Part 2

Vloggers, Fanboys, & Translators

Your video is uploading…

“Jongdae!  Why is it so slow?!  Do you have any idea how many fans are waiting for it?  We haven’t uploaded in two weeks!”

“I don’t control the speed of YouTube, Luhan.”

“Yeah, Luhan.”  Yixing mumbles from the sofa he’s napping on.  “It’s not Jongdae’s fault the website is slow.  However, it’s still technically his fault the video is late, he took forever writing our script.”

“That’s right!”  Luhan gasps.  “Way to go, Jongdae.  It’s all your fault.”

“Well, maybe if you two would bother to actually learn Korean you could write the script yourselves.”

Jongdae rolls his eyes and tunes out the two while they spew their usual excuses for not learning Korean.  It was never his intention to be here.  Sitting in Luhan’s bedroom, uploading a video that he filmed, wrote the script, and will never get the credit for.  It was all thanks to his bad luck.

Ever since he was young he dreamt of studying abroad.  Of meeting new people, trying new food, learning new languages.  However, he never actually factored in the studying part.  He was a natural when it came to Chinese, unfortunately that talent for language never translated to a talent for school.

He failed his first year at the university, his host family kicked him out, and he had no desire to return to Korea as a failure.  That left one option, two saviors by the names Luhan and Yixing.  They met in university and were quick to offer Jongdae housing in their apartment, with just one thing in exchange.  Jongdae had to be the behind the scenes man in what he refers to as a huge scam.

Luhan and Yixing truthfully had the best intentions.  Make a YouTube account introducing Chinese and China to a mainly Korean audience.  Share their culture and make easy money.  They were just using Jongdae to cheat a bit.

Jongdae didn’t like it from the start, but what can he do?  Not only do they let him live with them, they also happen to be his best friends.  God knows why.

“You know, I don’t think this fan meeting is a good idea.”  Jongdae says, while picking out some comments to reply to.  “Don’t you think the fans will figure out what’s going on when they talk to you, and you know, you guys can’t answer?”

“Do you honestly think we didn’t already solve that problem?”  Yixing laughs.

“Okay, and what’s your genius solution?”

“Well, I talked to my cousin-”

“Luhan, please tell me it’s not the same cousin that gave you guys those tranquilizer darts, that was not a fun experience.”  Jongdae shudders.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about…”  Luhan giggles awkwardly and looks away.

“Regardless of who it was,” Yixing steps in holding a silver box.  “These things are awesome.”

He opens the box with a smirk and Jongdae cautiously looks in to see what looks like a Bluetooth and two ear pieces.

“We can put these in our ears and you sit in the back with the Bluetooth, they’re connected so we can speak through them.”  Luhan explains with a smug face, giving Yixing a high five.

“Wow, you guys are so smart and innovative.”  Jongdae says, voice dripping with sarcasm.

“No need to point out the obvious.”  Luhan remarks in an infuriatingly self-satisfied tone.  “Now, let’s go get some coffee, I’m in the mood to see someone who isn’t the two of you.”

“Ouch, Lu.  I think you almost hurt my feelings.”  Yixing cries, his smile betraying his false sadness.

Jongdae scoffs at their antics and follows after them after making sure to grab Luhan’s wallet, he figures Baekhyun wouldn’t be too pleased to give them free drinks with yet another “I forgot my wallet” excuse.

Yixing&Luhan @XingHanTV

We hope any fans from abroad took time to tour around the city, there are many sights to see that are far more impressive than us.  In fact we’re really not that great, we forget to brush our teeth in the morning and play video games until three in the morning and-

“What do you think you’re doing?”  Yixing asks, his eyes boring holes into Jongdae’s head.

“J-just tweeting.”  Jongdae replies, quickly backspacing the tweet.

“I never forget to brush my teeth.”  Yixing grumbles, grabbing the phone.  “That’s only Luhan.”

“Wow!  How did you understand that?  Did your Korean improve?”

“Intuition.”  Yixing replies mysteriously before walking into the corner of the café and sitting down.

Out of the corner of his eye Jongdae sees Chanyeol making his way over so he quickly runs the other direction and joins Luhan at the counter.

“Get us the regular please, Baekhyun.”  Luhan orders, leaning on the counter with his head in his hands.  Jongdae hands Luhan’s card to Baekhyun quickly, giving him a knowing grin.

Minutes later Baekhyun sets down a tray containing three regular Americanos.

“Why are you laughing?”  Jongdae questions him, glancing suspiciously at the other man’s elated face.

