All Byun Baekhyun ever wanted was to live a normal life. However, he knew he can’t. Why? He can see things that other people can’t see. He didn’t even remember when it all had started. He vaguely remembered but it was during his 6 years old birthday? It was fun, he recalled. His brother and his parents were there to celebrate with him. When the clock struck 12, that’s when all of it had started.

He began seeing things. Small little figure with wings were flying across the living room. He was helping his big brother to clean the house after the small party had ended when he saw glitter fell on his hand. He frowned at the things on his hand and looked up. He widened his eyes when a tiny figure with wings began to watch him and slowly approaching him. The figure had a feminine face and he was swarmed by other of his kind. Baekhyun backed away and screamed in fear as he run into his brother’s arm dropping the entire thing in his hand.

“Baekhyun-ah, what’s wrong?” Baekbeom asked him with worried eyes. Baekbeom was startled by his brother’s sudden burst. Baekbeom caress his back trying to control him down. Baekbeom shook his body and lifted his chin but was taken aback when Baekhyun suddenly screamed, again this time louder. Baekhyun jumped away from him and cried uncontrollably.

“Baekhyun-ah”. Baekbeom get scared by his younger brother’s reaction but he’s worried also. He gets closer to Baekhyun only to find Baekhyun back away from him again.

“G-Go away”, Baekhyun pleaded. Baekhyun had his head buried in between his two knee and was sobbing at the corner of the living room.

“P-Please go away!” Baekbeom widened his eyes at his brother’s action but it didn’t stop him from engulfing the younger to his warm hug.

“Go away!” Baekhyun screamed. Baekhyun struggled to free himself from his brother’s brace. He had his hands blocked his two ears as he kept hearing voices, a lot of them.

“I think he can sees us”, one of the fairies said.

“No!” Baekhyun screamed.

Baekhyun cried for a while but calmed down eventually by his brother’s soothing voice. Baekhyun looked up to see Baekbeom’s face only to gasped in shock when he saw a tiny figure with green wigs sit on top of Baekbeom’s head. Baekbeom looked at him with confused look when Baekhyun backed away from a little, only this time just a little bit further. Baekbeom watched as Baekhyun stared at him with wide eyes and lifted his right hand only to point at something – or more like pointed towards to him.

“W-Who are you?” Baekbeom was startled by the question that his brother asked. He was loss at word and was about to reply when he noticed Baekhyun’s gaze. He followed his gaze and turned around only to see no one in their living room. Their parents had gone to do some errands, as they claimed.

“Baekhyun?” Baekbeom looked back at his brother.

“Hyung, there’s someone there”, Baekhyun was about to cry again. He never saw anything like that before. He kept pointing towards Baekbeom.

“Baekhyun? What do you mean? There’s no one there”, Baekbeom claimed.

“What do you mean hyung? There’s someone there”, Baekhyun argued back. Baekhyun was on the verge of tears. Baekbeom frowned at his brother’s word.

Baekbeom rubbed his temple. “Look Baekhyun, there’s no one there. It’s late now, you must’ve been tired”, Baekbeom was about to pull his brother when Baekhyun snatched his arm away.

“I’m telling you the truth! I swear I saw them! Why can’t you see them?”

“Them?”, Baekbeom observed his brother’s face searching for any clue if his brother were playing tricks with him but when remembered how Baekhyun had acted earlier he frowned deeper. Baekbeom approached his brother carefully. If Baekhyun was playing some kind of game here, he wouldn’t get to the point where he needs to cry miserably.

Baekbeom hold his brother’s body. “Tell me what do you see, Baekbeom”.

“I- I see figures. Tiny figures. With wings but with different colours. There are a few here right now. One of them is sitting on your head”. Baekbeom immediately touched his head but he could feel nothing on his head. That explained his brother behaviour earlier. Baekbeom looked u when he heard his brother chuckled.

“Hyung, the thing on your head said that she was hurt because you just hit her on your head”. Baekbeom looked at him bewildered.

“O-Okay”.

“You can see us?”, a figure with blue wing asked. Baekhyun looked at the figure before he slowly nodded. “What are you?”, he asked. Baekbeom just watched his brother in silence.

“We’re fairies”. The blue-winged fairy said.

“This is our first time encountered a human who can sees us”, Baekhhyun looked to his left and was startled when another fairy sat on his shoulder.

