Chapter 1: Wow. Emotional stuff. Well-written and heartbreaking. I'm sad this was a one-shot since it leaves me with so many questions. What lead to this stage in their relationship? Was it gradual or a singular event? And if they are only engaged, why not call it off? Again, great job at capturing a sad chapter in these people's lives.