“I was just thinking about these guys that came in a few days ago.”  Baekhyun replies, crossing his arms and leaning his hip on the edge of the counter.  “They were huge fans of Luhan and Yixing and asked for whatever they usually order, but I gave them the most expensive drink instead.”

“What?!”  Luhan roars, frowning at Baekhyun’s satisfied grin.  “How could you do that to our fans?  They are precious!”

“Actually, they’re pushovers.”  Baekhyun winks, walking back toward the register to greet the new customers.  “Enjoy your cheap Americanos!”  He yells with a wave over his shoulder.

“Okay, the next question is: What is your ideal type?”  Yixing reads off the phone in his hands.  “So, Luhan?  What’s your ideal type?”

“That’s easy, our fans of course!”  Luhan winks at the camera.  “If you’re our fan than you’re already in my heart!”

“You’re disgusting.”  Yixing pretends to gag before smiling dreamily at the camera.  “For me, I like the smart type.  A little nerdy, a little awkward, but extremely adorable.  That’s the person for me!”

“That’s pretty specific, Xing.  Do you think you’ll be able to find a person like that?”

“The last time I was in Korea I visited a shaman and she told me the person I’m meant to be with will find me, so I’m not worried!”  Yixing laughs.  Luhan smirks at the camera and pointed.

“Yixing’s soulmate!  You better find him!”  He threatens with an attempt at a scary face.

“I hope you find your soulmate too, Lu.”  Yixing smiles.  “But I don’t think it will be that hard.”

“Testing…Testing…Testing.”  Jongdae drones on and on, sprawled on his chair behind the blue curtain that hung behind the fan signing table.  “Can anyone hear me?”

“Yep!”  Luhan cheers.

“Loud and clear!”  Yixing screams.

“God, Xing.”  Jongdae pulls the Bluetooth out and rubs his ear.  “I can definitely hear you, too.”

He stands up from the chair and stretches before pulling the curtain back and joining his friends at the table.

The signing table is set up on a low stage in a fairly large room of the convention.  There are various people bustling around the room, setting up the food and drinks, placing the chairs in neat rows, and doing last minute checks on the mikes.  Jongdae is halfway impressed.

“You guys are actually pretty popular, aren’t you?”  Jongdae muses.

“Says the person who basically runs everything.”  Luhan smacks his arm.  “You should know better than anyone how popular we are.”

“I guess I just do it without paying much attention.”  Jongdae shrugs.

“Well, I hope you pay attention today.”  Yixing says, handing him a notebook and pencil.  “The question segment is first so you’ll need to do quick translating.  Good luck!”

Jongdae pouts as he drags himself back into his chair behind the curtain.  He begins to doodle in the notebook as he waits for the stupid event to start.  He is really starting to miss Korea.

Jongdae can hear as the fans begin to enter, the room filling with noise in mere minutes.  The question portion is surprisingly easy.  Since the fan meeting is in China the majority of the fans that attend are Chinese and ask their questions in the language.  Some Korean fans attempt to use Chinese while the others just speak Korean, Jongdae has an easy time translating.  The questions are never very in depth, just cute questions that are expected from fangirls and have simple answers.

The question time is dwindling to an end with just a few minutes left when Jongdae hears a loud bang.  He wishes he could see what was happening as the whole room goes silent and a soft cough is heard before a male voice speaks.

