One day Yifan was at the school library. He never usually went there but he was looking for a book for some project. When he was walking over to a bookshelf, he noticed a boy sitting at one of the tables. The boy had short black hair and was wearing a school boy outfit while wearing glasses. Yifan's eyes went wide at how cute the boy was so he walked over to him. "Hi Im Yifan" Yifan said as he sat across from the boy. "Hi" the boy said shyly, he had a very soft spoken voice. "You new here?" Yifan asked but the boy didnt answer. Yifan didnt know what else to say and the boy continued on his homework. Suddenly the bell rang so the boy packed up his stuff then left. Yifan sighed because he felt like he shouldnt have approached the boy. He got up to leave but then he noticed a book with a bookmark in it on the table. He picked the book up then opened the book to where the bookmark was and saw the name "Huang Zitao" on it. Yifan figured that it belonged to the boy so he felt maybe he could try again to talk to him. He put the book in his bag then left the library

The next day Yifan was back at the library. He didnt need a book but he wanted to see if the boy from the day before would be there. When Yifan was looking around, he saw the boy again at the same table from the day before. Yifan slowly approached the boy and sat down across from him. "Um hi you left this here yesterday" Yifan said awkwardly as he slid the book to the boy. The boy looked up at Yifan and smiled warmly. "Oh thanks I was looking for it" the boy said and Yifan noticed how really soft spoken the boy really was. He could already tell from the day before but the way the boy talked made him feel calm. "I never got your name yesterday, but I assume its Zitao since thats what was on your bookmark" Yifan said confidently. "Yeah its Zitao, but just call me Tao ok?" the boy said with a friendly smile. Yifan smiled and was relieved he finally knew the boy's name. "Ok Tao" Yifan said with a smile. "Sorry if I didnt really say anything to you yesterday, I was pretty stressed about some things" Tao said as he sighed. "Dont worry about it, its fine" Yifan said smiling. "I dont think I have any classes with you except for this period, do you always come here during study hall?" Yifan asked Tao. "Yeah I do" Tao said with a casual smile. "Alright then maybe I could come here every day and perhaps we can get to know each other and be friends" Yifan said smiling and Tao also smiled. "That sounds nice" Tao said warmly. The bell rang and Tao packed up his stuff. "Bye Yifan" Tao said with a smile before leaving and Yifan blushed deeply because Tao remembered his name

                                                                                               TWO WEEKS LATER

Yifan was becoming close to Tao. They were becoming really good friends and Yifan was developing a crush on Tao. He didnt want to tell him though because he didnt want to scare Tao away and ruin their close friendship. However there was a school dance coming up that Yifan really wanted to go with Tao. Yifan thought maybe he could ask Tao just as a friend so he wouldnt risk losing him

One day Yifan went to the library yet again to see Tao during study hall. They were talking when Yifan finally decided to bring the dance up. "So Tao theres this dance coming up this friday" Yifan began. "Oh yeah thanks for reminding me, I wanted to ask you if you would like to go with me" Tao said blushing and Yifan's eyes went wide. "Really? J-Just as friends...right?" Yifan asked as he turned red. "No silly I mean like a date" Tao said smiling and Yifan blushed deeply. "I would love to Tao" Yifan said with a warm smile. Just then the bell rang. "Bye Yifan Ill text you later" Tao said happily before leaving. Yifan had to take a moment to realize that Tao had just asked him out. He felt himself blushing deeply and smiling very much but he didnt care. All Yifan cared about was the fact that Tao had just asked him out

A few days later it was the evening of the dance. Yifan was in his room getting ready. He put on a suit with a long black tie, got his hair done and put cologne on. He left to go pick Tao up but not before grabbing a stuffed panda that was holding a rose

When Yifan got to Tao's houe, he knocked on the door and waited. A few moments later, Tao opened the door. "Hi Yifan, wow you look really handsome" Tao said smiling. "Thanks Tao, you look really cute" Yifan said as he blushed a bit. "Um here I got this for you" Yifan said as he took out the stuffed panda from his pocket and handed it to Tao. "Oh Yifan thats really sweet, thanks" Tao said as he blushed deeply and held the stuffed panda. "Well we should get going now" Yifan said. "Yeah lets go now" Tao said happily. Yifan took Tao to his car then drove to the dance