“Hyung, they said they are fairies”. Baekbeom nodded at his brother.

Since then, Baekhyun learned a lot of things about fairies thanks to his brother’s help and the fairies. It remained as a secret between the two siblings about Baekhyun’s speciality. Baekhyun learned that everyone has their own fairy. He once told Baekbeom’s fairy is a female fairy with red wings. Baekbeom just smiled at his answer and ask him to ask the fairy her name.

“Eun Seol”. Baekbeom liked that name.

Baekhyun faced a lot of trouble when he was in middle school. Being surrounded with hundreds of students and flying fairies anywhere makes him suffocated. Apparently, it has been a huge news that Baekhyun can see fairies and has become a hot topic among the fairies’ world.

Baekhyun was once isolated by his group of friend when he talked to the fairies, oblivious to his surrounding where his friends thought that he was talking to himself. Since then, he had been careful enough not to slipped again.

Starting from high school all the way to his senior year in his university, he has been successful in making friends. He was in a group who called them as EXO. They were a very famous group in the campus. The member of his group is very talented.

Baekhyun spotted his friends on their usual table in the cafeteria and let out a chuckle when his fairy, who claimed himself as Tao, said something about how he hated crowded places.

“You’re just have to deal with it, little Tao”, Baekhyun whispered. Tao let out a grunt.

“Yo! Baekhyun”, Baekhyun nodded at his friend’s greeting.

“Hey, I heard there’s a new teacher today”, Sehun said, starting the conversation.

“So?” Tao said making Baekhyun snorted.

“What?” Sehun asked.

“Oh, nothing. Continue with your story”, Baekhyun smiled.

“Yeah, I heard it too. He’ll be replacing Miss Grumpy Humpty in Art & Music”, Suho said earning a snicker from his other friends.

“Thank god! I don’t know how much longer I can stand her class”, Kai face-palmed himself. Baekhyun smiled at his friend’s reaction and tried hard not to let out laughter when Tao imitated his friend’s action only to be pushed by Kai’s fairy.

“You bet that right. Anyway, that guy’s name is Chanyeol. Park Chanyeol”, Sehun claimed.

Baekhyun had a funny and weird feeling in his stomach the moment he heard the name. He frowned at the sight where Tao’s body stiffened and had an unreadable expression on his face. “Park Chanyeol?” Baekhyun asked.

“Yes, Park to the Chanyeol. Are you interested?” Sehun smirked.

“Pfft, no”. Baekhyun shook his head. He turned his attention to his little fairy when Tao took his place on his right shoulder with a sad face.

The bell had ringed indicated that they have class to attend. Baekhyun, Kai, Sehun and his friends, Kyungsoo and Suho went to separate ways as they have different classes.

Baekhyun told his friends that he’ll be going to the toilet first and asked them to go ahead and earned a nod from his friends.

“Just be hurry, okay?”, Kai said.

Baekhyun went to the toilet and check all the cubicles to make sure it’s empty before he locked the doors. He washed his hands on the sink and examined himself.

“what was that all about?”, Baekhyun asked. Tao was startled by the question.

“What was what?”, he asked.

“You practically went to silent mode the moment you heard the new teacher’s name. Is there something I should know?”, Baekhyun asked him.

Tao looked anywhere but Baekhyun. How am I supposed to tell him?

Baekhyun just smiled at the latter’s action before he patted the latter on his back. “You know that we’ve been together for a long time, right? You can tell me everything, Tao. Whenever you ready, you can come up to me anytime and talk about it,ok?”, Baekhyun assured him.

Tao felt like tears welled up in his eyes but nonetheless nodded and muttered a ‘Thank you’. Baekhyun just smiled and nodded.

Baekhyun examined his looks one more time before he went to unlock the door and headed towards his class only to be get his face collided with someone’s chest. He almost fell on his when a hand landed swiftly on his waist preventing him from doing so. He opened his eyes only to be greeted by a giant with dark hair and pointed ears.

Baekhyun almost lost in the latter’s gaze if Tao didn’t poke his cheek. He immediately regained himself and rubbed the back of his neck.

“Thanks”, he muttered and bowed. He looked up once again only to be lost again in the latter’s smile. The smile were so dazzling that Baekhyun had to mentally closed his eyes.

“No problem”.

Baekhyun was about to say a word when Tao beat him first.

“Can we go away from here, please?”. Baekhyun was shocked at the sudden request making him turned his head facing the fairy.