“Sorry we’re late.”  The guy giggles, sounding excruciatingly awkward.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Kris.”  “Kris!”  “Kriiiiisssss!!!”
“God, Jongin!”  The leader of the gang turns to the whining one.  “What the hell do you want?”
“I’m bored, when are we going to be done here?”
“Kyungsoo is back there dealing with the owner now, if he doesn’t get the money that’s due soon then I’ll take care of it.  Just chill before I shoot you.”
“Fine.”  Jongin sighs before turning toward the trio of friends kneeling on the ground.  Sehun looks up with terrifying eyes as he feels Jongin looking at them.  Jongin grins at him, Sehun looks away quickly.
“Hey.”  Jongin nudges him with his foot.  “Hey!”  He plops down on the ground next to him and pokes him.  “Look at me, punk.”  Sehun nervously lifts his head up.  “So, what are you guys here for?”
“Eh?”  Sehun gives him a surprised face.
“You heard me, why are you in China?”
“U-um…”  Sehun looks like he is about to puke after glancing down at Jongin’s gun.  Joonmyun quickly speaks up.
“We’re fans of a vlogging duo, Yixing and Luhan.  We came to go to their fan meeting.”  Jongin’s eyebrows shoot up at his words and he laughs.
“Seriously?!”  He booms, clapping his hands as he laughs.  Kris frowns at his explosion and walks over with his hand on his gun and a serious look in his eyes.
“What is this about, Kim Jongin?”  Kris glares.  “You shouldn’t be acting like this while we’re on the job.”
Jongin just rolls his eyes and stands up.  “Get up.”  He demands to the three on the ground.  They all look at Kris nervously, and Jongin gives them an exasperated look and motions for them to get up fast.  The stand slowly and Kris frowns at Jongin even deeper.
“Kris!”  Jongin grins and hit his arm.  Minseok thinks this guy is pretty brave.  “These guys are fans of Luhan!”
“Luhan?”  Kris’s eyebrows shoot up, and he gives them a shocked look.  “And Yixing?”
“Yeah!  They came here for their fan meeting!”
“Hmm.”  Kris hums thoughtfully before giving a motion to Jongin with his head.  Kris’s arms shoot out, grabbing Minseok’s shirt with one hand and Joonmyun’s with the other.  Jongin grabs Sehun by his arms and follows as Kris pushes the two of them past the kneeling people and out the door.  He shoves them not so kindly while Jongin pushes Sehun to join them.  The three exchange surprised glances before looking at the two gangsters.
“Luhan’s my cousin.”  Kris explains.  “He’ll kill me if he knew I kept his fans hostage.  Have fun at the meeting.”
With that the doors are slammed shut and the three friends are running without a glance back.
“Well, that was lucky!”  Minseok laughs, giving his two extremely pissed off friends a sheepish look.
They’re safely in a taxi and Minseok has carefully used his translating app to ensure that the driver knows exactly where to go.  However, Joonmyun and Sehun are still clearly angry.
“Come on, guys.”  Minseok whines.  “I’m sorry!  I should’ve told you when I realized how much I at Chinese, but it was embarrassing.”  He sticks out his lip in a pout and gives them his famous puppy eyes.  He hates it, but he knows it will make them cave.  He can practically see their resolve crumble to pieces in front of him.
“Fine.”  Sehun groans, uncrossing his arms.
“Whatever.”  Joonmyun sighs.  “I’ll forgive you as long as we’re not too late.”
“You two are the best!”  Minseok cheers, wrapping them up in a hug.  The two roll their eyes but hug him back nevertheless, going back to gushing about their vloggers in seconds.
After a surprisingly short drive (wherein Minseok was forced to take off his sweater and reveal the ugly shirt with TV written on it) the trio arrive at a large convention center in the middle of the city.  It isn’t hard to find the room either, since the signs are big and even Joonmyun and Sehun can recognize the Chinese characters of their favorite vloggers’ names.
“Okay, this is it.”  Joonmyun says when they reach the door.  “How do I look?”
“You look good.”  Sehun answers.  “How about me?”
“Great!  But are you sure I look good, I don’t want to look like a mess when I meet Yixing!”
“I’m sure!  Are you sure about me?”
“Of course, you always look good, Sehun!”
“Really?  Aw, thanks!  I need to make sure-”
“Oh my god!” Minseok screams.  “Shut up and get in there!”
He pushes them roughly toward the door and the three of them stumble in clumsily, drawing the attention of the crowd in the room.  Minseok freezes as he sees over a hundred people staring at them.
“Um, sorry, we’re late.”  Joonmyun laughs awkwardly while Sehun shrinks behind them.
Minseok sighs, of course something like this would happen.  The embarrassment is short-lived, however, as Luhan (THE Luhan, Sehun squeals quietly) stands up and turns the attention back to the stage as he welcomes in the latecomers with a smile and a hand pressed against his ear, Minseok thinks that was kind of weird but doesn’t mention it.  Luhan informs them that the question portion is unfortunately over but they can join the rest of the fans for the signing.