During the dance, Tao and Yifan were just dancing together, talking and getting to know each other more. Yifan could feel his feelings for Tao increasing. Suddeny a slow love song came on. Yifan looked over at Tao who was looing back at him. Yifan smiled warmly and took Tao's hand. He lead him to the dance floor then wrapped one arm around Tao's waist and held Tao's hand with his free one. Tao wrapped his arm around Yifan's neck and lightly held on. They slowly danced close to each other then suddenly Yifan let go of Tao's hand. He used that hand to gently lift Tao's face so his eyes would meet his. Tao blushed as well as Yifan as they looked into each other's eyes. Yifan then slowly leaned in and kissed Tao softly on his lips. Tao tightened his hold onto Yifan's neck and deepened the kiss. After a few moments, Yifan broke the kiss to breath, He smiled lovingly at Tao and Tao did the same. The song ended and it was the end of the dance so they both began to walk towards the exit. Yifan shyly took Tao's hand then held it on their way to his car. "Tao you wanna stay at my place tonight?" Yifan asked as they got into the car. "Yeah I do" Tao said with a warm smile. Yifan started the car and drove him and Tao to his house

After an hour of talking, niether Yifan or Tao had broughten up what happened earlier that night so Tao decided to bring it up. "So about that kiss earlier, I never knew you liked me like that" Tao said as he blushed. "Well when I first laid my eyes on you, I thought you were really cute so I guess ever since then you captured my heart" Yifan confessed as he blushed. Tao took Yifan's hand and intertwined their fingers together. "Ive had a crush on you for a long time, even before we met" Tao said as he blushed deeply and Yifan's eyes went wide. "Really? since when..?" Yifan asked in shock. "Ever since I saw you get off the bus on the first day of school four years ago. I was new here and didnt think any of the other freshmen would be cute. But when I saw you, my heart metled" Tao said as he took a deep breath. "But then we never met and you had a boyfriend and I was too shy to talk to you anyways...but I always saw you in the hall and my crush for you just deepened" Tao confessed as he was very red and taking deep breaths after saying all that to Yifan. Yifan was silent for a minute but he had a big loving smile on his face. "Tao I...I would have never expected to hear any of this..." Yifan said as he blushed deeply. "Well now that Ive told you and now that I know you like me...do you want to be my boyfriend?" Tao asked as he smiled loving. "Of course Tao I would to be your boyfriend" Yifan said happily. Tao smiled then leaned in and kissed Yifan on he lips. Yifan wrapped his arms around Tao and held him. Tao layed his head on Yifan's shoulder then sighed happily.

                                                                                                SIX MONTHS LATER

Yifan and Tao's relationship was growing very strong. The problem was that they had to keep the relationship hidden from both their parents. Yifan and Tao's parents strongly believed in arranged marriage so if they found out, Yifan and Tao knew they would never be able to see each other again. However they had both graduated and Yifan moved into an apartment of his own so he wouldnt be doing the arranged marriage. However Tao still lived at home and didnt want to do any kind of arranged marriage, especially with a girl, but he felt like it was his job to keep his family tradition. Tao had promised Yifan that he would still secretly see him even when he was married. It hurt Yifan because he didnt want Tao to be married to some random girl, or just anyone else for that matter. The other reason was that Yifan had fallen deeply in love with Tao. He didnt know when to tell him thought because Tao hadnt told him yet despite being together for six months. However Yifan planned to do it when the time was right because despite Tao planning on going along with the arranged marriage, he and Tao were planning on moving to canada together in the future after Yifan taught Tao english

One day Yifan and Tao were hanging out together at Yifan's apartment when Yifan noticed something was wrong with Tao. "Taozi are you ok?" Yifan asked Tao in concern. "No Im not....Yifan..my arranged wedding is next week..." Tao said softly and Yifan's eyes widened. "Wh-What...? but..y-you're so young..." Yifan said as his eyes began to water. "My parents think eighteen is the right age to get married...'' Tao said as he sighed. Yifan hugged tao tightly and held him close. "Taozi maybe we should just move to canada before that happens..." Yifan said even though he knew Tao probably wouldnt want to. "I want to wait for at least a tear....then Ill divorce my wife and then we can" Tao said and Yifan sighed. "Thats so long though...but Ill wait that long for you" Yifan said as he smiled slightly. He was upset but he would do anything for Tao

                                                                                                       ONE WEEK LATER

It was the day that Tao was going to get married and Yifan was at home, he couldnt bear to see the one he loved the most be married to someone else

Meanwhile Tao was standing in the church he was getting married at. He was facing his soon to be wife as the pastor was saying the usual wedding stuff. He couldnt stop thinking about Yifan and he didnt want to get married but he knew his family would disown him if he didnt. Suddenly Tao heard the door open and "TAO DONT DO IT" then saw Yifan running up to him. Yifan grabbed Tao by the wrist and pulled him out of the church. "Yifan what are-" Tao began to say but was cut off by Yifan's lips crashing against his lips. Tao didnt pull away so instead he wrapped his arms around Yifan and deepeend the kiss. Yifan broke the kiss and leaned his forehead against Tao's forehead. "Taozi you cant marry that girl, I thought I could deal with it but I just couldnt because I...because I love you Tao.." Yifan confessed as his tears spilled. Tao's eyes widened but then smiled warmly. "Ive been waiting for you to tell me that Yifan...because I was scared to tell you that I was in love with you too.." Tao said as he turned red and just then Tao's dad came out of the church. "Huang Zitao get back in their and get married to the girl already" Tao's dad said. Tao looked at his dad, then to Yifan who was looking back at him, then back to his dad, "Im sorry dad but I cant...Im gay and I love Yifan, he isnt just my friend like I told you, hes my boyfriend" Tao said as he grabbed Yifan's hand. "Zitao you are NOT gay! Now get the back in the church and marry that girl like a real man!" Tao's day yelled. "No dad, Im not going to, Im not going to give up my happiness with Yifan to marry some girl I bearly know" Tao said firmly. "Either you go back in there and get married to her or I dont want to see you again" Tao's dad said. "Whatever I can live with Yifan, come on lets get out of here" Tao said as he pulled Yifan with him.

