie?

Minho looked at me.

Minho: What is it Minnie-ah?

Me: What..is going to happen to Dino-hyung...

Minho: *sigh* I really have no idea Minnie. We could only hope he gets better arasso?

I nodded.

Me: Do you think Key-umma is going to be alright?

Tears formed in my eyes at the thought of Umma.

Minho used a finger and wiped my tears away.

Minho: I don't think so. He's going to be pretty broken but you have to stay strong for him. He's going to need you more than every right now.

Minho-hyungie was right. I saw Umma coming out with Onew-hyung.

I ran to him and gave him a big hug.

Me: Don't worry Umma, Dino-hyung will be alright.

He looked at me hopefully and I nodded.

Me: C'mon. Minho-hyung will buy us banana milk and anything you want.

At the sound of buy Umma anything he wanted made Minho eyes widen.

Minho:BWOH??

I glared at him.

Me: Minho-hyungie you ARE going to buy Umma whatever he wants RIGHT????

Minho: Yes..

Me: GOOD.

I turned to Key.

Me: See? Let's go. C'mon Onew-hyung.

Onew-hyung shook his head.

Onew: I'm going to stay here until the operation is over.

I tilted my head.

Me: Minho-hyung will buy you chicken.

Minho's eyes grew wide again.

Minho: BWOH?? I AM??

I glared at him once again.

Me: YES YOU ARE.

Onew: As tempting as that sounds, I'm staying. Jessica is going to be scared when she realizes where she is.

Key: I think I'm going to wait for Jonghyun too.

Me: Then I can ask Minho-hyung to go for a togo.

Minho nodded.

Me: Umm..3 packs of banana milk, a bucket of fried chicken, and soshi sisters, you want anything?

They shook their heads.

Me: Okay, 3 packs of banana milk, a bucket of fried chicken, and anything else you want arasso?

Minho nodded and game me a quick kiss before he left.

 

Taeyeon POV

I'm so glad that Jessica found a guy that will treat her right and love her like Onew-oppa.

I have Donghae so everything is going well.

I saw Taemin trying to confort crying Key. I hope Jonghyun would get better so that Key can be happy again. After all, as the oldest of the Soshi sisters, I owe Key for helping Jessica have her fairytale moment.

My phone vibrated and I pulled it out.

It was a text from Donghae.

Taeng baby! Where are you? I'm worried<33

 

I texted him back.

I'm at the emergency room.

 

To: Taeng baby<3

From: Fishyboo<3

What? Why?? Are you okayy? Did anything happen??

I'm going to drive there right now!

 

To: Fishyboo<3

From: Taeng baby<3

My long lost sister, Jessica, got shot and is now in the middle of operation.

 

To: Taeng baby<3

From: Fishyboo<3

Awww. It's okay baby. I'll be there soon to hold you close and for you to cry on if you need to.

From: Taeng baby<3

Okay. Thanks. I love you.

I love you too.

 

I closed my phone and waited for him to come and for Jessica and Jonghyun to come out from operation...

My eyelids drooped and I soon fell asleep...