Despite being told to line up neat and orderly, the fans chaotically shove themselves into what is barely passing as a line.  The trio end up at the very end and one look at the crowd in front of them tells Minseok they will be waiting quite a while.  Personally, he doesn’t think those pretty boy vloggers are worth it, so, he excuses himself (not that his friends were paying him any attention anyway) and leaves the line in search of food or entertainment of any kind.
The buffet table is sprawling with a huge assortment of food, mostly untouched by the fans who obviously think staring at the vloggers is more important than food.  Minseok thinks they’re crazy.
He grabs a few grapes and has them halfway to his mouth when a person bumps into him.  It was a staff member running frantically to the stage with a handful of new pens, they don’t even spare a glance at the now pouting Korean boy who watches his grapes roll away.  Minseok isn’t the type of person to leave his food on the floor for someone else to pick up.  He’s racked up enough bad karma as it is.
With slumped shoulders he follows the small rolling fruits, seriously how far can a grape roll?  He finally manages to grab them and realizes that he had wandered way too far, like behind the stage kind of far, and wait…why is there a person behind the stage?
The guy is slumped in a chair and is speaking animatedly into a Bluetooth, his hands flailing around exaggeratedly.  Minseok finds it quite charming, not to mention the fact that this guy is gorgeous with brown hair that looks so soft and cheekbones that are just begging to be touched.  His grapes fall on the ground, forgotten.
Jongdae is in the middle of yelling at Luhan after the idiot misheard his words and accidently called his fan something very offensive, however, his lecturing begins to wane when he feels the distinct feeling of eyes looking at him.  He turns to the right and sees a guy staring at him.  A really freaking cute guy.
Jongdae scrambles to sit up into a more appropriate position and combs his fingers through his hair nervously.  The guy walks over and sits down in the chair across from Jongdae without even asking, Jongdae discovers he finds assertiveness really attractive.
“Hey.”  He says giving Jongdae the cutest smile.  “I’m Minseok.”
“Nice to meet you, I’m Jongdae.”  Jongdae leans forward, adopting what Luhan and Yixing refer to as his sleazy smile.  “So, Minseok, what’s a guy like you doing behind a curtain like this?”
“I could ask you a similar question, Jongdae.”  Minseok replies, staring him down with a flirtatious smirk.  “What are you doing screaming in a Bluetooth behind this curtain?”
“I’m working, what’s your excuse?”
“I’m bored.”
“Bored!”  Jongdae laughs.  “Oh, but how could anyone be bored at the amazing Luhan and Yixing’s fan meeting?”  He exaggerates, clasping his hands together and looking up dreamily.
“It’s easy to be bored when you’re not a fan.”  Minseok answers, before eyeing Jongdae suspiciously.  “Wait, what do you mean you’re working?”
Jongdae opens his mouth to answer but immediately gets distracted by the voice blasting in his ear.
“She said you’re gorgeous.”  Jongdae says with a hand pressed to the Bluetooth.  “No, Luhan.  You know how to say manly, I won’t tell you again just because you like to pretend I’m complimenting you.”
He meets Minseok’s perplexed face and sighs.
“That’s what I mean by working.”
“So…you’re translating for them?”  Minseok asks.  “I thought they could speak Korean, my best friends watch them like religiously and they’re always speaking Korean.”
“Yep, all thanks to me.  The guy behind the camera doing all the work.  Shh, don’t tell anyone.”  Jongdae says with an amused smirk.
“I won’t.”  Minseok promises.  “Why do you do it?  Are they paying you or something?”
“Nope.”  Jongdae sighs.  “It’s just hard to say no to your best friends.”
“I can relate to that.”  Minseok laughs.  “So, how does this work exactly?”  He asks, gesturing toward the ear piece.
“Well, they’re sitting right outside that curtain.”  Jongdae points.  “I just listen in this as the fan speaks and then tell them what to say.”
“Hmm.”  Minseok seems to be in thought before a slightly evil (all though Jongdae finds it quite cute) grin spreads across his face.  “It must be quite boring back here…you want to have some fun?”
Jongdae meets his gaze with a similar glint in his eyes and smirks.
“Sure, I’m game.”
“I’m so nervous!”  Sehun groans, clutching his head.  “I can’t believe we’re really going to meet them, what if I screw up and say something totally embarrassing?!”