“Is there something wrong?”, the deep voice asked.

Baekhyun looked at the giant again and shook his head before he excused himself saying he has a class.

“I wonder who he is?”, the giant muttered before he went to his appointed class to start his first lesson.

Baekhyun knew he has to give Tao some time before Tao can open up to him. Baekhyun was speechless when Tao had asked him to walked away from that giant earlier. His thought were interrupted when someone walked into the class.

“Hey, that’s new teacher”, Sehun nudged him.

He looked at Sehun and looked back at the teacher. He couldn’t help but to felt uncomfortable and happy at the same time. Uncomfortable because his fairy seems can sit at one place and constantly moved around before he excused himself to go somewhere and Baekhyun just nodded at the request. Happy because he was hoping he could meet the giant again.

“Class, I’m your new teacher, Park Chanyeol and I’ll be replacing your former teacher”, Chanyeol introduced himself. He scanned the class and his eyes landed on the guy who he had ‘caught’ earlier and smiled. Later, he learned that his name is Byun Baekhyun and he already liked the name.

A few days after that, Tao seems to calmed down now. He talked a lot, for now. Baekhyun couldn’t help but to think why hadn’t he seen a single fairy with Chanyeol. He had asked the question to Tao before but Tao said “You’ll find out later”.

At the end of the class, Baekhyun was the assigned person to clean up the class at the last period. After he had cleaned the floor, he proceeded to lean the whiteboard. Blame his height, he had to jump a few times to clean the board. On the last step, he had tripped himself and closed his eyes and brace himself for the impact.

He waited for a few second before he opened his eyes only to be greeted by his teacher’s face. They stayed like that for a moment before Baekhyun realised their position and awkwardly stand up.

“Thanks, saem”. Baekhyun said.

“Here, let me help you”, Chanyeol grabbed the duster from his hand and cleaned the whiteboard. Baekhyun couldn’t help but to feel butterfly in his stomach the moment their fingers brushed even for a slight moment.

“Thank, again. You don’t have to”, Baekhyun said politely.

“Nah, Its okay really”, Chanyeol give him a smile. “I see its your turn today to clean up the class”.

Baekhyun just nodded.

Baekhyun grabbed his bag and was about to walk out of the class when he tripped himself again but this time, Chanyeol managed to pull him back. When Baekhyun looked up, he noticed that their faces were only inches away and he could feel Chanyeol’s hot breath on him. He couldn’t look Chanyeol in the eyes so his eyes landed on CHanyeol’s lips.

Chanyeol were also the same. Baekhyun was awared that Chanyeol were getting closer yet he couldn’t bring himself to pulled back.

“Can I?”, Chanyeol muttered before he slowly yet gracefully connected their lips together. Baekhyun who were completely lost in the kiss started to respond to the kiss. CHanyeol had wrapped Baekhyun in his arm and Baekhyun’s hand found its way to wrap the latter’s neck.

Baekhyun broke the kiss abruptly and winced in pain when he felt something or rather someone bite him on his hand. When he looked down, he noticed that Tao was the one who had bitten him and was fuming with anger.

“I- I gotta go”, Baekhyun left CHanyeol dumbfounded.

Since that day, Baekhyun always avoided Chanyeol except when he was in his class. He was embarrassed and couldn’t help but to remember the kiss back then. But the more he distanced himself from the Giant, the more he gets anxious and he actually missed the Giant.

Why would he miss him?

Chanyeol also felt the same thing. He thought that Baekhyun would hate him after what he had done. He couldn’t control himself back there. He rubbed his face in frustration and looked at the picture in his phone where he sneakily capture a picture of Baekhyun.

Baekhyun was eating with EXO when Sehun talked about his teacher. Yup, HIS teacher.

“That teacher, I don’t like his smile. He has a pointy ears also”.

“What?!”, Baekhyun snapped.

“His smile were t he most dazzling thing I’ve ever seen in the world. His smile beats the thousand spotlight out there. His ear? His pointy ear is cute! Seriously, Sehun why don’t you like him? That teacher has a really good voice and did you see his eyelashes? The way he would frown when he was having difficulties?”, Baekhyun kept babbling.

His group were staring at him as if he’s an alien.

“Dude, you’re infatuated to him”, Suho remarked earning a nod from the rest of their friend. Baekhyun kept himself shut hearing the remark.

“No, I’m not
