Taehyun found himself alone at the back of classroom that morning, any other day and it would have been normal for him, but he was somehow anticipating the arrival of Mino, the guy who seemed to more than a handsome face, the guy who seemed to be a whole lot nicer than the other students. But everything converted back to normal as Mino never made an entrance, finding himself alone to do the experiment he so desperately wanted avoid. He pulled the white lab coat onto his body, buttoning each part up and placing the safety glasses on properly, the thought of having acidic substances burning through his skin already causing him to cringe away.

With his paper aligned neatly on his desk, he had already drawn out the table to record all his data, pencil sharpened and ready to go. It took all his concentration to complete the experiment, chemistry being a worse subject for him even than maths. The only subject he was good at was music, but he had to drop that last year under the commands of his father. It took a while, but eventually he had done the experiment and cleaned his space away in time for lunch, shoving the recorded data into his bag in order to complete the calculations for tomorrow, and as usual, he dashed out the classroom.

Now my uniform is all messy.”  With a whine, Taehyun fixed himself up, soon widening his eyes as he realised that it wasn’t the janitor who came out of the room, but Mino, soon dipping his head in an apologetic manner. “Sorry, I thought you were the janitor.”

“Nah, it’s cool, sorry ‘bout that. Some stupid kids ruined my locker.” Mino snorted, shaking his head in dismay at the actions of the students, moving aside to allow Taehyun to enter the room. It wasn’t a big room, but there was a small table, cupboards along each wall and a small window for fresh air to get in, the visible parts of the walls were dark and it wasn’t a great atmosphere, but it was good enough for Taehyun, and now, it would have to be good enough for Mino too. “So did I miss much in class this morning?