“Just stay calm, Sehun.”  Joonmyun reassures him, despite the fact that his pale face has grown about five shades whiter.  “Just speak from your heart, this is a once in a lifetime chance.”
“That doesn’t make me feel any better!  I’m really going to screw it up now!”  Sehun latches onto Joonmyun’s sleeve and gives him a pleading look.  “Come with me.”
“No way, all my focus is for Yixing.”  Joonmyun replies sounding determined.  “Besides, look at those girls you won’t possibly be as bad as some of them.  I can’t even imagine what they said to act like that.”
The two friends look over to the front of the line and watch as a group of girls walk away with flaming red faces and mortified looks.  A little earlier they could’ve sworn they’d heard one girl scream.
“You’re right.”  Sehun nods.  “I can do this.”
“Kim Jongdae, what the hell do you think you’re doing?!”  Luhan harshly whispers into his ear piece with his back turned to the table.  “Don’t give me that crap, I can hear you laughing!”
“Lu!”  Yixing pushes him and gives him a glare.  “The line has been stopped for two minutes we need to get back to signing.”
“Yeah, that’d be nice.”  Luhan gives him a deranged smile that makes Yixing back up a few steps.  “If only Jongdae hadn’t decided to be a little .”
“What do you mean?”  Yixing blinks at him and Luhan sighs.
“Are you seriously that clueless my dear friend?  He’s making us say stupid things and it’s scaring our fans!”
“Oh!”  Yixing’s eyes grow wide and he shakes his head in disbelief.  “That makes sense.”
Yixing carefully puts his arm around his seething friend, and pats him with his hand lightly.  Luhan resembles a snake about to strike at any second.
“Let’s just calm down, Lu.”  Yixing says soothingly.  “He doesn’t mean any harm, just ignore him.  I have something that might make you feel better.”
“What’s that?”  Luhan asks, clearly curious though he pretends not to be.
“Those guys that were late are at the end of the line.”  A nudge.  “They’re the only guy fans here.”  Another nudge.  “They’re pretty cute, they’re even wearing matching shirts for us!”  A final nudge and Luhan gives in, clapping his hands together and looking up with dreamy eyes.
“Okay, Yixing, let’s do this.”
“Oh, this is too much!”  Minseok cries, gasping as he laughs on the ground by the curtain.  Jongdae is in a similar fashion on his chair.  “Her face was so red!  I can’t believe you made him say that!”
“God, Luhan is so mad but it’s so worth it!”  Jongdae grins, pulling the earpiece off and joining Minseok on the ground.  “It’s about time I did something like this, they’ve taken me for granted for too long.  Thanks, Minseok.”
“No…”  Minseok smiles and eyes Jongdae’s fingers splayed across the wood floor, he inches his fingers closer to them.  “Thank you for giving me a good time, I was worried this trip would end with no good memories.”
Jongdae’s eyes widen as he feels Minseok’s fingers bump against his.
“Well, the good time doesn’t have to end anytime soon.”  Jongdae smirks with a dangerous glint in his eyes.
Minseok grins before grabbing the front of Jongdae’s shirt and pulling him closer, their faces less than an inch apart.
“I’ll take you up on that offer, Mr. Translator.”
As their lips meet they have the briefest thought that this is crazy, but boredom and the joy of finding a kindred spirit overrule them.
Joonmyun tries to will his hands to stop shaking as he counts the steps up to the stage.  One, two, three.  He can see the table clearly now.  Four, five, six.  God, Yixing is sitting right there, he looks like an angel, Joonmyun finds it hard to breath.
A few steps forward and he’s there.  Standing in front of the object of his desire, the guy that has ruled the majority of his thoughts for the past year, and he’s smiling.  His cute dimple is all Joonmyun can focus on as he stares in awe.
“Hello!”  Yixing greets him brightly in Chinese.
Almost as if by magic (and not months of intense studying) all the Chinese Joonmyun has ever heard and learned fills his mind and fights to leave his mouth.
“Hello!  I’m such a big fan, I’ve watched every single video.  You’re the best, you’re so smart and handsome and kind!  I can’t believe I’m actually meeting you, this is unreal.  I came here all the way from Korea and oh god I think I might pass out!”
Yixing gapes at him.  Joonmyun fidgets, feeling stupid.  Yixing shakes his head as if snapping himself out of a daze and then grins the biggest smile Joonmyun had ever seen on him, it’s breathtaking.
“You’re Chinese is amazing!”  Yixing marvels, reaching out and grabbing Joonmyun’s hand.  Joonmyun’s heart nearly stops.  “I can’t believe it, it was perfect.  The pronunciation was almost that of a native speaker.  And you look like an angel,” his eyes trail downward.  “And I love your shirt.  Here, let me sign it.”
