Sowon sighed at the sight of pink post-it notes stuck on the fridge. It was another Friday for her inside their dorm alone.

"What are these kids up to right now?" she thought to herself as she took the notes from the fridge to read them.

Ever since their debut song's promotions and the taping for their reality show had ended, the girls had been spending their days either in their dorm doing nothing or in the practice room training for the new choreography for their next song. But most of the time, her members are busy with their own individual activities: Yerin doing web dramas, SinB and Eunha doing magazine photoshoots, Yuju recording for movie and drama soundtracks, and Umji taping commercial films. And then there was Sowon, left alone inside the dorm and doing the household chores all by herself.

Sowon unnie: Yerin, Eunha, and I went to Sangguk Park for a photoshoot. We'll be back before 6, and we'll bring you ice cream cake! -SinB

"Ah, why are you guys always busy?" Sowon sighed as she took a seat beside the dining table and placing the post-it notes on top of the table. She couldn't help but feel happy and jealous of her members at the same time: they seemed always busy, and she was already feeling a bit left out.

Since when was the last time she went out to attend an event? It has been two months, Sowon thought, and after that, she spent more time inside their dorm and the practice room.

"Maybe I should start doing the laundry," Sowon stood up, and went inside Yerin's room to get her laundry. Next was Yuju's, SinB's, and then Umji's.

But even before she could take Eunha's laundry, she heard a knock from the front door.

Sowon was startled. Who would even come and visit at 10 in the morning?

She slowly walked towards the door, with her guard up, and a broomstick on her hand. She was a very cautious person, mainly because she was trained to be like that since childhood, and now that she became a leader in a girl group, she made a promise to herself to take care of her younger members with all of her might.

Sowon held the doorknob, but she didn't open the door. She waited for the person outside to knock again.

And a few seconds passed, a knock was heard again.

Sowon took a deep breath before calling out, "Who's there?!"

"Ah, Sojung. It's me!"

Sowon's eyes widened. The voice was familiar, albeit a bit muffled coming from the other side of the wooden door. She immediately opened the door, and saw a tall man wearing an orange snapback, black shirt, khaki pants, and rubber shoes standing outside carrying a box of doughnuts with a wide smile on his face.

"Hi!" he greeted warmly.

"Mr. Kim?" Sowon creased her forehead, "What brings you here?"

"Um, I'm here to bring you guys doughnuts," the man smiled, "I told Umji I'd come over here today, so--"

"They are not here," Sowon answered with a hint of annoyance in her voice, "They all have appointments today. If you want, Mr. Kim, I'll take the doughnuts and tell them that you came here to give these," she spoke as she tried taking the box of doughnuts away from Mr. Kim.

But the older man insisted, "I can wait for them to come back. Maybe I can help you around here," he held the box tighter, "And why do you keep calling me 'mister'? I'm not that old yet! Calling me Hyung Eun would be fine," he laughed.

But Sowon was not amused.

"Um, Hyung Eun, I think your help isn't needed," she answered, “I can manage around here. I'll be fine."

"Are you going to do the laundry? I can help!" Hyung Eun beamed before making his way inside despite Sowon's attempts of blocking him. Because he was taller and stronger than her, Sowon seemed like she was blocking a moving brick wall.

"Looks like we'll do a lot of cleaning today," Hyung Eun remarked with a wide smile on his face as he placed the box of doughnuts on the table. Sowon quickly followed him inside with an irritated look on her face.

"Please, Hyung Eun, just leave," she seethed, trying to control her annoyance because Hyung Eun happened to be their manager.

"Sojung, chill," he snickered, "I'm not going to do anything evil to you. You know I like cute girls who are quite short," he grinned, and Sowon already knew that their manager was already making fun of her.

"You are not funny," she huffed before going back inside Eunha's room to get her laundry. It was certainly not her day.

Sowon quickly went inside the laundry room and segregated their clothes. Hyung Eun followed her inside.

"How may I help you, ma'am?" he smiled as he stood beside her.

Sowon glared at him, "Kindly evaporate and never show up again!" she said before continuing with the laundry. She was already expecting that Hyung Eun would leave her with that harsh statement of hers... but he didn't.

"I'll separate Yuju's white clothes from the colored ones," Hyung Eun spoke calmly, as if he didn't hear anything.

"Hyung Eun, you don't need to!" Sowon spoke as she held Hyung Eun's arm to stop him.

"I'll be fine, Sojung, and don't worry, I know how to use a washing machine," he smiled before removing her hands from his arm.

Sowon bit her lip in anxiousness. Her annoyance was slowly being replaced by guilt. It did seem like Hyung Eun only meant well, so she let him help her with the laundry.

But they finished the whole task without talking to, and even looking at, each other.

"So, what are we going to do next?" Hyung Eun asked, still with a cheerful face on, "Are we going to change bedsheets?"

"No," Sowon answered as she closed the laundry room's door, "I'll be cleaning the windows."

"Oh," Hyung Eun quickly went to the kitchen and took pieces of cloth from the cupboard, "We'll be cleaning the windows," he grinned as he approached Sowon to give her a cloth. Sowon creased her forehead after realizing Hyung Eun's emphasis on the pronoun 'we'.

"Managers don't do this, I hope you know that," Sowon muttered as she straightened the cloth in front of her.

"I know," Hyung Eun nodded, "But it's a regular day today. Just think of me as your older brother, or your housekeeper," he chuckled.

Sowon couldn't help but crack a smile; she didn't expect their manager to have such dry sense of humor.

Sowon had been seeing Kim Hyung Eun around their building ever since she transferred to Source Entertainment. Her co-trainees back then would talk about how good-looking Hyung Eun is, although he would always show a cold demeanor in front of everyone. That intrigued Sowon, but she had convinced herself to stay focused on her training and stop minding with the things she wasn't supposed to.

And then the day came for their group's debut. Sowon had the shock of her life when Hyung Eun became their manager. A part of her wanted to know him, but a part of her was telling her to stop. Hyung Eun became close to the other members except for her, mainly because she was setting a distance between her and her manager.

And one thing she noticed about Hyung Eun is that she was the only member he calls by real name.

"Are you okay?"

Sowon got cut off from her daydream when she noticed that Hyung Eun was already staring at her with a confused look on his face, "Sojung? Is everything alright?"

Sowon was startled, "A-- Of course, I'm okay!" she held her head as she walked towards the living room to start cleaning the windows. But Hyung Eun still had a worried expression on his face.