"Tao that was really strong of you what you did back there" Yifan said after him and Tao were away from the church."Well I couldnt just gve my happiness up with you up just to make my parents happy...I love you too much to lose you" Tao said as his tears began to spill. Yifan pulled Tao in for a hug and rubbed his back. "Taozi please dont cry now, everything will be ok" Yifan said softly. Tao sighed and wiped his eyes then looked up at Yifan. Yifan smiled at Tao and touched his cheek lightly then leaned down to kiss him. "I love you Tao and I always will" Yifan said softly and lovingly. "I love you too Yifan" Tao said with a loving smile. "Well now what should we do? My dad doesnt want me back home so should we just go to your apartment?" Tao asked. "Well I dont think your parents are home yet so we should go there to get your stuff" Yifan said. "Alright lets go then" Tao said and Yifan took Tao to his car then brought him home to get his stuff. After that, Yifan brought Tao to his apartment and he got settled in

                                                                                                            ONE YEAR LATER

Yifan and Tao had finally moved to Canada together. Yifan had taught Tao english and they saved up money. Yifan got a job as a model and Tao was an actor so they were pretty rich. They were planning to go to Paris for their anniversary and Yifan had something in mind planned

One day Yifan and Tao were getting off the plane in Pairs. They went to their hotel room which had one big bed and there was a balcony. Tao went out to the balcony and was looking at the eiffel tower from far away, It was dark out but everything was lit up so Tao found it very beautiful. Yifan came up behind Tao and back hugged him as he rested his chin on Tao's shoulder. "Isnt it beautiful Yifan?" Tao asked happily as he leaned back into Yifan's arms. "Yes Taozi, but you are more beautiful" Yifan said happily as he turned Tao around and kissed him. Tao giggled and kissed Yifan back but then yawned. "Come on babe lets go to bed now" Yifan said smiling. He then picked Tao and carried him to the bed, They both layed down and Yifan began to gently rub Tao's arm. "You know Taozi...we've been together for a year...I think its time for us to, you know, take it to the next level.." Yifan said softly. "I-I think you're right.." Tao said nervously. "We dont have to if you dont want to, I would never force you to do anything especially that" Yifan said seriously. "No its not that Yifan...I want to but Im just nervous...because Im a .." Tao said softly. "Well Taozi if you dont feel comfortable we dont have to" Yifan said with a small sincere smile. Tao looked at Yifan and hesitated a bit. "No Yifan...I want to" Tao said as he blushed. "Are you sure Tao? I dont want you to feel pressured to do it" Yifan said. "No I really do want to" Tao said with a warm smile. "Well alright Taozi, but if you want to stop at any point just tell me" Yifan said. "Alright Yifan" Tao said smiling. That night, Tao lost his ity to Yifan

The next day Yifan and Tao were walking to the eiffel tower as they held hands. Once they were in front of it, Yifan stopped walking which stopped Tao since they were still holding hands. "Yifan whats wrong?" Tao asked in concern. "Nothing is wrong Taozi, everything is perfect" Yifan said as he turned to face Tao and kissed him. "But theres something I want to ask you" Yifan said. "Oh what is it Yifan?" Tao asked happily. Yifan got onto one knee and pulled out a small box with a ring in it. "Huang Zitao will you marry me?" Yifan asked as he looked up at Tao. Tao put his hands over his mouth and his tears began to spill. "Oh Yifan yes of course Ill marry you" Tao said as he continued to cry happy tears. Yifan slid the ring on Tao's finger then stood up. Tao hugged Yifan tightly as he cried happily. Yifan wrapped his arms securely around Tao and kissed him. "I love you very much Taozi" Yifan said in a soft and loving tone. "I love you very much too Yifan, Im so happy that Im going to spend the rest of my life with you" Tao said happily and Yifan wiped Tao's eyes. "Come on Taozi, lets go watch the sunset" Yifan said happily. He grabbed Tao's hand and they went off to go watch the sunset. What started off as just an encounter at the school library ended up with two boys falling in love, getting engaged and soon to be married. Everything was perfect