Joonmyun’s heart is literally going to explode out of his chest as Yixing holds tightly onto his hand and drags his marker over the shirt right above the letters.  After that Yixing signs the picture of him and Luhan that the vloggers are handing out.  Joonmyun accepts it with a quiet thank you, a stark difference to his babbling just minutes ago.
“Um…I guess that’s it then.  Thank you for the signatures.”  Joonmyun tries to pull his hand away to leave but Yixing clutches it tightly and hardens his gaze.
“You’re not going anywhere.”  Yixing declares.  “You’re going to come behind this table and sit by me, then we’re going to talk.”
“O-of course.”  Joonmyun nods numbly and stumbles behind the table, ignoring the curious looks from the fans that are walking around the room.
God, Luhan is so hot.  That is repeating like a mantra in Sehun’s mind as he stares at the guy across the table from him.  From his hair that looks so sinfully soft, to the delicate lip that Luhan keeps biting.  Sehun is going crazy from how much he wants him.
“So…Sehun.”  Luhan hands him the signed picture and lightly drags his fingers on Sehun’s arm, Sehun wonders if it’s his mind playing tricks on him or if Luhan had purposefully spoken in an almost sensual tone.  “Wait here, one minute.”
Luhan’s Korean is choppy and Sehun wants to ask him why he needs to wait but Luhan had already rolled his chair back three feet, his eyes never leaving Sehun’s.
“Are you serious, Luhan?”  Jongdae scoffs.
“What now?”  Minseok asks from his seat on Jongdae’s lap.
“Luhan wants to know how to say ‘Will you make out with me?’ in Korean.  Apparently there’s a fan boy that Luhan thinks is ‘absolutely delicious’.”
“Hmm.”  Minseok thinks about it and the only possible fit for that description is Sehun, he remembers his friends’ angry faces and nudges Jongdae lightly.  “Tell him.”
Minutes later they see two figures racing past toward a back room.
“Okay, Joonie!”  Yixing sings as he cupped Joonmyun’s face.  “Wait right here, I have to find Luhan.”
Yixing grins as Joonmyun nods, his eyes slightly glazed over and a dumb smile on his face.  He’s just so cute.
“Jongdae!”  Yixing calls as he walks behind the curtain.  He registers the fact that there is another person on top of his friend, but he doesn’t care that much.  “Where’s Luhan?  We have to make an announcement.”
“I’m here!”  A voice calls out before Jongdae can answer.  Luhan runs onto the backstage adjusting his clothes and trying to fix his hair that’s now a total mess.  He looks slightly breathless but manages to greet Jongdae and the stranger on him with a bright smile.  “Let’s go.”
“Wait, what announcement are you talking about?”  Jongdae questions.
“It’s a secret.”  Yixing answers with a cryptic look.  “We already figured out how to say it so just relax and listen.”
“Okay, whatever.”  Jongdae shrugs.  He relaxes into his seat as his friends disappear and wraps his arms around Minseok.
A few moment later he hears Luhan’s voice filling the room.
“Ladies and the few gentlemen, we have an important announcement to make.  The truth is we didn’t have this fan meeting just randomly.  We just wanted to meet as many of you as we could before we go on a hiatus.”
What!  Jongdae’s eyes widen.
“We’re going to continue our education in Korea for an indefinite time, so the videos will stop.  Thank you for all your support!”
Jongdae tunes the rest out as he stares blankly in front of him, a smile growing across his face.
“I’m going home.”
3 Months Later
“Okay, repeat after me.  Ban-chan ju-se-yo.”  Joonmyun sounds out the word carefully.  “It means can I please have a side dish.”
“Okay, I think I got it.”  Yixing grins, scooting closer.  “Joon-myun ju-se-yo.”
“Oh, how can you be so cute?”  Joonmyun gushes, poking Yixing on the nose.
“I’m not as cute as you!”  Yixing counters, grabbing Joonmyun’s face and rubbing their noses together.
They continued their strange eskimo kissing until a cough interrupts.
“Ahem, you’re not alone here have some decency.”  Minseok grumbles, sending a glare their way.
“Ease up, Min.”  Jongdae sighs.  “They’re not even half as bad as those two.”
The couple sighs simultaneously as they glare at Sehun and Luhan doing their typical daily activity of wandering hands and eyes full of obvious mental undressing, making sure to throw in a growl and a lip bite or two.
“Why are we sitting here again?”  Minseok asks.
“Because they’re our best friends.”  Jongdae answers before raising an eyebrow.  “All though, I’m starting to think that reason is getting a bit overused.  Wanna leave?”
“I thought you’d never ask.”  Minseok smirks, grabbing Jongdae’s hand and locking their fingers together.
They walk away from the table with a spring in their steps and their hands swinging between them, overtly happy to be leaving the sugary sweet cooing and the dirty whispering behind.
However, they know they’ll have to deal with it all over again tomorrow.  Why?  Because they’re best friends.
